Maya's communicator rang, and when she picked it up, it turned out to be the Yin Yang Principal contacting her.
"What is it, Principal?" Maya activated the communicator and asked.
"Maya, Sanctuary Base has sent a high-speed hover car to collect the blood samples that are afraid of sunlight," Yin Yang Principal said in a sharp tone.
"Principal, you should contact the infirmary. They should have some of those blood samples stored. Why are you contacting me?" Maya replied somewhat impatiently.
Nearby, Rek and Alice were trying to eavesdrop.
"The issue is your father. He sent word that you must return to Sanctuary Base with the hover car. He wants to celebrate your birthday and arrange your engagement," Yin Yang Principal stated.
"Principal, can't you delay or postpone this matter?" Maya said, sounding displeased.
"It can't be postponed. This time for your engagement, I heard your father has called all the unmarried young men from the *** over. On the surface, it's for your birthday celebration, but in reality, it's to choose a fiancé from among them.
If I delay this, I would be opposing many influential military figures from the Star Alliance Military, which would be quite troublesome," Yin Yang Principal said sharply.

"Maya, I'm going back with you," Rek said aloud.
"Why would you come back with me? I'm going to Sanctuary Base, and I have things to do," Maya refused.
Rek confidently stepped forward and said, "Maya, there's no need to explain. I heard clearly from the principal's communication that you're going back to Sanctuary Base for a blind date.
From the looks of it, you don't want to go on that date, and you don't want to marry those strangers you barely know. Just take me back with you and say I'm your boyfriend; that will send those suitors away."
Maya was taken aback by Rek's words. This plan was feasible, but when she looked at Rek's age, he was clearly still too young and obviously just a student.
"No way, I can't take you with me. I'll go back myself; bringing you along won't help at all and might even get you into trouble," Maya insisted.
"Why not?" Rek asked.
"My father isn't joking around. If things go wrong, he might exile you, and you're still too young," Maya replied.
"Those are just excuses; in my opinion, they aren't problems at all," Rek insisted.
"Alright, enough nonsense. I'll give you both a day off today.
After I leave, the Yin Yang Principal will assign a temporary substitute teacher," Maya said, urging Rek and Alice to leave.
Rek and Alice walked along the path in the campus.
"Alice, do you know Maya's identity? Who is her father?" Rek asked Golden-Haired Alice beside him.
"What! Oh my god, I thought you had already figured out her true identity since you got close to Maya before!
I can't believe you don't know anything! Maya's father is Muku Tenmu, one of the three giants of the Star Alliance Military, who has ultimate control over all the armies of the Star Alliance Military in Dark Space.
Muku Tenmu is located at Sanctuary Base in Dark Space.
