Early the next morning, Elder Starshine sent someone with a small cart loaded with food and several types of fruit.
The person delivering the fruit arrived at the door of the two-bedroom apartment where Rek and Moon Goddess were staying, rang the doorbell, and announced that they were there to deliver food.
Rek got up, received the cart of food, and without hesitation, began to have breakfast with Moon Goddess.
"This fruit tastes great, and this meat is also delicious. I just wonder if eating this meat in a world infected by the Biochemical Crisis Virus will poison us!" Moon Goddess said with some concern while eating the fruit.
Rek picked up a large piece of cooked animal meat and put it in his mouth. "Don't worry. In this world, even if you and I die, we will be reborn. When we leave this Biohazard World, we will only take our memories with us. You will look the same when you came in as you will when you go out."
"It seems Elder Starshine has put in a lot of effort. It's been two years since the outbreak of the Biochemical Crisis Virus, yet he can still manage to get such abundant fruits and meats. Gathering this food must not have been easy for him. This time he brought us all these delicious treats."
"Considering that Elder Starshine is treating us with the best, Moon Goddess, why don't you write a list of necessary medical instruments for that poor Head Star?"
Moon Goddess smiled upon hearing this and continued to eat. These large fruits were rare even in the Dark Space Super Soldier Academy Fortress, so being able to eat them was quite a treat.
After finishing their meal, Rek and Moon Goddess took a short break.
Moon Goddess then sat at the table in the living room, took some paper and a pen from the table, and began to write down the medical instruments needed for research.
A list of instrument uses and medical analysis equipment was recorded by Moon Goddess.
Rek watched from the side without interrupting Moon Goddess. After an hour, Moon Goddess finally looked up and smiled at Rek.
"How is it? Take a look at the list of equipment I wrote. You're a doctor too, so you should understand some medical equipment," Moon Goddess said to Rek, handing over a large sheet detailing the required medical instruments and their functions.
Rek took the list and glanced through it. "My medical training mainly focused on battlefield first aid, so I don't know much about high-end topics involving genetics and Alien Species mutations. However, I suggest you add some more equipment.
Didn’t I give you a whole bunch of formulas for Gene Drugs and special function reagents before? Those formulas lack detailed dosages and production methods, so they can't be made directly.
You should take this opportunity to have Starry Glory prepare the instruments needed for researching these Gene Serums and special function reagent formulas. That way, when you come back next time, you can assign some tasks for the researchers in this world to study these reagents. Once they develop detailed production ratios and formulas, we can return to Dark Space World and produce these medicines directly according to the formulas," Rek suggested.
"You want to use the time difference between this world and our Dark Space to develop these formulas. If what you say works, it’s feasible. You mentioned that in this world, a year has passed while only a day has gone by in the Main World.
Although the medical technology level here is somewhat lacking, if I provide some information to the medical and Biology researchers in this world, they will have some ideas after learning from it. Then they can research according to the formulas, which would be much faster than me secretly studying in the medical room of the Dark Space Super Soldier Academy alone.
This method is excellent! I'll add some instruments right away," Moon Goddess said excitedly as she picked up the paper and returned to her desk to start writing again.
After writing for over an hour, the Moon Goddess handed two sheets of paper to Rek.
"Let's go find Elder Starshine and have him take us to the laboratory. I need to explain the required instruments and functions to the four medical and Biology survivors in the lab. Some of the knowledge involved here is too specialized; I doubt Elder Starshine would understand just by looking at my list. If I return to Dark Space, I'm worried that those researchers in this world might misunderstand and ruin the lab I need," the Moon Goddess said.
"Right. Don't tell Starry Glory that some of the equipment is for researching Gene Drugs. Just say that all the equipment is meant to save Elder Starshine. When it comes to developing the drug formula, you can say it's for analyzing and comparing the causes of Elder Starshine's transformation into an Alien Species. If any researchers ask later, just stick to that. Don't worry; these advanced topics will make you their mentor, their deity. They will believe whatever you say," Rek replied.
The Moon Goddess nodded in understanding.
After about ten minutes, the Moon Goddess and Rek went downstairs and saw Elder Starshine floating in the spacious hall at the bottom of the stairs, clearly waiting for their arrival.
"Here you go. This is the equipment that Moon God Doctor worked hard to finalize for your treatment. Prepare according to this; once everything is ready and the laboratory is set up, we will return," Rek handed Elder Starshine two large sheets detailing the instruments and information.
Elder Starshine looked at the numerous pieces of information listed and widened his eyes in surprise.
"So many instruments? Can't there be fewer? And what are all these things for? I can't understand most of what's written here. Getting all this together will take many years! This world probably doesn't have these instruments," Elder Starshine said, somewhat distressed.
Moon Goddess stepped forward, nodded, and said, "Take us to your laboratory. I will explain to the researchers what needs to be written on the required paperwork regarding these functional instruments. When you find the people to manufacture and develop the instruments, the researchers can then inform them of the specific functions needed."
These instruments are essential for the new laboratory. Although there are many facilities here, they are not considered top-tier precision instruments in our world, and their production is of moderate difficulty.
Starry Glory, you have been infected by Alien Species for ten thousand years. Without these instruments, I cannot even thoroughly study your body, let alone treat you and turn you back into a human.
I estimate that according to my requirements, developing the technology of this world will take only ten to twenty years, provided that the research and development process goes smoothly without interruptions. Most of these instruments can be produced within that timeframe.
The remaining ones can be developed over a few more years without any issue.
At most, in thirty years, as long as you are willing to invest and fully support the construction of this laboratory and medical advancements while maintaining the research and development of this high-tech industry, all the equipment on the list can be acquired, and this laboratory can be successfully established." Moon Goddess said informatively to Elder Starshine.
