Yin Yang Principal reluctantly agreed to Rek's request.
“Rek, you will return tomorrow with Maya. I will arrange for you to have a nominal position in the infirmary, assisting in transporting this special Fountain Liquid back to Sanctuary Base,” Yin Yang Principal said sharply, unaware if Rek would survive the journey.
“Is that all? Alright, Principal, I have no further business here, so I’ll take my leave,” Rek said as he bid farewell to the principal, satisfied with the outcome.

The next day, at the Super Soldier Academy Fortress Second Area Training Ground, a newly developed advanced land Hover Transport Vehicle from the Star Alliance Military was parked.
Dressed in a Combat Suit, Maya boarded the Hover Car, holding a longsword in one hand, and noticed a boy in a white lab coat sitting with his back to her, holding a metal box.
As soon as Maya entered, the Hover Car quickly closed its doors and took off from the Academy Fortress.
At first, Maya paid no attention, but once the hovering vehicle left the Fortress, the boy in the white lab coat turned around and smiled at her.
“Master Muya, I’m here to accompany you to see your father!” Rek said, trying to smile.
“Rek! Get out of here! What do you mean by seeing him? My father will kill you,” Maya angrily replied.
“This Hover Car has already started and left the Super Soldier Academy Fortress. If I jump out now, I’ll be alone in Dark Space, and without even wearing a protective suit, I’ll die,” Rek said pitifully.
Master Muya glared at Rek, “You went to Sanctuary Base, don’t say anything reckless.”
"Don't worry, Master Muya, just leave everything to me. I'll take care of that old bastard your dad, and I won't let him betroth you to anyone else," Rek said confidently.
"Don't speak ill of my father, and don't say this at Sanctuary Base, or you won't even know how you died. Just say you're my student here for my birthday party, and don't cause any trouble," Maya warned Rek.
"I'm the most obedient one, so don't worry about me!" Rek replied nonchalantly.
After hearing this, Maya looked at her mischievous student and couldn't help but feel uneasy.
Along the way, Rek chatted casually with Maya.

