Just as Fatty was laughing heartily, Li Nan's face suddenly turned serious, and the Feathered Arrow that had pierced the man's left eye was swiftly pulled out!
As the Feathered Arrow came out, it brought along the black-and-white eyeball, and in an instant, blood gushed from the hollow eye socket on the man's face!
Li Nan shook off the remnants on the Feathered Arrow and then directly inserted it back into the quiver. He turned around to pick up a small mirror that had fallen on the ground!
The small mirror looked quite ordinary, about the size of a palm, with a piece of paper attached to its back. It seemed that this type of mirror was quite popular over a decade ago. It was unclear what use this man had for such an item hidden on him!
Li Nan held the small mirror in his palm and turned it towards the sunlight. Suddenly, a strong beam of light fell onto Fatty's face.

Li Nan nodded, stopping their words. He then turned to the one-eyed man who had lost an eyeball and shouted, "Speak! If you don’t clearly explain things today, I might spare you, but my brothers won’t!"
The man’s expression hardened; he looked defiant as if he were a dead pig not afraid of boiling water. He almost said, "Go ahead and use whatever tricks you have; I won’t say a word about my party's secrets!"
This One-Eyed Man stubbornly played tough and refused to say anything. However, Fatty was not known for his patience. Seeing this situation, he laughed and said, "Don’t worry if you don’t talk; we have eighty-one ways to make you die. It looks like the sun is bright enough today; let’s try them out one by one. How about that?"
As he spoke, Fatty aimed his Submachine Gun directly at the man's lower body and fired a bullet. With a loud "wow," the man trembled all over as if his vital parts had been sliced off; in fact, it was pretty close to that!
Despite looking harmless most of the time, when Fatty got serious, he proved to be quite capable!
Fatty blew away the smoke from the gun's muzzle and chuckled, "This is just the beginning! If you can’t hold on any longer, just tell us. Anyway, we won’t listen; it’s all the same whether you speak or not!"
The man looked like a big-headed shrimp, hunched over and trembling. It seemed that in the old days, taking a life was a skilled job; if the knife was even slightly off, it could cost someone their life!
However, Fatty had no such worries. He only knew that when a bullet was fired, it would instantly generate a lot of heat. He figured that when the bullet entered, it would directly block the blood vessels, so it wouldn't actually kill anyone!
Seeing that the man still had a stubborn look on his face, Fatty became even angrier. "Looks like this trick isn't enough; let me give you something more intense!"
Fatty then used the muzzle of his submachine gun to push down the man's pants and aimed the gun directly at his rear. "If I pull the trigger, I bet it'll be a mess right away!"
The man's face turned pale with fear. It seemed he had never encountered such methods from Fatty before, but he still gritted his teeth and refused to say a word.
Fatty chuckled bitterly, "Alright! Today I'll put in some effort and give everyone a show of golden poop all over the city!"
Just as Fatty was about to act, Li Nan stopped him. "Don't make it so disgusting; let me ask him!"
Hearing Li Nan's words, Fatty felt quite disappointed and withdrew his gun, cursing at the man, "You got lucky this time; otherwise, I would have made you suffer!"
Fatty stood behind Li Nan with his gun lowered, while Lin Hai quietly asked Fatty, "Do you really have eighty-one ways to kill someone?"
Fatty tilted his head. "Nonsense! I'm a good person; I wouldn't know how to do that—just trying to scare him!"
At this moment, Lin Hai couldn't help but chuckle. "But you do have quite the talent for breaking bones and causing pain!"
Fatty tilted his neck and replied, "Let me see what tricks Brother Nan has up his sleeve!"
Li Nan approached the man with a smile on his face. "Since you refuse to say anything, let me take a guess and see if I'm right!"
Li Nan cleared his throat and said, "As I expected, you are the one who set me up before at Jiangbei Hospital. At that time, we were hiding in the armored vehicle, trying to evade that Gorilla. It was you who cleverly used a small mirror to attract that Gorilla. You wanted to harm me, didn't you?"
The man was basically out of options. After being insulted by Fatty, he felt even more like ending his own life. However, at that moment, he couldn't move his hands or lift his legs; he didn't even have the chance to seek death.
Seeing that the man intended to bite his tongue to end his life, Li Nan laughed loudly and said, "Who told you that biting your tongue can lead to death? But you can certainly give it a try and see if you can die after biting off your tongue!"
The man hesitated slightly, and just then, Li Nan pressed on, "I suspect you've wanted to kill me for quite some time now. The man's face showed signs of pain, but this statement seemed to shock him into alertness, as if it truly struck a nerve.
Seeing an opportunity, Li Nan continued, "You tracked me down to Jiangbei Hospital and then followed me here to High-Tech Park. Who do you work for? Who sent you to kill me? Liu Long or Gao Hu?"
After saying this, the man's expression remained indifferent; it seemed he didn't know the two people Li Nan mentioned. Li Nan quickly changed his question, "You're not one of Big Brother's or Second Brother's men?"
At this moment, Fatty shouted from behind, "He isn't even from the camp! I've never seen him before!"
Upon hearing Fatty's words, Li Nan ruled out Liu Long and Gao Hu from the camp. But aside from them, did he have any other enemies who wanted him dead?
Li Nan racked his brain but couldn't figure out why this man wanted to kill him. Could it be some deep-seated grudge from a past life?

The man spat blood from his mouth, and upon hearing Li Nan's words, he raised his head and said, "So what if it is? So what if it isn't?"
Li Nan smiled bitterly and replied, "If that's the case, then I should know who you are. But there's one thing I don't understand: I clearly killed that Ogre in my apartment, so how could you possibly be alive?"
The man's expression suddenly changed, and seeing this, Li Nan realized he had guessed correctly. At this point, it was easier to deduce. The warehouse door had been opened only in the first few days of the apocalypse, and during those days, Li Nan and Mo Xiaohui had not encountered anyone else except for the Ogre hiding in his apartment. Throughout it all, Li Nan had never seen the Ogre's face, so he couldn't be sure that the person before him was indeed the cannibalistic monster he had slain.
Li Nan could understand and accept that people turned into Zombies or various plants and animals mutated into monsters, but the idea of someone coming back to life was simply impossible. Therefore, he did not believe that the man before him was the same cannibalistic monster from before. He countered, "Are you his accomplice?"
Upon hearing Li Nan refer to his brother as a cannibalistic monster, the man roared in anger, "He was my brother! You killed my brother, so I want to kill you for revenge. Ever since that incident in the apartment, I've been following you and that woman, trying several times to strike but never finding the opportunity. Finally, when I thought I had a chance, you managed to escape safely each time. I can't accept this; I must kill you myself to avenge my brother. Unfortunately... I still failed in the end!"
Li Nan sighed and said, "Your brother committed crimes and brought about his own demise. I merely acted as an agent of justice. It's unfortunate that a big man like you fears nothing in this apocalypse yet is burdened by such a brother."
The man's single eye widened in fury. "You threw my brother off a high building! He was devoured by Zombies until there was nothing left! Shouldn't I seek revenge? Shouldn't I?"
A seemingly random person had unexpectedly brought up a case from long ago, which truly surprised Li Nan. However, this person's appearance did explain several previous mysteries, making it somewhat beneficial.
Li Nan closed his eyes, seemingly feeling pity for the man before him. "Let me ask you one last question; I'll give you a straightforward answer. Near Jiangbei Hospital, did you see a Sly-eyed Man? Is he dead or alive?"
