Li Nan turned back into the Small Buildings and had not taken a few steps when he ran into Mouse.
Mouse greeted him, "Hello, Brother Nan!"
Li Nan nodded and tried to sidestep, but Mouse blocked his way. "Brother Nan, I want to talk to you about something!"
Li Nan nodded, "What is it? Go ahead!"
Mouse smiled and said, "The second day of next month is Brother Long's birthday. I want to give him a big gift, but Brother Long is such an important person, and I have nothing valuable to offer!"
Hearing this, Li Nan shook his head. "You've got the wrong person. I'm even poorer than you; I can't help you!"
Mouse waved his hand. "Brother Nan, you're misunderstanding me. I may be poor, but I know a place that has a lot of good stuff. The only problem is that I'm too weak to bring anything back. If Brother Nan is willing to help me get that stuff, we can split it fifty-fifty. What do you think?"
Li Nan was taken aback. "What good stuff could make you so obsessed?"
Mouse sighed with a bitter smile. "It's not anything too great; it's just some tanks over at Jiangbei Hospital. Brother Long has been eyeing them for a long time. If Brother Nan can manage to bring those tanks back, Brother Long would be extremely happy!"
Li Nan shook his head. "That's too dangerous. I know that place; there used to be a small military unit stationed there, but now it's all turned into Zombies. It's really what you call a Zombie Legion. Are you willing to take that risk?"
"I wouldn't dare go alone, but if Brother Nan is willing to help, it would definitely be easy for you!"
Li Nan dismissed it lightly. "You're overestimating me; I can't handle something like that either!"
Upon hearing this, Mouse sighed. "Then forget it; it seems my good intentions will have to come from somewhere else!"
As Mouse watched Li Nan leave, he muttered to himself, "I heard from some brothers that there's a Survivor hovering around near Jiangbei Hospital. He's quite capable and always appears and disappears mysteriously. However, according to my brother, he once saw that guy and recognized him as a former police officer!"
Li Nan paused and turned back to ask Mouse, "Did your brother see that Survivor? Does he know his name?"
Mouse laughed and said, "My brother can't remember clearly; he just mentioned that the guy seems to be the Captain of Jiangbei Police Station!"
Li Nan was taken aback and immediately asked, "Where is your brother now?"
The Rat shrugged his shoulders and replied, "My brother died a long time ago, that would be Zhang Hai!"
Li Nan's heart jolted; he sensed something was off. At this point, it was clear that the Rat was trying to deceive him. However, after thinking it over, he couldn't understand how the Rat could possibly know about Han Guang!
Li Nan hesitated and said, "In this apocalypse, there are only a few Survivors; it's not surprising!"
The Rat agreed, "Indeed, but that Survivor has been hovering around Jiangbei Hospital alone, which is quite strange!"
Li Nan dismissed it, "What's so strange about that?"
The Rat explained, "There are no resources near Jiangbei Hospital, nor any barriers; it's not suitable as a hiding place at all. Yet that Survivor has some skills but refuses to leave. Don't you think that's odd?"
Li Nan chuckled bitterly, "In this era, there are plenty of mentally ill people, so it's not surprising!"
"Yes! There are indeed many mentally ill people in this era!"
Li Nan did not continue the topic and instead turned back to the Small Buildings.
The Rat also did not say much more; the topic had been clarified, so he kept silent.
As the Rat continued walking forward, he happened to see Li Dapeng and Xin Qiqi practicing with their guns!
The Rat lightly cleared his throat. When Xin Qiqi turned around and saw the Rat, she immediately lowered her head and said, "Greetings, Rat Brother!"
Li Dapeng completely ignored the so-called Rat Brother and focused on fiddling with his German Walther.
The Rat nodded and then turned away without saying anything.
In the Small Buildings, Li Nan sat alone on the sofa, lost in thought. He couldn't understand the meaning behind the words that Rat had just spoken. Did he want to lead him near Jiangbei Hospital? Or was Rat's intention merely to flatter Brother Long with a few tanks?
The developments had completely exceeded Li Nan's expectations. And what about that Rat? How did he know about his connection with Han Guang? If he didn't know, then why would he mention the Survivor? Moreover, was the story about that Survivor who resembled Han Guang really true?
In an instant, all these questions crashed into Li Nan's mind, and he felt overwhelmed. "What the hell is going on?"

Today, Brother Three wasn't wearing a jacket but had changed into a bright coat, still looking very capable.

Brother Three chuckled warmly. "It doesn't matter; it's just a title. Call me whatever you like!"
"Still prefer Brother Three; it sounds friendlier!" Li Nan took the cigarette but couldn't find a lighter on him and had to ask Brother Three for help.
Brother Three pulled out a lighter from his pocket and said leisurely, "What are you thinking? You look quite troubled!"
A flame shot out from the lighter, just igniting the cigarette held in his mouth, and Li Nan said, "It's nothing much, just that Big Brother and Second Brother both sent me a woman, which... is a bit hard to handle!"
