"How about dedicating yourself to me?" Rek said with a smile after hearing Maya's words.
"Dream on! That's impossible. You're still my student. You're not my type; I prefer men who are like saviors!" Maya said, somewhat lost in thought.
Upon hearing this, Rek realized that Maya's savior complex was acting up again.
Maya not only wanted to be a savior herself but also hoped her future husband would be one too.
"Drive steadily and don't get distracted. Who knows, I might really become a savior in the future!" Rek said, with the last part of his sentence spoken so softly that only he could hear it.

After more than ten hours of driving the Hover Motorcycle, Maya was feeling tired and could barely keep her eyes open.
She was about to take out a stamina recovery potion from the pocket of her protective suit.
"Don't drink that potion. We're not on a dangerous mission right now, and these potions have some side effects.
Although the military Research Institution claims that this stamina recovery potion is non-toxic, I know a bit about medicine.
The stamina recovery potion you're about to drink has a direct side effect: it can disrupt your body's metabolism system, and long-term use will accelerate the aging of your skin cells.

If you get tired, don't switch to autopilot. The Dark Space Alien activity is frequent, and it's hard to handle emergencies while in autopilot mode.
If you feel tired, wake me up; if anything unexpected happens, make sure to wake me up quickly!" Maya still felt a bit uneasy and repeatedly reminded Rek.
"Alright, you can sleep peacefully; I know what I'm doing!" Rek replied as he took over the main driving System of the two-person Hover Motorcycle, smoothly operating it across the surface of the Dark Space Sand.
After a few minutes of observation, Maya realized that Rek was indeed driving without any issues.
Having not rested well last night due to worrying about Rek, she felt relieved after seeing him in person today.
Now, after driving the Hover Motorcycle for over ten hours straight, Maya was feeling extremely fatigued.
She closed her eyes and fell asleep within a minute or two.
Meanwhile, Rek skillfully maneuvered the Hover Motorcycle, speeding through the Dark Space.
The scenery along the way was monotonous, so Rek engaged in conversation with the War God System in his mind out of boredom.
“War God System, when will you be able to completely purify and absorb all the Energy Flower Sea Pool Water from Tower of Desire?
Isn't the energy immense? Once you absorb it all, will I receive a substantial Reward! Can you give me a hint about what Reward you are preparing for me this time?” Rek asked the War God System in his mind.
“It is estimated that in about ten days, I will be able to completely purify and absorb all the Energy Flower Sea Pool Water.
I will provide an accurate calculation of the energy only after the System has finished absorbing it. At that time, I will prepare a special Reward for you.
Since this time, Host has provided a large amount of energy that can be devoured, the System will make an exception and send a Special Reward.

Rek was very satisfied with the strong response from the War God System.
All along, Rek continued to drive the two-person Hover Motorcycle. After more than ten hours, he switched driving positions with the awakened Maya.
Both Rek and Maya took turns driving the Hover Motorcycle, maintaining high speed as they chased after the Super Soldier Academy Fortress.
Hovering Two-Person Motorcycle was speeding along, and it took seven days to catch up with the moving Super Soldier Academy Fortress.

