The body of the Zombie lying on the ground had been flipped over by Zhang Li, and the black blood gushing from the severed head was quite terrifying. However, the men present had seen their fair share of things and did not react too violently.
Li Nan, although the youngest among them, had experienced quite a bit in the Underground Morgue, and with his medical background, witnessing such a horrifying scene did not faze him much.
The Zombie was wearing a nylon jacket that had already turned yellow, likely stained with too much blood. On the back of the jacket were several large characters written prominently.

Zhang Li kicked aside the Zombie's head that had rolled on the ground and bent down to examine the jacket, murmuring, "Is this Liu Heping's doing?"
Seeing the words on the back of the jacket, Li Nan's first reaction was one of dread. If Liu Heping had indeed kidnapped Mo Xiaohui, then Liu Ziming would not be in a better situation either. This implied that after Zhang Li and the others emerged from underground, all their actions were under Liu Heping's control!
This realization was absolutely chilling!
Li Nan thought about how the main control panel for the Hot Water Room was also on the eleventh floor, and all surveillance footage from public areas in the hospital converged there. This meant that everything Zhang Li and Li Nan were doing was basically under Liu Heping's watchful eye!
Li Nan felt a surge of anxiety. If Liu Heping's actions were truly aimed at them, then his ambition was incredibly audacious!
Han Guang noticed something was off with Li Nan and said to him, "For now, we need to stay calm. We must not let Liu Heping find another opportunity; otherwise, it will be truly disastrous!"
Li Nan raised his head and gave a wry smile at a camera in the corridor, saying, "If Liu Heping is currently on the eleventh floor, then those remaining Zombies are definitely there too. It won't be easy to deal with them, especially since Mo Xiaohui is still in his hands. We have no chance of winning!"
Han Guang followed Li Nan's gaze upward and understood what he meant when he spotted a small surveillance camera. It was clear that turning things around would be extremely difficult!
Zhang Li mouthed a question to Li Nan: "Can this thing hear sounds?"
Though he didn't speak out loud, Li Nan had not studied oral communication but could guess what Han Guang would ask. He nodded to indicate that the surveillance system used in Jiangbei Hospital could not only monitor but also listen!
Han Guang's expression became unnatural; clearly, the severity of their situation exceeded his expectations. Who would have thought that such a scenario akin to a spy movie would unfold within a medical system?
At this moment, Li Xiaofan asked, "What do we do now?"
Zhang Li did not speak, while Han Guang forced a smile and said, "The current situation is somewhat complicated. We need to retreat back to the Hot Water Room and carefully study how to respond!"
Li Xiaofan was taken aback. "We just came out of there, and now we have to go back? Didn't Li Nan say it was dangerous inside?"
Li Nan frowned. "The effects of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide evaporate particularly quickly at high temperatures. Based on the dosage mixed in the blood mark, it should evaporate completely in about two minutes. So returning to the Hot Water Room right now shouldn't pose any problems!"
Zhang Li also had doubts, but given the current situation, it was clear that their actions were fully understood by the other side. In this case, they had lost the initiative, and Liu Heping had even suggested a change of personnel, so they needed to discuss it carefully!
Since both Li Nan and Han Guang wanted to retreat back to the Hot Water Room, and there was indeed no better plan at the moment, Zhang Li agreed with their decision.
"Alright! Let's head back to the Hot Water Room!" Zhang Li kicked a Zombie corpse lying on the ground and casually stripped off its jacket.

Actually, Zhang Li wanted to confirm one thing: with all that Liu Heping had done in Jiangbei Hospital, did he have any accomplices? Was he acting alone or conspiring with others? This was very important.
Zhang Li still had doubts. "What exactly is Liu Heping trying to achieve with all this?"
Li Nan wanted to avoid this question, but given the current situation, not clarifying it could lead to unnecessary disputes. Just as Li Nan was about to speak up, Han Guang interjected, "Now that Liu Ziming and Mo Xiaohui are both in Liu Heping's hands, what should we do?"
Zhang Li frowned; he had never expected someone within the medical system could be so underhanded. However, one of his brothers was currently in danger, and they did not hold the initiative.
Li Xiaofan expressed skepticism. "Perhaps Liu Heping is deceiving us. As Li Nan said, Liu Ziming and Mo Xiaohui have likely been safely placed in the first-floor lobby; I believe there won't be any issues there. So this situation might evolve into what happened in the Underground Morgue; we might have been completely fooled!"
Li Nan shook his head. "There are surveillance cameras outside; the entire floor is covered. The main Control Room is on the eleventh floor, so our movements are likely under Liu Heping's watchful eye. Therefore, it wouldn't take much effort for him to take Mo Xiaohui and Liu Ziming!"
Thinking of this, Li Nan was surprised. "Maybe Liu Ziming isn't actually in Liu Heping's hands!"
Zhang Li was alarmed. "What do you mean?"
Li Nan's expression darkened. "Perhaps Liu Ziming has already encountered danger! Considering the time I left the lobby on the first floor, there was only enough time for Liu Heping to abduct Mo Xiaohui. Although Liu Ziming's condition has improved, he is still in a coma. Liu Heping wouldn't have the ability to take him as well, so it's very likely that Liu Ziming has... been killed!"
Zhang Li's face turned tense, clearly understanding that given Liu Heping's ruthless nature, it was unquestionable that he would kill Liu Ziming if he had no further use.

Zhang Li's anger flared. "Then what can we do to avenge Liu Ziming?"
Li Nan replied resolutely, "To avenge our brother and rescue Mo Xiaohui, I believe we only have one option now—go in alone!"
Zhang Li was taken aback. "What do you mean?"
Li Nan explained, "Guan Erge went to meet Lu Su alone; I want to be a hero just this once!"
