As a reader, I didn't know what a "Satisfaction Point" was. The reason I read books is simple: as long as the story isn't too far-fetched and the plot is decent, I can keep going. From this perspective, a setup that can attract readers' interest should be considered a "Satisfaction Point." 0

When I started writing myself, I realized that the so-called "Satisfaction Point" is actually quite difficult to achieve. How can one touch the high points of readers? Only by applying the right force and technique can one provide the most exhilarating pleasure. This is a profound art; without years of experience or exceptional talent, it is hard to accomplish. This is also why only a few, like deities, stand at the top of the pyramid. 0

Someone who cannot reach their own high points cannot possibly bring pleasure to others; this is a small realization I've had. 0

My first book was about history, completely inspired by patterns, and without an outline, which made the writing process very challenging. I barely managed to maintain over a million words before having to hastily conclude it. 0

Writing is a difficult process to persist in, much like performing passionately for a woman who offers no feedback and even absentmindedly asks, "Did you go in?" 0

This is quite a sad situation, which is why many people end up with unfinished works. The saying "to the victor belong the spoils" is easy to say but hard to do. Without an audience on stage, how can any actor feel excitement? So it's only natural to express some sentiment; it's human nature, and even eunuchs have no shame. 0

This is my second book. To be honest, after writing over a million words, I still haven't found any shortcuts in web novels. I'm still writing blindly as before—writing stories and about life. The only progress I've made is that my prose flows a bit better than before and my typing speed has increased; nothing more. 0

I tend to be somewhat muddled; writing brings both pain and joy. I can build a world and write stories according to my preferences. In those stories, I am the ruler with absolute power, yet outside of them, I feel quite lonely. This stark contrast reflects the reality of struggling authors. 0

Why do I write? I'm not entirely sure. My college life was quite idle, so naturally, I needed something to do. Many people play games or take jobs, but I chose to write, believing I had some literary talent. Thus, inadvertently, I embarked on this irreversible path. 0

Initially, I wrote historical fiction about the Three Kingdoms—superficial and inspired by patterns. I used to look down on beginner-level writing, but when it came time for me to write, I couldn't help but fall into that category myself; there was no way around it due to my limited skills. 0

After finishing my first book, I realized that history wasn't suitable for me anymore. After much contemplation, I decided to switch genres for my second book and ventured into science fiction. 0

At that time, an idea flashed through my mind, leading me to consider starting this new project, which I then set out to realize. 0

I wanted to say something profound, but I realized I lack that depth, so I'll just add one last casual remark. 0

This book cannot really be classified as Science Fiction; it merely borrows a post-apocalyptic Zombie backdrop. The main focus is still on people and the story. Brother Three prefers a realistic writing style, so this book essentially follows a realistic path, depicting the survival journey of a group of ordinary people in a world gone awry, somewhat akin to the American series The Walking Dead. 0

At that moment, I impulsively started this project, and looking back now, it feels quite risky. Would I say I've never read a Science Fiction book before? 0

After writing nearly one hundred thousand words, I feel like I've touched upon some of my own high points. The post-apocalyptic setting is quite similar to the isolated island scenario in Robinson Crusoe. The reason the author placed Robinson on an island was to showcase humanity's most primitive survival instincts and the simplest, most brutal self-preservation. It needs to be vivid and realistic; that's the unique aspect of post-apocalyptic literature. Robinson encounters savages on his island and has Friday for companionship. In contrast, post-apocalyptic stories often feature Zombies as enemies and fellow survivors as companions. Therefore, my approach is to closely mimic Defoe's writing style, using the most authentic tone to portray a survival story set against a post-apocalyptic backdrop, without any hint of science fiction! 0
