Inside the Quarantine Room, the Sophomore Students who had just delivered their last words were also surprised to hear the conversation between the Moon Goddess and Doctor Mie, realizing that they would not have to die. The Vegetable Greenhouse, which cultivated precious Apple Trees, had somehow become a place where this terrifying slender creature could infect them, and the Sophomore Students cried tears of joy.
"Congratulations, from now on, your Apple Trees will need you to water them yourself," Rek said to the student from the Sophomore Special Class who was crying and laughing at the same time.
Closed transport vehicles were taking severely ill patients to the Vegetable Greenhouse. As long as the patients were still alive, once they entered the Vegetable Greenhouse, all the slender creatures inside their bodies would die within three seconds.
The severely ill patients were gradually treated, and under Master Mie's leadership, the doctors in the medical room discovered the reason for the treatment in the Vegetable Greenhouse.
These slender unknown creatures were not afraid of high temperatures, nor were they afraid of extreme cold or disinfectant gases; the only thing they feared was the high-quality sunlight simulated in the Vegetable Greenhouse.
After many experiments by Doctor Mie, it was concluded that as long as a certain intensity of simulated sunlight was reached, it could completely kill these slender creatures within one to three seconds.
With this conclusion, Doctor Mie no longer needed to send all infected individuals to the Vegetable Greenhouse and immediately contacted the Yin Yang Principal.
The Yin Yang Principal began to allocate existing resources from the Super Soldier Academy. Numerous high-quality sunlight lamps were sent to the severely ill isolation area, and one by one, patients were treated successfully.
However, the Yin Yang Principal still felt uneasy, fearing that some corner might be hiding uneliminated viruses.
"Could stronger simulated sunlight also kill these creatures?" the Yin Yang Principal asked Doctor Mie through a communicator.
"Yes, as long as it reaches a certain intensity, it can kill them. Theoretically, the stronger it is, the better the effect will be; however, it won't differ much," Doctor Mie replied.
These slender unknown creatures from Dark Space were surprisingly afraid of sunlight.
"Indeed, Dark Space has likely not seen sunlight for tens of thousands of years. These slender, highly infectious organisms have never been exposed to sunlight. Although their infectiousness is strong, they do have a fatal weakness," said Doctor Mie.
Upon hearing Doctor Mie's assessment, Yin Yang Principal immediately instructed the Weapon Development Department to develop and assemble a high-fidelity solar radiation device. After all, as long as the materials were complete, creating such lighting equipment was not difficult.
The infected area had not been immediately contacted; however, aside from the few initial infected individuals who died, everyone else had been cured.
On the third day of isolation, a replica of the High-Intensity Solar Radiation Device was activated within the Super Soldier Academy Fortress.
"All personnel, do not look up. I repeat, all personnel, do not look up. The high-intensity simulated sunlight rays will be activated in ten minutes," announced the voice over the intercom.
Ten minutes later, warm rays from the simulated sunlight device illuminated every corner of the Super Soldier Academy. This specially designed sunlight device had strong penetrating power.
For the next three days, it continuously radiated for twenty-four hours. During this time, no patients exhibited symptoms of infection from the slender unknown organisms within the Super Soldier Academy Fortress.
Yin Yang Principal ordered the cessation of isolation and simulated sunlight exposure, restoring order to the Super Soldier Academy.
The tall isolation metal panels were retracted back into the Fortress, and those from the Sophomore Class who had survived and the injured in the medical room could not help but cheer at the moment they were no longer isolated.
Rek watched as students outside celebrated. Now within the Super Soldier Academy, whether students or instructors, everyone had been exposed to three days of simulated sunlight and their skin had darkened somewhat instead of remaining pale.
Rek felt a sense of relief at having resolved this dangerous infection incident.
Feeling reassured, Rek bid farewell to Moon Goddess. Staying in the medical room was fine, but after experiencing this incident, Rek felt that it was somewhat dangerous. He decided to return to his own dormitory tonight.
The doctors will be quite busy over the next two days, as there have been many patients with Ultraviolet Allergy in the Super Soldier Academy due to three consecutive days of intense sunlight exposure. Fortunately, this condition is not a significant challenge for the existing medical equipment in the infirmary.
After the incident involving the slender unknown organism, Doctor Mie from the infirmary wrote a detailed report documenting this minor disaster that could have potentially wiped out the Super Soldier Academy and the academy's response to this unexpected crisis.
