At Narita Airport, Xinran and Wujie had just walked out of the gate when they spotted a group of people waiting to pick them up. At the forefront was a woman in her thirties with deep red wavy hair and a well-tailored suit, exuding a contradictory charm.
"Miss Xinran, I am Shinohara Ryo, the sister of Shinohara Zen, the president of Flying Group. It is my honor to meet you today. I have arranged accommodations for you at the hotel during your stay in Japan. Please allow me to take you there," Shinohara Ryo said in clumsy Mandarin, which sounded quite amusing.
"Thank you, Miss Shinohara. However, we would like to choose an Onsen Ryokan to stay at. Do you have any good recommendations?" Xinran asked with a slight smile, speaking fluent Japanese.
"Miss Xinran, I didn't expect your Japanese to be so good. If you want to stay at an Onsen Ryokan, I really have a great recommendation. The hot springs there use authentic mountain spring water; you will definitely love it!" Shinohara Ryo said as she raised her arm to tuck her long hair behind her ear, smiling.
"In that case, please help us, Miss Shinohara!" Xinran nodded slightly toward Shinohara Ryo and pulled Wujie along as they left the airport.
"Miss Xinran, you are too polite. You are our guest, and ensuring your satisfaction is the purpose of hospitality."
After about an hour's drive, Xinran and Wujie arrived at the entrance of the ryokan under Shinohara Ryo's guidance. The place was adorned with antique decorations, nestled by mountains and rivers, surrounded by lush greenery. Although they had not left Tokyo, it felt completely detached from the capital's hustle and bustle, offering a refreshing natural ambiance.
"What do you think? My recommendation was not wrong!" Shinohara Ryo pointed to the ryokan's signboard, where the words Azure Wind Antelope were carved on an old wooden plank.
"Azure Silk Collar—does it evoke my heart?" Xinran instantly fell in love with the poetic charm of the ryokan's owner. The evening sun cast its glow in front of the ryokan, and she thought that this journey in Japan would surely bring her joy. It had been over a decade since her last visit to Japan, and she never expected such a delightful surprise on her first day.
"Let's go inside! I'll show you around my ryokan; I believe you'll like it even more!" Shinohara Ryo winked playfully at Xinran.
"Your ryokan?" Xinran asked in surprise. "Miss Shinohara, you truly are full of surprises! Flying Group is one of the top cosmetic companies in Japan; I didn't expect you to also run such a beautiful ryokan!"
"Please don't misunderstand, the Flying Group belongs to my brother and has nothing to do with me. As for myself, besides this hotel, I also have properties in Ginza. If there's a chance in the future, I must take you to see them!" Shinohara Ryo said with a mysterious smile. She had been tasked by Young Master Si to welcome his woman, and to be honest, she really wanted to take Summer to the Azure Wind Antelope in Ginza, just to let Duan Ruyin see and accept his defeat.
They bet one million. She said that Young Master Si must have feelings for Summer, but Duan Ruyin claimed that Young Master Si's concern for that woman was merely revenge against his brother. After all, it was no secret that Young Master Si harbored resentment towards his brother's mother. However, Shinohara Ryo was not just any woman; she had seen all kinds of men. From the phone call where Young Master Si instructed her to pick up Summer, she could tell that Young Master Si had a subtle affection for Summer, which, although not very obvious, did not escape her ears!
This time, Duan Ruyin could forget about backing out; she was sure of her victory and could only wait and see!

"There definitely will be," Shinohara Ryo replied with a hint of meaning in her words. She wasn't sure how far things had progressed between Summer and Young Master Si at the moment, but she was certain that Young Master Si was secretly casting his net. When the time came to reel it in, Summer would surely find it hard to escape!
"This place is really beautiful..." The three of them chatted as they walked to the entrance of the Hot Spring. The outdoor hot spring was surrounded by lush greenery, and the sky above was slightly darkening. Xinran took a gentle breath and murmured.
"Then after dinner, we must come here to enjoy this mountain hot spring!"
