After Master Muya entered the Principal's Office, he spoke with the Yin Yang Principal for over ten minutes to report on the situation. The Yin Yang Principal was also surprised; this type of technological robot should not belong to the Alien Species forces of My Space. He had never heard of such powerful liquid robots existing in the human world before. Although the Star Alliance Military was also developing liquid metal, they did not have the capability to create such combat robots.
"In the next few days, you will stay at the Teacher's Dormitory. When you go out, Rek and Alice, you two need to accompany Maya. This mysterious Liquid Robot is here to kill Maya; this has been confirmed. I will try to send the research department to develop a scanning system to see if the academy can provide radar to scan the Liquid Robot, but I don't have high hopes.
If you encounter the Liquid Robot again, remember to contact me, and I will come directly with people," said the Yin Yang Principal.
Maya nodded and then left the Principal's Office with Rek and Alice.
"Strange, why doesn't this Liquid Robot let me use the Savior Broadcasting Station?" Maya said as she walked. Hearing this, Alice thought of something and looked at Rek.
Rek and Alice did not communicate in front of Master Muya. After escorting Maya back to her teacher's apartment, they thoroughly checked Maya's room to confirm there were no hidden Liquid Robots before leaving.
Downstairs in the teacher's apartment, Alice spoke to Rek: "This situation is very special. I feel that the Liquid Robot that came is from Hua Tuo, but it is not one developed by the current Robot Legion controlled by Hua Tuo. The current Robot Commander of Hua Tuo does not have this technology.
This Liquid Robot should be from the future, sent to kill Maya," Alice said to Rek.
"Your explanation makes sense; the Liquid Robot crossed over from the future, which could explain why it possesses technology far superior to our world.
But why does this Liquid Robot want to kill Maya and tell her not to use the Savior Broadcasting Station?" Rek pondered.
"The answer is obvious. It is likely that in the future, or rather now, Maya continues to use that small broadcasting station you gave her to broadcast the Savior's Declaration. These declarations must pose a threat or have a negative impact on the forces associated with the Liquid Robot in the future.
To eliminate the root cause, they returned to this world—to our world—to kill Maya," Alice explained.
"Ah, if that's the case, then I've put Maya in danger by making her a target. Why do they feel threatened by the Savior's Declaration and that small broadcasting station?" Rek contemplated.
"I initially judge that one possible direction for the future world is that it may be ruled by robotic forces, while human communication is restricted or monitored.
Many humans have lost the courage and goals to live, but Maya is still broadcasting the Savior's Declaration in the future. It seems that her broadcasts with a small radio have united the human forces, and one could say that Maya has truly become a savior in the future," Alice said.
"I'll contact Hua Tuo and see if there's any result," Rek asked.
"That might not be useful. It's best not to tell Hua Tuo. The Liquid Robot in the future is likely part of Hua Tuo's faction. If Hua Tuo finds out about this, he will probably help his future self even more," Alice replied.
"That's true. Let's not inform Hua Tuo. We should first go to the Military Reconnaissance Room and see if we can find a Mechanical Radar to locate the Liquid Robot. We can't let this Liquid Robot stay at the academy; otherwise, Maya will have to face assassination every day," Rek said.
"I feel this is not very meaningful. Even if we kill this one Liquid Robot, as long as the hidden dangers in the future remain unaddressed, there will be a second and third Liquid Robot appearing," Alice stated.
"I have an idea. You go to Maya's Teacher's Dormitory and keep her company. While she's not paying attention, we can destroy that small radio. This way, Maya's future will change, and it's likely that no new Liquid Robots will be sent to kill her anymore. I just need to take care of this one Liquid Robot in the academy," Rek suggested after thinking for a moment.
"I hope your theory of Parallel Space is correct. I'll go find Maya; you be careful. This Liquid Robot is tougher than you think," Alice said.
Rek nodded and headed to the military reconnaissance room of the academy.
Once inside, Rek contacted the Yin Yang Principal and explained his purpose.
Soon after, the Yin Yang Principal communicated with him, instructing the reconnaissance team to assist Rek. However, under the scanning radar of Super Soldier Academy, they found no location of any Liquid Robot. The radar lacked updated equipment and couldn't detect the Liquid Robot at all.
With no other options, Rek had to leave.
Rek started wandering around downstairs from Maya's dormitory building when he received a message from Alice via his Wrist Communicator, saying she had already destroyed the radio.
As Rek was walking near Maya's dormitory building, he saw a long-haired female student heading towards Maya's dormitory.
"Stop right there! What's your name? Do you know who I am?" Rek called out, stopping the female student.
The female student, dressed in her freshman uniform, surprisingly came to the teacher's building, which made Rek feel suspicious.
"You? I don't know you. There are so many students in Super Soldier Academy Fortress; how would I know you? I don't need to tell you anything," the female student replied, rolling her eyes at Rek.
"Alright then!" Rek said, pretending to walk away.
Immediately, Rek activated Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation and plunged the Demon Blade into the female student's abdomen.
Rek was well aware of his own reputation; among the freshmen, he was quite famous. While all freshmen might not recognize other teachers from different classes, they all knew him. If sophomores or seniors failed to recognize him, Rek would find it normal.
The girl in the freshman uniform claimed not to know him and even dared to roll her eyes at him, which made Rek feel that something was off.
As the Demon Blade pierced her, no red blood flowed from the wound; instead, her body began to liquefy as she quickly attempted to retreat, her injury healing rapidly.
"Ding dong! Special metallic liquid energy detected. The War God System can absorb it," a voice echoed in Rek's mind.
"Great! If you can absorb it, I'll stab her a few more times. Hurry up and absorb it," Rek exclaimed excitedly after hearing the War God System's words, swinging the Demon Blade and charging at the Liquid Robot.