In her report, Doctor Mie meticulously outlined the shortcomings of the current treatment, examination, and isolation systems at Academy Fortress, and highlighted that the discovery of a treatment method was significantly aided by Rek and Moon Goddess.
Concerned that Yin Yang Principal might overlook her report, Doctor Mie included a detailed set of inferential data at the end. This data indicated that if the Plant Greenhouse could find a way to treat the slender organism from Dark Space, delaying its discovery by just one hour could result in numerous casualties and infections within Academy Fortress.
If it were delayed by two hours, even more lives would be lost.
If it took a week to discover a treatment, more than half of the personnel at Super Warrior Academy Fortress would perish.
If no treatment was found within a month, Super Soldier Academy Fortress would completely lose the minimum number of staff required to ensure normal operations. After two months, Super Soldier Academy Fortress would become a dead city, forever trapped in some corner of Dark Space.
After receiving this report, Yin Yang Principal read it thoroughly for three hours. Subsequently, he removed certain parts of the report to temporarily conceal the contributions of Rek and Moon Goddess, replacing their names with generic terms for staff members.
Yin Yang Principal added some content before sending it back to the human Star Alliance Military at their main base in Dark Space—Sanctuary Base.
He decided that he would reward Moon Goddess and Rek properly when he had the opportunity in the future; revealing their identities to Sanctuary Base too early would be detrimental to their growth.
However, Yin Yang Principal felt a headache coming on as he recalled that Rek had previously asked him for a Reward, specifically hoping to betroth Maya Teacher to himself.
Back in his dormitory, Rek found Alice, the Golden-Haired Girl, sitting on her bed with a furrowed brow and a worried expression.
"What's up? Haven't seen you in days. Were you worried about me? The crisis has been dealt with; I’m back from the quarantine zone," Rek greeted her with a smile as he lay back on his Metal Bed.
"Rek, have you noticed that when we try to change the future, there seems to be some mysterious force in this space that obstructs our efforts?" Alice asked, catching Rek off guard.
"No, what are you thinking about?" Rek replied, puzzled.
"Maybe this is just your first reincarnation, so it's normal not to notice. For example, during the battle at the mine against the Dark Golden Ant, we saved Maya and many students and instructors from the Sophomore Class who should have died.
Look at what happened: previously, during the outdoor training session of the Sophomore Class, a Headless Abomination appeared. If you hadn't acted and killed those three heads in advance, many from the Sophomore Class would have suffered casualties, and Maya was there too; she might have died as well.
Then there was the incident with the elongated biological virus. If we hadn't found a treatment in time, not only would the Sophomore Class have suffered greatly, but many others from different years in the academy would have died too.
Do you remember what Maya said outside Academy Fortress during our training mission? If we hadn't contacted her in time, she would have followed that team from the Sophomore Special Class to see the 'fountain.' If she had gone, she likely would have died there," Alice said in a somewhat somber tone.
"It could all just be coincidence; don’t overthink it. You should focus more on how to improve your monkey's strength," Rek responded.
"I feel like we two who have been reborn—or rather, the current Host of the War God System and I as the former Host—are the variables in this space. We are trying to change the situation where Earth Prime World is destroyed by Alien Species in the future."
In previous cycles, I failed alone many times.
Now that you have appeared, I feel even more that what has happened in this space in the past and future may already be predetermined.
Although we can use some prophetic means to prevent certain tragedies from occurring, subsequently, some force within the space will trigger many coincidences and inevitabilities, causing those events or disasters that did not happen to manifest in another way.
If this is true, it will be difficult to avoid the scenario where Earth Prime World is invaded by Dark Space Alien in the future." Alice said in a somewhat hoarse voice.
After hearing this, Rek stepped forward and patted Alice on her Blonde head: "What are you thinking about! I don't know anything about coincidences and inevitabilities or spatial forces. I only know that I previously altered the future and avoided disaster.
For example, in the last two instances, I also prevented disasters from occurring. This shows that we have the ability to change the future; the future is not destined to remain unchanged.
Moreover, as long as we do our best and live well ourselves, if humanity truly faces destruction, what does it have to do with us? If the world is really destined for destruction, I still want to be the last living human being on Earth." Rek said confidently.