Seeing the massive Academy Fortress moving across the Sand, Rek and Maya felt a sense of longing. They usually didn't think much about living in the Academy Fortress.
However, after spending a long time in the Dark Space Sand, being battered daily by the winds and sands of Dark Space, and constantly on guard against the hidden Alien Species lurking in the Dark Space,
Rek now realized that being able to stay inside the Academy Fortress, living under its protective shield, was truly a fortunate thing.
“Calling Super Soldier Academy Fortress Zone One Guard, I am Master Muya of Special Class Two, currently bringing student Rek aboard the Hover Motorcycle, requesting entry back into the Academy Fortress---” Maya began to contact the guards of the Academy Fortress through her communicator.
“Identity verified, permission granted. Master Muya, please reduce the speed of your Hover Motorcycle, synchronize with the Fortress, and enter through passage 002 of Zone One. The metal door for this passage is already open.” The guard's voice came back from within the Academy Fortress.
Following the instructions, Maya controlled the Hover Motorcycle to slow down, turned it around, and drove into passage 002 of Zone One.
After entering the Metal Passage, as usual, Maya stabilized the Hover Motorcycle, then led Rek into the entrance of the Academy Fortress, which featured a Sterilization and Disinfection Scan in a Metal Room.
The scanning and disinfecting beams moved back and forth over both Rek and Maya. A few minutes later, a green Safety Light lit up, indicating that neither of them carried any viruses or special radiation sources.
However, this time, the metal door leading into the interior of the Academy Fortress did not open.
“What’s going on? The scan is complete, confirming we are safe. Why aren’t we being let in? Is there a problem? Are we infected?” Maya asked in confusion.
Inside the Metal Room, a voice from a player explained.
“Master Muya, please do not be agitated. This scan shows that you are neither infected nor carrying any special radiation sources.
But I’m very sorry; you must remain for an additional Eight Hours for isolation. After these eight hours, once it is confirmed that there are no hidden viruses or parasitic organisms in your bodies, you will be allowed to enter the Super Soldier Academy Fortress.
This is a new regulation issued by the Star Alliance Military two days ago regarding all Dark Space Fortresses.
Anyone entering the Dark Space Fortress from Dark Space, regardless of their rank, must undergo an Eight Hours quarantine.
This regulation is also to prevent a recurrence of the Red Fountain Liquid Virus outbreak that occurred in our Fortress last time. The Yin Yang Principal announced this in the Fortress yesterday, but you were out on a mission and missed this latest Academy Fortress regulation.
After hearing this, Maya nodded helplessly, understanding that this rule was for everyone's safety and not specifically targeting her and Rek.
After all, she was aware of the previous outbreak at Academy Fortress, which nearly led to the downfall of the Super Soldier Academy.
Once the conversation ended, a Small Metal Door opened on the right side of the Sterilization and Disinfection Scan's Metal Room.
Rek and Maya exchanged glances before stepping through the small door, which then closed behind them.
Before Rek and Maya stood a special passage made of Tempered Glass, with small glass rooms lining both sides of the long corridor.
As they walked through the glass passage, the door to one of the small glass rooms, which contained two beds, opened. Rek and Maya entered.
The door to the small glass room closed again, and the passage they had just walked through began to spray a special gas for disinfection.
Rek and Maya lay down on the Metal Beds in the glass room. They didn't say much and quickly fell asleep.
After several days of riding on a Hover Motorcycle, even though they had taken turns resting, nothing compared to sleeping in a bed.
The eight-hour quarantine period passed quickly. The scanning and sterilization lights activated again in the glass room to check Rek and Maya, confirming that both were free of any issues. A small door at the back of the glass room opened.
"The quarantine has ended. You have been confirmed free of any infectious agents. Please exit the Quarantine Room and enter Academy Fortress," an electronic voice echoed in the room, waking both Maya and Rek from their slumber.
Rek and Maya got up and exited the isolation glass room.
Maya brushed her hair back into place after adjusting her disheveled locks from sleep and said to Rek, "I'll go report to the Yin Yang Principal first. You can head back to your dormitory to rest."
"After you return to your dormitory, please let Alice know that tomorrow afternoon during the first period, we will resume Special Class courses. Both you and Alice should come to our Special Class Two classroom."
"Alright, I'm going to take a hot shower and get some sleep. Master Muya, please send my regards to the Yin Yang Principal. Let him know that I received the Demon Blade he gave me, and it's working quite well," Rek said as he bid farewell to Maya.
Maya turned to leave, and Rek noticed several missed calls on his Wrist Communicator, all from the Moon Goddess.
"Moon Goddess! I'm back!" Rek activated the Wrist Communicator and dialed her number.
Rek realized he couldn't go back to showering and sleeping as he had planned; he had to check on the Moon Goddess instead. It had been so many days since she last saw him, she must have missed him.
"Rek! It's great to have you back! You weren't hurt during your time outside the Fortress, were you?" The joyful voice of the Moon Goddess came through the communicator.
"I'm fine; this mission went smoothly! Did anything happen while I was away?" Rek asked her.
Before Rek and Maya left Academy Fortress, he had informed the Moon Goddess that he was going on a mission and would be back in about ten days to two weeks.
"Rek, come to the infirmary. There are some things I need to discuss with you in person. I'll be waiting for you right outside!" The Moon Goddess said urgently.
"Okay! I'll be there right away!" Rek replied, putting down the communicator and quickening his pace toward the infirmary.
A little over ten minutes later, at the entrance of the infirmary, the Moon Goddess ran up to Rek and gave him a big hug.
"You’re becoming quite grown-up; aren’t you embarrassed hugging me like this?" Rek teased her.
Upon hearing this, the Moon Goddess blushed and stepped out of his embrace.
"Rek, I've been studying that little problem in my head recently. The only way to remove it is to return to the Ancient Capital and retrieve a special instrument that will temporarily stop its function so I can perform surgery to remove it later. I've realized there’s no other way," the Moon Goddess said sadly to Rek.
Seeing her expression, Rek understood that she wanted to eliminate that hidden danger in her brain immediately.
After all, knowing that there is a hidden danger in his mind, it would be better not to know; once aware, it would be hard to sleep well no matter who he was.
Rek thought for a moment. He now had the Bilateral Time-Space Gate and had obtained the Invisibility Cloak. If he went to the Research Institution in the Main World Ancient Capital to acquire special instruments, there was a chance he could succeed.
Even if he couldn't obtain the special instrument to pause the Moon Goddess's hidden danger in her mind, he should still be able to retreat safely.
"Don't worry, Moon Goddess. I already have a way to get to the Ancient Capital. I will go there in the next few days and will try my best to get an instrument that can pause that little thing in your mind from working. Once that little thing stops, I will perform the surgery on your head to remove it."
"But have you thought through the process and method of the head surgery?" Rek continued.
"You want to perform a craniotomy on me! Are you sure you can do it? Rek, do you have the skills?" The Moon Goddess asked with some concern. After all, this was about her life; head surgery was no joke. If something went wrong, she could die or become an idiot.
