Under the high-profile signing news of Xinran and Sky Media, the rumors quickly dissipated like smoke. At first, she was a bit worried that what happened at the press conference would be wildly misreported by the paparazzi. However, when various news articles were published, Xinran suddenly felt that heaven seemed to be favoring her, as the content written by the paparazzi surprisingly all sided with her, depicting Xia Wenjing as a madwoman in a united front against her. This was something she never dared to imagine. 0

"Are you up?" Mu Shaosi asked coldly, glancing up from his newspaper as he sat at the dining table, one hand holding a coffee cup. 0

"Yes," Xinran nodded and sat down beside Mu Shaosi. She was wearing pajamas, and on her bare skin visible outside the pajamas were a series of ambiguous red marks, hinting at how intense their night had been. 0

"Have breakfast," Mu Shaosi said straightforwardly, handing her a cup filled with milk and placing a plate of toasted bread in front of her. 0

"But I want coffee!" Xinran replied as she took the milk but stared longingly at the coffee pot beside Mu Shaosi's arm. She disliked drinking milk, especially in the morning. 0

"No coffee in the morning," Mu Shaosi said firmly without looking at her. 0

"But you?" Was this different treatment? She could smell the enticing aroma of coffee wafting through the air, making her restless, especially since it was her favorite Irish Coffee scent, yet it was right in front of her but out of reach. 0

"Hey, why did you throw away the newspaper?" Suddenly, Xinran noticed a crumpled newspaper in the trash can by her feet. Curiously, she picked it up and opened it; it turned out to be today's paper. She hesitated and looked at Mu Shaosi, who seemed uninterested and continued reading his own newspaper. 0

"If I don't want to see it, of course I'll throw it away!" After a moment, Mu Shaosi replied coldly. 0

"The paparazzi from Seven Weekly actually captured this scene! I remember when Xia Wenjing poured gasoline on stage; everyone screamed and chaos ensued. I didn't expect there would be such brave paparazzi!" Xinran smoothed out the newspaper and looked seriously at it. The large photo featured prominently in the center surprised her; it captured Augus protecting her in his arms. The bold black headline read: "Madwoman Storms Venue, Hero Saves Beauty; Reconciliation Expected After Breakup Announcement!" 0

The "as" was a nickname given by fans who supported her and Augus getting back together. What surprised Xinran even more was that because of Augus's actions during the press conference and how he shielded her, fans suddenly became very supportive of them. Wasn't this amusing? When they had just announced their relationship, there had been a wave of dissent; yet after their breakup, a large group of fans emerged hoping for their reconciliation. It felt like a comedy scene where she was both an actor and an audience member! 0

"Have breakfast!" Mu Shaosi suddenly reached out, snatching the crumpled newspaper from Xinran's hand, tearing it into shreds in a few swift motions, and tossing it back into the trash can. 0

"Hey, you..." Xinran looked at Mu Shaosi's actions in confusion, feeling a bit frustrated. What was this man doing? Was he angry? He had been acting strangely since earlier. What had the newspaper done to upset him? Or was it the photo... 0

Suddenly, Xinran realized that Mu Shaosi might be unhappy about the photo of Shaoyang holding her in his arms. Or perhaps he was annoyed by the paparazzi speculating about their reconciliation? He was jealous, wasn't he? A smile crept onto Xinran's lips; she preferred to think of him as being jealous. She didn't want to verify it; this thought was already wonderful, wasn't it? 0

"What are you doing?" Mu Shaosi asked as he saw Xinran stand up and head back to the bedroom. 0

"Changing clothes to go to the company!" Xinran's voice floated out just before she closed the door. 0

"You haven't eaten breakfast." Mu Shaosi frowned, looking at the untouched milk. He never worried about a woman lacking nutrition; she was the first one who made him feel this way, yet she was also the one who took it for granted! 0

"I’m not used to drinking milk for breakfast, and I'm in a good mood—so good that I can't eat!" Xinran said with a laugh, pulling open the door while covering herself with her pajamas. 0