Upon hearing Rek's words, Alice thought for a moment and then smiled: "Ha! That's true; we shouldn't dwell on those unknown worries. We should live well, continuously grow stronger, and then we will live better. Having you as an optimistic friend is also nice."
"Alright, Alice, I'm going back to my dormitory from now on. I'm not staying in the infirmary anymore; after this crisis, I feel a bit unsafe there." Rek said quietly.
Upon hearing this, Alice burst into laughter.

The next day, after having breakfast together at the Student Cafeteria, Rek and Alice went to their classroom in Special Class Two.
The two entered the classroom and noticed that Maya was not wearing the usual attire of a Special Class Teacher today, but instead had on a long white robe.
"You've arrived. We have been on break for several days due to quarantine, but classes should resume normally today. However, before we start, I would like to take you to pay respects to my fallen comrades. A teacher from the Sophomore Class, who is also a Special Class instructor, along with four of his students, recently helped me outside the Dark Space Fortress and has now passed away.
I don't know if you are willing to join me. If not, you can have free time today, and I will go alone," Maya said.
During these days of quarantine, Maya had been confined to her Teacher's Dormitory and could not move around freely. She had heard some news. She learned that her teammate, who had just assisted her a few days ago, had died, and she knew that if it weren't for her concern for her students' safety in Dark Space, she might have perished while carrying out the "Fountain" mission.
Maya felt that life was somewhat fragile now. Fortunately, the radio that Rek had given her supported her during these helpless days.
For the past few days, Maya had been secretly broadcasting the Savior's Declaration and many thoughts from her heart through the radio, venting her emotions.
"Okay, I will go with you," Alice said.
"I will go too," Rek added.
Maya led the two of them to an open area in the Fifth District of the Super Soldier Academy, where numerous small stone boxes were placed. She guided them to a box marked with the name of the Sophomore Class Special Class Teacher and the names of four students.
"They are considered martyrs this time. During the Dark Space reconnaissance mission, they brought back 'Fountain' liquid, which allowed our military to understand this dangerous creature in advance and learn how to combat it," Maya said softly as she took out a small bottle of liquor from her pocket and poured it in front of the stone box.
"This teacher from the Sophomore Class Special Class was very supportive when I first arrived at the Super Soldier Academy. I never expected him to leave so suddenly. This is our mission as soldiers! To ensure that people in the Main World can live better lives, we can be fearless and make sacrifices, but we must not lose our faith as Star Alliance Soldiers," Maya said quietly.
"They have already left, but the unfinished business they left behind will be taken over and continued by us. Humanity will not be extinguished by the Alien Species." Beside them, Alice spoke with some emotion. Having been reborn multiple times, she had made many friends in her early reincarnations. Later, as she faced the constant deaths of those comrades and friends in battles against the Alien Species, Alice felt heartbroken each time.
In her subsequent reincarnations, Alice chose to face things alone, attempting to save the world by herself. This way, at least she could lessen the pain of parting and loss.
It wasn't until she met Rek, this strange boy, that Alice's previously unchangeable fate began to shift. She started to try to understand Rek.
As for Rek, he remained silent, watching Alice and Maya in front of him.
When Rek was first reborn, his plan was to obtain Genetic Mech and gain some benefits in Dark Space before distancing himself from the Super Soldier Academy. He knew that the Super Soldier Academy would be targeted for a surprise attack by the Alien Species in just over a year and would be one of the first to be destroyed.
Now, after interacting with Maya at the Super Soldier Academy and becoming classmates with Alice, Rek realized that even though Maya knew the academy was going to be attacked, she would not shy away from it. As for Alice, he was still uncertain.
Rek's heart began to waver as he contemplated whether he should stay at the Super Soldier Academy—a potential death trap—to defend Academy Fortress and help Maya fend off the Alien Species.
He wanted to ensure that everyone at the academy, including Maya and others, could survive as much as possible.
"Forget it; I won't think too much about it now. I'll consider it when the time comes! If there’s a chance to defend the Super Soldier Academy then, I will stay. If a year from now the academy faces an unbeatable number of Alien Horde, I will leave.
I won’t sacrifice my life as a savior. I want to live better." Rek resolved within himself.
What Rek was thinking and deciding now was a change from his initial thought of simply giving up on the Super Soldier Academy.
