On a sunny morning, Xinran was cooking breakfast in the open kitchen of their seaside villa. Ever since she remarried Mu Shaosi, they had moved here to live, although they occasionally returned to Japan to visit Old Master and let him feel her belly, where the Little One was eagerly waiting to come out.
On their wedding day, she discovered that she was pregnant. Initially, when Mu Shaosi asked her to bear him an heir, she was very resistant. However, after coming to terms with her feelings and welcoming this baby, her heart, which had always felt insecure, found a sense of calm. Now, every day she felt happy, with a beloved baby and a deeply loved husband—happiness she had never imagined.
“Wife, why aren’t you sleeping a bit longer?” Mu Shaosi came out of the bedroom in his pajamas and walked up behind Xinran, embracing her.
“I just woke up because the baby kicked me,” Xinran turned her face slightly so Mu Shaosi's kiss landed on her cheek, filled with sweetness.
“This Little One actually dared to kick my wife; how outrageous.”
“Mu Shaosi, this outrageous Little One is your son. Be careful; if you treat him poorly now, he might not want anything to do with you when he comes out!”
“Do I care? If it weren’t for him, would I be enduring this hardship? His timing couldn’t be better!” Mu Shaosi's restless hand slipped under Xinran's pajamas, caressing her increasingly full bosom.
“Stop it.” Xinran’s face flushed suddenly as she held Mu Shaosi's hand back through her pajamas.
“Wife, you need to know that I’ve been holding back for a long time. Didn’t the doctor say to be cautious during the first three months? It’s already almost six months; do I still have to hold back?” Mu Shaosi leaned close to Xinran’s ear and nibbled on her earlobe.
“Pervert!” Xinran shot him a sideways glance. “Aren’t men supposed to find pregnant women unattractive? They usually don’t even want to look at them much less touch them. Why are you so different? With how I look right now…”
“Wife, what are you talking about? Do you even realize how beautiful you are in my eyes? Don’t say touch; if it weren’t for needing to take care of the Little One, I would never let you get out of bed. God knows how much I want you!”
"I'm telling you!" Xinran smiled, her lips curving up. They say a man's sweet words are not to be trusted, but for some reason, she couldn't help but ponder every word this man said, especially his romantic lines.
"How about we skip breakfast today, okay, my wife?" Mu Shaosi's hand resting on Xinran's chest did not move away; it simply slid down, creeping toward her slightly protruding abdomen and then continuing downward.
"What do you want to do?" Xinran asked, trembling slightly and feeling a bit dazed.
Mu Shaosi reached out with his other hand to turn off the coffee machine that was still working and turned Xinran around. "Of course, I want to eat you, my dear wife!" After saying that, he supported Xinran as they walked into the bedroom he had just exited, slowly lifting her up and placing her on the bed as if she were a rare treasure, his eyes worshipping her from head to toe.
He gently untied the knot of her nightgown, and Mu Shaosi's gaze grew deeper. He climbed onto the bed, trying hard not to press down on Xinran as he caressed her, gradually stirring her feelings for him...
"Wife, we will love each other deeply for a lifetime!" He entered her, filling her softness while softly sighing in her ear.
Xinran's melodious moans echoed throughout the bedroom like a beautiful song. Perhaps she didn't hear his promise, but their love was not bound by momentary vows; it would last for a long time, until forever!
