"Unfortunately, I do have duty this afternoon. By the way, I forgot to ask you—didn't you go out to patrol outside the Fortress today? Aren't patrols supposed to last for Eight Hours? How did you come back so soon? How was the mission outside the Fortress?" Moon Goddess asked Rek.
Rek recounted the first half of his mission experience to Moon Goddess. As for what happened in the Death Flower Sea, he chose to keep that to himself; it was better for her not to know some things right now, to spare her worry or risk her speaking about it.
When Moon Goddess heard about Alice losing control of the Hover Motorcycle and crashing into the Two-Headed Wolf Pack, she felt a bit anxious. However, seeing Rek standing safely in front of her eased her tension.
She also listened as he described how Master Muya, faced with an attack from the Two-Headed Wolves, chose to stay behind and let Rek and Alice escape.
Moon Goddess found it amusing. "You left your mentor all alone! While it's wise to avoid danger, you shouldn't put your teacher in such a predicament. But thankfully, your mentor Maya is quite strong. She's truly a responsible teacher," she commented on Maya.
"Yes, Maya is a good teacher. She's really quite nice," Rek began indirectly praising Maya to Moon Goddess.
Just then, it was noon, and Maya took Rek to the cafeteria inside the hospital for lunch.
In the afternoon, Maya was on duty. In fact, there were still many injured in the infirmary. Whenever missions were carried out in Dark Space, there would inevitably be injuries when encountering battles with Alien Species.
Compared to Rek, who was a freshman, the number of missions he had undertaken outside Fortress was still quite low, and most of the tasks he encountered were patrols and explorations.

Throughout the afternoon, Moon Goddess visited several patient rooms, providing diagnoses and recovery checks for more than ten injured students from their junior and senior years who were undergoing rehabilitation.
Rek stayed by Moon Goddess's side, watching her work as a healer, feeling somewhat mesmerized.
Time passed quickly, and it was already past five in the afternoon. Moon Goddess finished her day's work, disinfected herself, changed her clothes, and she and Rek headed toward the infirmary cafeteria.
Suddenly, Moon Goddess's communicator rang.
"Moon God Doctor, two sophomore students from the Special Class who went outside Super Soldier Academy Fortress today for a mission suddenly appeared in the Sophomore Cafeteria with high temperatures, fever, coughs, multiple organ failures, and symptoms such as vomiting blood."
"Now that they have been sent to the infirmary and urgently need treatment, please have the Moon God Doctor head to Treatment Room 103 immediately upon hearing this."
Upon hearing this, the Moon Goddess glanced apologetically at Rek beside her. "Why don't you take my employee card and go eat? I need to check on the two patients who were just brought in."

