"We have become heroes." Alice looked at the reactions of her classmates and heard some discussions, jokingly saying to Rek.
"Heroes die quickly in the Ancient Capital. As someone cursed by the Death Causality Curse, I might as well be a hero this time," Rek said with a dry laugh.
"Don't be discouraged. Why are you so down? Isn't there still the Time Beast method? I owe you a favor this time, and I will definitely do my best to help you when dealing with the Time Beast. I will also recover some strength soon, and then I can use certain things," Alice said while looking at Rek.
Rek remained silent, taking his breakfast to a nearby empty table to eat.
"Why aren't you curious? Why don't you ask me what I can use after recovering my strength?" Golden-Haired Alice said as she carried a plate with rice porridge and small cakes, chasing after Rek and sitting down at his table.
"I'll know when you can use it, so it doesn't matter whether you ask or not. If I die, to be honest, if the Death Causality Curse hasn't been triggered in 70 days, how about you take care of the Moon Goddess for me?" Rek said, looking at Alice in front of him.
Alice was taken aback for a moment, then angrily slammed her small hand on the table.
"Smack!"
"You’re already dead and still thinking about your High-Fidelity Robot little lover? If you’re so capable, go take care of her yourself! Don't ask me for this kind of favor!" After saying that, Alice glared at Rek and got up from the table, quickly leaving the cafeteria with two small cakes in her hand.
"What’s going on? What’s up with Alice today? Did she take the wrong medicine?" Rek sighed as he watched Alice disappear at the entrance of the cafeteria.
Nearby students also looked at the scene of Alice angrily slamming the table and leaving, and some gossiping students began to whisper among themselves.
"I can't be seeing this wrong, can I? It looks like the two heroes from Special Class Two are having a fight!"
"I think I just heard Rek make a request."
As a result, Alice felt that Rek's request was too unreasonable and angrily left. By the way, it seems that Rek and Alice are in a mixed-gender dormitory; they live in the same room."
"How outrageous! How outrageous! That adorable little girl, Golden-Haired Princess Alice, has fallen into the hands of Demon King Reik. That demon king has made another unreasonable demand; I can already imagine what ridiculous request he made. My poor Princess Alice!"
"Why don't you go be a hero and rescue your princess from Demon King Reik?"
"I don't want to die, and I can't beat the demon king. At most, that would be—"
Rek listened as the nearby students continued to lower their standards in their conversation. He raised his head to look over.
A few students who caught his gaze quickly shut their mouths and dared not say anything more.
--
After breakfast, Rek originally planned to return to his dormitory. However, now that Alice had suddenly gotten angry for some unknown reason, probably because she had gone through many reincarnations and her period hadn't come yet, Rek felt it wasn't a good time to go back.
Still wearing his Combat Suit, Rek walked through the academy while students around him secretly glanced at him.
Rek found an empty classroom and went in to change out of his Combat Suit.
"War God System, I want to see how my new Servant, Elder Starshine's head, is doing in Biohazard World," Rek asked the War God System in his mind.
"There are two ways to observe a Servant in Biohazard World: one is live viewing, and the other is watching a Documentary.
If the host chooses live viewing, they need to set the time ratio to one-to-one to see what the Servant is currently doing in Biohazard World. After observing the situation, they can adjust it back to a one-to-one year time ratio."
If you choose to watch the Documentary, it depicts the experiences of Starry Glory's head in the Biohazard training space.
While watching the Documentary, the Host can view recorded footage and hear sounds that only the Host can perceive without adjusting the time ratio. The voice of the War God System echoed in Rek's mind.
"I'll just check the recorded footage; I'm not interested in watching a live stream of a Headless Abomination," Rek thought and directly chose to watch the Documentary.
The War God System quickly generated a simple player in Rek's mind, shaped like a cube.
It had fast forward, pause, and rewind buttons.
The player began to play footage of Elder Starshine being thrown into the Biohazard Infinite Loop time.
Starry Glory's head, upon entering the Biohazard World, looked around in astonishment.
He appeared in a Metal Processing Plant.
Elder Starshine's head cautiously flew out of the metal plant's door and then saw the blue sky, normal soil, and surrounding trees.
Elder Starshine took a deep breath of fresh air. This monster, now an Alien Species known as Headless Abomination, hovered at the entrance of the metal plant and then burst into tears.
Rek used Mental Energy to press the fast forward button; watching the old head cry was simply dull.
The scene quickly changed, revealing Starry Glory surrounded by numerous Zombies. These Zombies noticed the floating creature and began to approach.
Starry Glory looked at the infected Zombies with a puzzled expression.
However, Zombies did not care whether Elder Starshine was a normal human; as long as he was a living being, he was considered food in their eyes.
Many Zombies started to claw and lunge toward Starry Glory's head.
Elder Starshine reacted calmly, his dual eyes on his head emitting red beams of light. Any Zombie that was caught in his gaze would be penetrated by the red light.
Zombies that were penetrated through their bodies did not die, but those struck in the head fell directly to the ground. Elder Starshine also discovered the weakness of these Zombies and began targeting their heads specifically.
However, the number of Zombies surrounding Elder Starshine continued to increase. The Zombies were unafraid of death and unaware of the strength and terror of their enemy.
After half an hour of killing, over ten thousand Zombies had gathered around him, creating a sea of undead.
After all, this world had been ravaged by the Biochemical Crisis Virus for a year, with over ninety percent of humanity now dead and turned into Zombies.
Looking at the endless horde of Zombies, Elder Starshine gave up on continuing to shoot red beams from his eyes.
His head began to rise into the sky, preparing to escape this ocean of Zombies.
But suddenly, a flock of thousands of Zombie birds appeared in the air, chasing after his head to bite it.
Rek watched and recorded the video as Elder Starshine was once again pursued, his expression turning angry.
The red light rapidly spread outward from his head, forming concentric circles. Elder Starshine's head glowed like a beacon, flickering brightly.
The surrounding Zombie birds were not spared; those caught in the red death circle began to ignite from within. Red flames burned on the bodies of the Zombie birds, and charred remains continuously fell from the sky.