The hovercar arrived at the Star Alliance Military's main base in Dark Space—Sanctum.
The hovercar docked at a parking bay in Sanctuary Base.
Rek and Maya got off the hovercar, but Maya's expression had become somewhat unnatural. Rek, however, was quite casual as he handed over a special box containing fountain blood to several Medical Personnel who came to greet them.
A female commander in her thirties, followed by several Advanced Genetically Enhanced Mech Warriors, approached the dock with great authority to welcome Maya.
"Maya, it's been years since we last met. You've grown into a beautiful young woman. Tomorrow is your twenty-sixth birthday party," the female commander said warmly to Maya.
"Hmph! Aunt Xue, was this birthday party arranged by my father or was it your idea?" Maya coldly asked the woman in her thirties, the Female Commander.
"Of course, it was personally arranged by your father! You child, still unwilling to call me 'Mom'! You're getting older and should be starting a family. Your father has good intentions.
You will eventually understand how much thought your father has put into this. As a mother, I can tell you that when looking for a man, you should find someone strong; other factors like looks and age don't matter," the woman in her thirties said to Maya.
Rek, who was following Maya, understood a bit more now; this woman was likely Maya's stepmother.
"Mom!" Rek exclaimed, agreeing with Aunt Xue's words.
"Ah!" Maya raised her hand and gave Rek a light smack on the head. "Don't call me that."
"Who is this young man? Why did you bring back a boy?" Aunt Xue finally noticed the seventeen or eighteen-year-old Rek behind Maya, who looked quite energetic.
"He is my—" Maya began to introduce Rek but was interrupted as he stepped forward.
"I am Maya's boyfriend. My name is Rek. I am currently a student at the Super Soldier Academy's Special Class. Stepmother, please take care of me!" Rek said cheerfully to Aunt Xue.
Maya felt frustrated about her father's arrangement of her marriage, and Rek's bold claim of being her boyfriend caught her off guard; she didn't immediately correct him.
Aunt Xue glanced at Maya and then at Rek.
"Maya, how could you find such a young boyfriend?" Aunt Xue asked in surprise.
Maya remained silent, while Rek beside her was not pleased.
In a very assertive tone, he addressed the future mother-in-law, saying, "Stepmother, you have experience. You just said that when looking for a man, it's best to find someone strong; other factors like appearance and age don't matter. I am very strong and more than capable of matching your daughter Maya."
Hearing this, Maya's face was filled with black lines, and it was not the right time to explain.
Aunt Xue, upon hearing Rek's words and observing the reactions of Rek and Maya, stood in shock for over ten seconds before responding.
"Ha! Rek, right? It seems your little boyfriend Maya has quite a bit of courage! I hope his strength matches his bravery. Stepmother won't stand in your way; as long as you can get past General Muku Tenmu, you're good. Come on, Maya, let's go see your dad." Aunt Xue said, pulling Maya's hand as they walked into the Sanctuary Base, ignoring Rek entirely.
"Yeah, let's go meet my future father-in-law," Rek said loudly to himself, naturally following behind Aunt Xue and Maya without any sense of hesitation.
The soldiers following Aunt Xue glanced at her but did not speak up to stop or hinder Rek.
After more than ten minutes, Aunt Xue led Maya and Rek into an independent office within the Sanctuary Base.
Upon entering, Rek saw a robust man in his fifties at a desk, reviewing military electronic reports.
"Tianmu, your daughter is back, and this time she brought home a little boyfriend," Aunt Xue said softly as she walked up behind the man and gave his shoulders a gentle squeeze.
"Dad!" Maya called out as she stood to the side. She felt quite confused inside and didn't know how to explain her mischievous classmate Rek to him.
"Mm!" General Muku Tenmu looked up at the young man Rek. Rek met the gaze of his future father-in-law without fear.
"You, a mere commoner, how dare you marry someone from the Mu Family? Rek, I have already seen your identity; you are just a student taught by Maya. Maya is your teacher.
This time, if you leave now after pretending to be Maya's boyfriend, I can treat it as a joke. Otherwise, hm!" General Muku Tenmu said coldly to Rek, exuding a powerful aura.
Rek was not intimidated at all and remained unfazed.
"What’s wrong with being a commoner? The Star Alliance advocates for equality among all people. There is no law that states a student cannot marry their teacher.
Moreover, my future father-in-law! I can get engaged to Maya first and hold the wedding after I graduate," Rek said nonchalantly.
Hearing this, General Muku Tenmu was so furious that he crushed the pen in his hand.
"Kid, my daughter from the Mu Family is not someone you can just marry! You can't provide Maya with a future or happiness!" Muku Tenmu said as he stood up.
Seeing that General Muku Tenmu was genuinely angry, Rek still showed no signs of backing down. Aunt Xue and Maya were both a little flustered, unsure of how to persuade him.
"Old man, I can indeed provide for Maya's future and happiness!
Maya would be much better off with me than with those useless fools you picked out for her.
Besides, what era are we in? We advocate for freedom in marriage. I'm only calling you father-in-law out of respect for Maya; otherwise, I wouldn't even give you a glance!" Rek said with great confidence. He knew that in just one year, the Alien Catastrophe would erupt, and whether Muku Tenmu could survive the impending war was uncertain.
"Kid, how dare you!" General Muku Tenmu was enraged by Rek's audacious words and drew his sword to strike at him. After being a general for over ten years, it was the first time he encountered someone who dared to confront him like this.
Standing behind Muku Tenmu, Aunt Xue quickly rushed to block her husband in front of the mountain when she sensed something was wrong.
Maya also stood in front of Rek.
"Maya, you take Rek and leave first. You just returned to Sanctum; go rest for a bit," Aunt Xue said urgently, grabbing Muku Tenmu's hand that was reaching for his sword. She thought to herself how could Maya, who seemed so clever, end up with such an oblivious boy as her boyfriend. Wasn't Maya just trying to provoke her father by bringing him back?
Maya pulled Rek along, eager to get out. She knew her father's temperament well; as a general, he wouldn't hesitate to kill if provoked. For her father, killing Rek at Sanctuary Base would be a trivial matter.
"Old man, I'm determined to marry Maya! If you dare to arrange a marriage for her, I'll elope with Maya and you'll be a grandfather next year!" Rek shouted as they walked away.
The guards outside the room and passing generals, upon hearing this, filled in the blanks and took a few more glances at Rek being dragged by the young lady Maya.
Maya already regretted agreeing to come with Rek. Her face turned as red as an apple as she forcefully pulled him away, wishing she could bury him alive right then and there.

Half an hour later, Maya found a high-end two-bedroom apartment and let Rek stay in one room while she took the other.
"Maya, you must like me too, right? Why are you so eager to live together? I’ve been ready for this for a long time, but—" Rek said with a mischievous smile as he looked around the two-bedroom apartment.
"Live together? Are you kidding? Rek, stop saying nonsense! Today was so dangerous! If Aunt Xue and I hadn't stopped you, my dad would have killed you on the spot. The only reason I'm letting you stay in this two-bedroom apartment is because you confronted my dad today. If you were on your own, I’d probably have trouble finding your body tomorrow!" Maya angrily replied to Rek, who was acting like a problem student.