The communicator quickly replied to the Moon Goddess, "These two Sophomore Students, according to mission records, discovered a Pink Fountain in Dark Space this morning under the guidance of their Special Class Teacher and collected a small portion of Fountain Liquid."
Hearing this, the Moon Goddess had no particular reaction, but Rek's heart sank.
Rek thought to himself, "Damn it, the worst possible scenario has occurred."
These Sophomore Special Class students must be the ones who rescued Maya earlier in the day.
After saving Maya, they went to check out the 'fountain,' but surprisingly did not die on the spot; they must have been infected by some unknown virus.
The Virus Check Scan Quarantine Room at the entrance of Super Soldier Academy had not detected these infected individuals before allowing them in.
It now seemed that the virus had entered its incubation period. These two Sophomore Students were likely dangerous carriers. If this virus is highly contagious, many people within the Super Soldier Academy Fortress will probably be infected one after another.
Rek had witnessed the actual power of human viral weapons in his previous life and had seen many cities devastated by viral attacks.
Although those viruses were engineered by humans, citizens and survivors in infected cities often suffered painful deaths, with bodies strewn everywhere and extremely high contagion rates.
"Moon Goddess, take me to the nearest room with high-level isolation suits immediately. We need to change into the suits before we go see them," Rek said seriously.
Seeing Rek's serious demeanor, Moon Goddess understood that the situation was not simple.
Without asking further questions, Moon Goddess led Rek to the nearest medical supplies storage room, where they both changed into high-level isolation suits.
Rek first performed the Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation before putting on the isolation suit.
Rek thought to himself that the two infected individuals must have undergone Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation while on a mission outside Fortress, which allowed them to be infected. It seemed that this unknown virus could bypass even the existing evolutionary capabilities of Genetic Mechs.
"Do you know something?" Moon Goddess asked, noticing Rek's tense expression.
"You should have Master Mie wear the highest-level isolation suit and study the 'fountain' liquid brought back by those two infected Sophomore Students from Dark Space Fortress.
If possible, you might suggest to Master Mie to quickly isolate all potentially dangerous areas," Rek said.
Upon hearing this, Moon Goddess realized the severity of the situation.
"Isolating all potentially dangerous areas" is a method typically used in cases of highly infectious diseases.
As soon as Moon Goddess heard Rek's statement, she reported these issues to Doctor Mie.
Then, Moon Goddess quickly led Rek, who was now in his high-level isolation suit, toward Treatment Room 103.
When Moon Goddess and Rek entered Room 103 wearing blue high-level isolation suits, a young Nurse inside looked at them with curiosity.
But the remaining older Nurse in the room began to tremble when she saw the Moon Goddess dressed in a high-level protective suit.
The senior nurse, who had worked in the medical office for many years, understood very well what it meant for a doctor to wear such high-intensity protective clothing to see a patient.
"Who has been in close contact with these two patients?" Rek asked the Senior Nurse.
"Preliminary judgment suggests that the ambulance driver, an intern doctor, and a caregiver had contact with the patients during transport. The older Nurse nodded at Moon Goddess's instructions and immediately began to act. After contacting the relevant departments using her Wrist Communicator, she opened the door and headed toward the vacant patient rooms across the hall.
Another younger Nurse attempted to assist this older Senior Nurse but was directly avoided by her.
"Self-isolate and do not contact anyone," the older Senior Nurse said firmly.
With the command from the Moon Goddess issued, the infirmary quickly descended into chaos. Fortunately, the order was swiftly executed, and patients walking in the hall, along with the Injured, were taken back to empty wards for isolation.
Everyone was required to maintain a distance of five meters and avoid contact with one another.
Rek admired the courage and decisiveness of the Moon Goddess. Faced with this unknown virus, she issued an emergency isolation order at once. If this isolation order turned out to be unnecessary and no issues arose afterward, the Moon Goddess would face significant punishment in the future.
Rek thought that even if he were in the Moon Goddess's position, he might not have made such a decisive decision.
Doctor Mie quickly contacted the Moon Goddess. After listening to her report, Doctor Mie fell silent for more than ten seconds before agreeing to the Moon Goddess's isolation measures and elevated the quarantine level of the infirmary building, which was now classified as a high-security isolation zone.

I recommend that personnel wearing high-efficiency protective suits use a sealed medical vehicle to transport all three Sophomore Students and one Sophomore instructor who came into contact with the 'Fountain' liquid to the infirmary for examination.
I also recommend immediately isolating all personnel who have come into contact with the primary infected individual and suspected cases.
Based on my preliminary assessment, I provisionally classify this virus as S Rank in danger level," Doctor Mie informed the Yin Yang Principal.
The elderly Doctor Mie then contacted personnel to transfer the two infected individuals from the Moon Goddess's ward to an isolation treatment room for infectious diseases.
The Yin Yang Principal, who was about to have dinner, halted upon hearing Doctor Mie's report and immediately convened an emergency meeting while activating the Super Soldier Academy's special isolation protection procedures.
"High-Level Alert; Super Soldier Academy Second Area, Sophomore Campus is undergoing deep isolation, with metal isolation panels raised. All personnel must stop all necessary work and return to their respective residences.
Personnel whose residences are not in the Sophomore campus but are currently on the Sophomore campus must remain in place, avoiding any indirect contact with each other and maintaining a distance of five meters.
In other campuses, preliminary isolation mode is activated. All personnel and students must return to their residences and are not allowed to go out without notification." After issuing this command, the Yin Yang Principal quickly organized personnel for investigation.
Soon, a small meeting team was formed, and three students who had been in close contact with the 'Fountain' liquid along with the Special Class Teacher from Sophomore were located.
Among the three students, two had already shown symptoms of high fever and dizziness, while the Special Class Teacher from Sophomore was now coughing at their residence, exhibiting suspected symptoms of viral infection.
"Separate and send this first batch of four individuals who had close contact with the 'Fountain' liquid to the infirmary for examination," the Yin Yang Principal commanded sharply, knowing well the terror of the S-Class Virus.
If not handled properly, the S-Class Virus could spread within the Super Soldier Academy, turning what was once a fully equipped Academy Fortress into a dead city within days.
"Recall all teams that have been executing missions outside the Sophomore Special Class back to the academy during this time.
Teams that were previously sent out on missions will have their external mission time extended; without notification, they are not allowed to return to the Super Soldier Academy Fortress.