Upon hearing that it would take thirty years, Elder Starshine was somewhat surprised. Although he felt a bit displeased, he did not dare to criticize Moon Goddess, as he now understood that she was likely his only hope for returning to humanity.
Elder Starshine's head floated in the air, remaining silent for a while before speaking, "Fine, thirty years it is. I will strive for twenty years to establish this laboratory.
Let's go. I will head to the underground laboratory now. Moon God Doctor, please explain everything clearly to my researchers. If possible, I hope we can record the session.
Afterward, I will immediately arrange for personnel to find surviving technology and machinery developers and bring them back to my fortress to construct this laboratory." Elder Starshine stated.
More than ten minutes later, Moon Goddess, Starry Glory, and Rek arrived at the underground laboratory.
Inside the underground laboratory, the Four Researchers no longer dared to underestimate Moon Goddess upon seeing her again today.
Yesterday, when Moon Goddess analyzed Starry Head, the Monster Leader, her powerful medical analysis abilities and techniques had already impressed them greatly.
After all, they had checked the head of Elder Starshine many times before, but they could not discern how this skull, which did not appear to belong to any Earth creature, had come to be; there was not even a hint of a clue.
"I am preparing to establish a large laboratory again.
A laboratory that might be the most advanced in your world. It will contain many pieces of equipment that I estimate you four have never even heard of," the head of Elder Starshine said to the four researchers.
"Next, Moon God Doctor will explain the instruments and equipment needed for the laboratory we are going to establish in the future. You all need to take good notes. If you do not clearly understand any required functions, take this opportunity to ask Moon God Doctor while he is present.
Moon Goddess will leave for many years after this, and during this time, you will be the builders of this new laboratory.
You are responsible for establishing the laboratory within these years, and all equipment and functions on the list must be set up. As for the personnel for developing the equipment, I will send them to you later.
You four will guide those equipment engineers in their development direction.
Do not think about slacking off. The reason you survived today and are able to live in the Biochemical Crisis Virus World is because of my rescue.
Even if some of you are already old, your remaining descendants will inherit your work and ensure that this laboratory is built," the head of Elder Starshine said in a cold voice.
The four medical and biology researchers nodded seriously. They understood that based on Elder Starshine's tone, this laboratory project would likely be quite large; if they did not perform well, their ancestors would continue the work.
However, creating such an advanced laboratory was something they all aspired to as experts in medicine and biology. They longed to possess the highest-end laboratory in their lifetime and conduct research within it.
This time, none of the researchers needed a reminder from Elder Starshine. One elderly researcher quickly turned and ran over ten meters, returning with a Recording Equipment from the wall of the laboratory. He placed it in front of Moon Goddess and the others and took out a recording Whiteboard.
"Moon God Doctor, please proceed," the researcher respectfully addressed Moon Goddess.
"First, take a look at the contents on these two sheets of paper, and then I will explain each item to you," said the Moon Goddess, gesturing for Elder Starshine to show the two large sheets filled with descriptions of medical research instruments to the four researchers.
With a thought, Elder Starshine caused the two folded sheets to unfold and float in front of the four researchers.
The Four Researchers focused intently, quickly becoming engrossed in what they were reading, exclaiming things like, "How is this possible!" and "There are instruments like this!"
"Oh my gosh! This concept is amazing!" they marveled.
The Moon Goddess and Rek found a chair nearby and sat down, not wanting to disturb the four.
After more than an hour, the four finally finished reading the two sheets and looked at the Moon Goddess with eyes full of admiration and excitement.
"Moon God Doctor, can we really create the functions of these instruments you have written about? The capabilities in that laboratory are incredible," one Senior Researcher asked, somewhat euphoric.
"Yes, as long as your technological level continues to develop, all of this can be achieved. Now I will explain each function that requires these instruments. As for the manufacturing process, I only know how to use them and some functions; you will need to consult professionals for how to make them," said the Moon Goddess as she walked to the Whiteboard, picked up a black pen, and began to draw.
The Four Researchers and Elder Starshine were all attentively watching the Whiteboard.
"The first instrument is the Cell High-Precision Separation and Purification Instrument. What I know about using this instrument is that it employs a metal component that rotates efficiently in reverse to separate cell tissues. Then, by exposing them to different temperatures and radiation, it extracts the specified cells needed."
This instrument can randomly extract selected cells or cells of the same type from numerous cells for extraction and separation.
It can extract up to three different types of cells and purify them together in a single experiment.
The instrument you are to create has a limitation; it must be able to extract at least three different types of cells simultaneously. Is there anything unclear about this instrument?" the Moon Goddess said.
The Four Researchers nodded, but a look of confusion appeared on their faces.
Then, one of the Cytology researchers spoke up to ask the Moon Goddess—
Throughout the morning, the Moon Goddess spoke extensively, while the Four Researchers occasionally asked questions and took notes.
The morning quickly passed, and the Moon Goddess had not even finished introducing one-third of the large paper she had written about the instrument.
The Four Researchers were now in a highly excited state, captivated by what the Moon Goddess described as the ideal instrument with its magical and comprehensive functions. They were eager to immediately summon someone to create it and test its effects.
"Alright, let's go have lunch and come back this afternoon to continue.
After all, there is still so much left; it seems unlikely we will finish today. The Moon Goddess and I will stay in this world for a few more days, and whenever the Moon Goddess finishes her explanation, we will return," Rek said to Elder Starshine.
Elder Starshine, who was floating in the air, nodded reassuringly upon hearing Rek's words.