The battle continued. Each time the Demon Blade made contact with the Liquid Robot's body, the Genetic Mech quickly absorbed a significant portion of its energy. Any weapon held by the Liquid Robot vanished upon colliding with Rek's Demon Blade.
After exchanging blows for over ten rounds, the Liquid Robot's movement speed began to slow down, and its attacks became weaker.
Nearby students and teachers gathered to watch the fight between Rek and the female student.
"Get back! She's not human; she's a dangerous creature," Rek shouted.
At first, the onlookers did not believe it.
However, it didn't take long for a red laser emitter to grow directly from the arm of the Liquid Robot, which began targeting Rek. Rek quickly dodged, and a nearby Stone Chair was pierced through.
The students and teachers watching now believed that this freshman girl was indeed a liquid robot.
"Don't come over to help; this Liquid Robot can change its form. Stay away from her, and don't let her take on your appearance, or don't blame me for going on a rampage," Rek said.
Upon hearing this, the students and teachers stepped back. A few powerful teachers initiated Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation, surrounding Rek and the Liquid Robot from a distance, ready to intercept if Rek was unable to handle the situation.
Suddenly, three small mobile turrets moved through the sky above Super Soldier Academy.
With three loud bangs, high-energy beams covered the body of the Liquid Robot. The Liquid Robot was vaporized. Rek looked at the floating mobile turrets in the air and realized that the Academy Fortress had likely detected the Liquid Robot and sent help.
Soon after, a broadcast from the Yin Yang Principal echoed in the area.
"All students and teachers, evacuate this area immediately. There is a threat present."
Hearing the principal's words, the students and teachers began to disperse.
Rek went upstairs again and entered Maya's room.
"I just heard explosions outside and the principal's voice. Did you find out if the Liquid Robot killed her?" Alice asked.
"I didn't kill her; however, she has already been reduced to dust by the energy weapons of Academy Fortress. This Liquid Robot is completely dead. Master Muya, take care of your injuries; I doubt any Liquid Robot will attempt to assassinate you again," Rek replied.
"This time I was ambushed; I wasn't aware that there were hidden enemies within the academy. If it had been outside or if I had been on guard, I would have definitely made this Liquid Robot meet its end by my sword," Maya said.
"Got it, Master Muya, you're the best. It's nothing, Alice and I will leave first." Rek said as he left Maya's room with Alice.
Rek and Alice returned to their dormitory, and Rek increasingly felt that something was off about the situation.
At that moment, Rek heard the voice of the War God System in his mind.
"Ding dong, scanning shows that Host is currently rescuing Master Muya, saving Maya, and attempting to eliminate the future Liquid Robot. The life of Maya and the appearance of the Liquid Robot have caused confusion for Host.
Generating War God System series tasks.
Task Name: Chapter Three of the Earth Destruction Series - The Threat of the Robot Empire.
Task Description: Fifty years into the future, robots have dominated the Main Plane of Earth, repelling the Alien Species from Dark Space. The robot forces have become the overlords of Earth, continuously hunting and enslaving humanity.
Task Completion Conditions: Host will travel forty years into the future, at the time when the robot forces have just erupted, preventing them from becoming the most powerful force on Earth for the next twenty years and ensuring humanity is not enslaved. Of course, it would be best if Host could eliminate the robot forces entirely.
Task Failure Conditions: If within twenty years after Host's traversal, the robot forces become the strongest power on the Main Plane of Earth, humanity will be enslaved.
Task Completion Reward: Based on how well Host completes the task and evaluations, corresponding rewards will be given.
Task Failure Punishment: If Host fails and allows the robot forces to become Earth's dominant power, this task will enter an Infinite Loop. Host will re-enter the world forty years into the future; this is an Infinite Loop task because the System has recently gained a lot of energy, hence this special reward for Host.
Friendly Reminder: Killing robots is not the best solution; the robot forces forty years from now are very powerful. In ten seconds, Host will be teleported, and their soul will be sent into this Infinite Loop task.
The time ratio between reality and task world is one second to one year. If you die in the task, it will loop; if so, Host will be reloaded. No need to thank the System." After the voice of the War God System, a countdown appeared before Rek.
Beside him, Alice, noticing Rek's strange expression, asked, "What's wrong?"
“War God System has absorbed too much energy recently. Give me a random mission; I need to execute it. It's the Infinite Loop mission. If you see me able to communicate with you normally in ten seconds, that means the mission is complete. If I don't come back, the one controlling this body should be the War God System. I estimate I might die from exhaustion during the mission,” Rek said quickly.
As soon as he finished speaking, Rek's soul was controlled by the War God System and crossed over, leaving him unable to hear Alice's response.
Just as Rek was feeling relieved, he realized he was still controlling his own body and had entered a world forty years into the future. A scene appeared in Rek's mind: a familiar girl’s silhouette walking toward a Metal Hall. This image was provided by the War God System, and it flashed by in an instant.
Rek found himself in a ruined city, with aircraft conducting airstrikes overhead.
The sound of explosions echoed continuously.
“Quick, hide! The Robot Legion is launching another attack. Get back to the Underground Bunker!” someone shouted from afar.
Rek saw a few scattered people in the city running toward an underground entrance.
He quickly got up and followed them down into the underground entrance.
Upon entering, Rek saw a large Wolfdog tied at the door. Inside the Underground Bunker, he noticed a group of people dressed in tattered clothes hiding in this bunker-like place. There were elderly individuals, children, and young adults, all holding various weapons to some extent.
Along the way, no one spoke to Rek. Many people's eyes were lifeless, devoid of energy and hope.
As Rek continued deeper into this Underground Shelter, the airstrikes continued above. Dust and debris fell within the shelter, and Rek worried that if the airstrikes were too intense, the shelter might collapse.
