Alice looked eager and said, "Let me go! I want to go. I'm ready to explore the mine with the teacher tomorrow. I love unknown missions like this. Just leave Rek up here to watch!"
Seeing Alice's fearless enthusiasm, Rek understood that she was expressing her true feelings.
Having lived through many lifetimes, Alice found it hard to encounter new things.
This mine, which should not have been discovered by the Super Soldier Academy Fortress in previous lives, was a rare new mission and experience for Alice.
However, Rek knew the dangers lurking beneath the mine and was contemplating whether he should suggest going down as well.
Master Muya glanced at Rek with some disappointment, observing his hesitation. "Alright, Rek, you stay up here to support us. Alice and I will go down into the mine.
We'll work out the specific details of this mission."
Maya had originally planned for Rek to accompany her into the mine while leaving Alice, the little girl, up top.
After all, Rek had shown stronger abilities than Alice during this time.
Moreover, Maya had a bit of selfishness; if they discovered a significant amount of energy ore after exploring the Underground Vein tomorrow, those who went down would earn more credit than those who stayed above.
Given Maya's position, she didn't care much about military accolades.
However, these accolades would be a rare benefit for Rek and Alice. Even in this military Super Soldier Academy Fortress, ordinary teachers without connections rarely received such exploration missions; only someone with Maya's special status could secure such tasks.
But now that Rek remained silent, Maya felt it was inappropriate to insist on keeping Alice behind while letting Rek accompany her.
In the afternoon, Maya explained in detail to the two about the precautions for tomorrow's mission, the possible situations that might arise, and the corresponding plans for various sudden events.
Alice sat in a chair, happily listening while sipping her juice.
After the school bell rang, Master Muya stood up and announced the end of class.
"Tomorrow morning at eight o'clock, gather on time at the Second District Training Ground, and wear your protective gear," Maya announced before leaving the classroom.
"Rek! Why did you seem a bit strange this afternoon?
If tomorrow's mission doesn't require bombs, then we won't use them! With Master Muya's and my strength, I can still summon the Victorious Monkey. That monkey has regained some strength after absorbing the Energy Flower Sea Pool Water last time and has become much stronger.

Rek looked at Golden-Haired Alice in front of him. After spending some time together, he suspected that she still had some secrets she hadn't told him, but Alice had been quite nice to him.
"This mine is very dangerous, much more dangerous than you think!" Rek decided to remind Alice.
"You know about this mine! That shouldn't be the case. In my memory, I remember that in my last life, the Star Alliance Military didn't discover this mine at all.
There was no record of this mine in any of the Dark Space files. You're overthinking it! Have you been too tense since being cursed recently?
By the way, weren't you supposed to go to the infirmary to date that little girl from the Moon Goddess? Hurry up!
I still need to buy some small props to try and make a few bombs and tools tonight; they might come in handy during tomorrow's mission," Alice said with an encouraging look at Rek.
After listening, Rek glanced at the Golden-Haired Alice in front of him, the former Host of the War God System who had lived many lives. She should have some means to protect herself.
"I hope I'm just overthinking. After mining tomorrow, if we encounter danger, I hope you can protect Maya if possible," Rek said.
"Alright, got it. Master Muya is much stronger than my Genetic Mech level, and she has a top-tier weapon in her hands. Don't worry too much; just go on your date!" Alice waved her hand at Rek and got up to leave the classroom.
"I hope I'm just overthinking!" Rek sighed to himself as he picked up his Wrist Communicator and sent a message to Moon Goddess, telling her he would be there soon.

Outside the medical building, Rek saw a fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl in a doctor's outfit eagerly looking out for him.
"Rek, you finally made it! The operating room is ready," the girl ran up to Rek and said excitedly.
"Let's eat in the cafeteria first. I came straight here after class and haven't had dinner yet. Plus, there are some things I need to discuss with you before the surgery," Rek replied.
"Okay, I knew you'd want to eat!" Moon Goddess pouted slightly in complaint as she led Rek to the internal cafeteria for staff. She went to queue for two servings of food.
Rek chose a table in the corner of the cafeteria and sat down, waiting for Moon Goddess.
Soon, Moon Goddess returned with the food and sat down beside Rek.
As Rek ate dinner, he said to Moon Goddess, "You know that this surgery can be dangerous under normal circumstances. But I have a way to avoid that danger; however, it requires some sacrifices on your part."
Upon hearing Rek's words, Moon Goddess thought of something and lowered her head, her face turning red as she felt shy about looking at Rek.
"Foolish girl, what are you thinking? The sacrifice I mentioned is not what you imagine. Do you really see me as that kind of person?" Rek looked at Moon Goddess's expression and realized she misunderstood. He raised his hand and lightly tapped her on the head.
"Ouch! That hurts! Just tell me, what kind of sacrifice do you want? As long as it can remove the hidden dangers in my mind and make me completely the same as a normal human, I can agree to any sacrifice." Moon Goddess lifted her head and rubbed her forehead, speaking to Rek.
"You need to let me be your master, and you will be my Servant. Can you accept that? Moreover, being my Servant will involve going through some special experiences." Rek thought for a moment and decided to say this to Moon Goddess.
Upon hearing Rek's words, Moon Goddess's face turned red again, like a little red apple.
"So you like this style! You said you're not that kind of person. Fine, I'll be your Servant just to play along with this style, but you mustn't tell my colleagues or let anyone else see us." Moon Goddess said shyly to Rek.
"What is going on? Moon Goddess, after spending two months in the infirmary, your thinking has become unhealthy. It seems you should avoid hanging out with the Nurse and doctors from now on; otherwise, they will lead you astray. What I mean by Servant is a real Servant, not the kind you're thinking of. Forget it; I can't explain it clearly right now. You'll understand once you experience it." Rek said somewhat frustrated.
Just after Moon Goddess agreed to be his Servant, he received a prompt from the War God System: "A sentient being wishes to make Host their master. Would you like to activate the War God System's Servant acquisition program to take Moon Goddess as the first Servant? Yes/No?"
