Some relatives who came with their children looked at General Muku Tenmu, whose expression was as if he were about to devour someone, and dared not question anything.

General Muku Tenmu continued, "For fairness in this second match, I have invited three masters from the music industry. You will have one hour; those who are ready can come forward to perform. The three music masters will score on the spot. The total score will count towards the final results of the four matches."
As soon as General Muku Tenmu finished speaking, two men and one woman entered the Training Ground.
The two men appeared to be in their seventies or eighties, while the woman was quite young, only about twenty-five or twenty-six years old. She looked about the same age as Maya.
Seeing these three enter the Training Ground, Rek thought the woman looked somewhat familiar; she had a pair of captivating blue eyes and wore a blue dress.
One of the young men participating in the competition beside him excitedly exclaimed, "Oh my! It's Blue Pearl!"
"The diva! The general actually invited Blue Diva! Looks like my trip here wasn't in vain. Even if I can't marry Maya, I must get a photo with the diva later; it would be great if I could invite her to dinner or something."
"Idol, Blue Diva is my idol. I can't believe I get to see her here."
Most of the young contestants looked towards the female judge, Blue Pearl, upon the appearance of the three judges.
Rek recalled that Blue Pearl was a popular singer in Previous Life before the Alien Species crisis erupted. She had starred in several blockbuster films and was known as the Sapphire Diva.
"The timer has started; quickly create your lyrics!" Aunt Xue said, stepping forward as she noticed some chaos in the venue due to the presence of Blue Diva.
Upon hearing Aunt Xue's words, the twelve contestants stopped their discussions and began to think about their lyrics.
Rek took a moment to look at Blue Pearl more closely.
In Previous Life, before the Xeno Outbreak, Blue Pearl was one of his favorite singers. Later, when the Alien Species crisis broke out, survival became a challenge. During that time, Blue Pearl even sang military songs, and her music style shifted towards battle anthems.
Even the military played several of Blue Pearl's songs to help ease the soldiers' emotions.
Unfortunately, Rek remembered that two years before his rebirth, during a concert at a Human Base, Blue Pearl was attacked by Alien Species. She did not manage to escape and died on stage.
"I've thought of a song; it's called March of the Warriors!" a contestant in his early thirties announced as he stepped forward.
General Muku Tenmu raised his hand and let another band enter.
The contestant began to sing a fast-paced battle song, and his family members standing outside were very pleased as they listened.
The performance ended quickly, and the three judges started scoring. Two elderly judges gave scores of seven and nine, while Blue Pearl gave an eight.
Rek thought to himself, "This competitor was able to come up with lyrics so quickly. Could it be that he worked in the music industry before?"
However, Rek soon saw that contestants were stepping up one after another to sing, including a bald middle-aged man with a big belly who managed to perform a powerful new song with decent lyrics.
Rek realized that the topics for this competition must have been leaked beforehand.
Looking at the situation, among the thirteen people present, he was the only one who had not prepared. These contestants had likely learned from General Muku Tenmu that they would be required to create and perform a military-themed song.
These children of influential families had their songs prepared for them long before they arrived.
Otherwise, how could all twelve of them come up with so many good songs in just one hour, especially when they were required to be battle-themed?
Rek smiled wryly while Maya looked at him with concern. Maya knew her father was being unreasonable; this competition was clearly designed to eliminate Rek.
There was no way Rek could come up with a good song in such a short time. Although Maya had never heard Rek sing before, even an excellent musician would find it difficult to create a battle-themed song in just one hour.
"You are being unfair! This isn't right!" Maya said angrily as she approached her father, Muku Tenmu.
"There is no such thing as fairness or unfairness. I have already given Rek one chance. Those who received this challenge are from families strong enough to qualify. There is no absolute fairness or dishonesty in this world, only victory and defeat," General Muku Tenmu coldly replied to his daughter and then ignored her.
The hour of preparation time quickly came to an end. The twelve contestants finished singing their military songs one after another. The highest score went to a very handsome young man who received a ten and two nines.
The only person present who did not go up to sing was Rek.
Aunt Xue looked at Rek and said, "If you haven't thought of a song and do not perform, you will lose your chance to participate in this competition and be disqualified from marrying into my Mu Family.
If you have a few simple lyrics in mind, you can try to sing them. Although the score may be low, there are still two more competitions ahead, and you might have a bit of hope."
Upon hearing his stepmother's words, Rek smiled slightly and strode forward.
Rek looked at the anxious Maya and then glanced at the judges outside, particularly at Blue Pearl, who had become a legend after the years.
Rek spoke up, "I am ready to perform my song. The title is 'The Final Warrior on the Edge of Life and Death.'"
Rek mentioned the song that Blue Pearl sang during her final concert at the last moment of her life after the Xeno Outbreak in his previous life.
At that time, Blue Pearl expressed her innermost feelings through the song, and shortly after, she perished in that disaster.
However, 'The Final Warrior on the Edge of Life and Death' was successfully recorded, along with the scene where Blue Pearl was pierced through the chest by the Alien Species' forelimb.
Later, this footage was released by the Star Alliance Military, igniting the passion of Star Alliance soldiers. Rek remembered that video from his past life; on stage, Blue Pearl looked defiantly at the Alien Species charging towards her. She did not evade but sang the last line of the song: 'My soul roars; even if I face eternal damnation, my belief will remain eternal; humanity will never perish.' Then Blue Pearl was pierced through the chest by the Alien Species' forelimb, blood staining her dress.
Due to the impact of this video recording, soldiers of the Star Alliance Military who watched it were invigorated as if they had been given a shot of adrenaline. In a short period, they managed to retake three cities occupied by the Alien Species.
Unfortunately, this counterattack did not last long; the Alien Queen immediately deployed new troops, preventing any reversal of humanity's defeat.
