At the dining table, the three of them exchanged glances, creating a tense atmosphere.
When Lingdang'er’s gaze landed on Li Nan, he immediately sensed something was wrong. He quickly shifted his attention to Mo Xiaohui, fearing that a serious incident might occur.
Li Nan looked at Mo Xiaohui, while she alternated her gaze between Lingdang'er and Li Nan, anxious that if she missed a moment, something significant might happen.
Seeing that the atmosphere was off, Li Nan coughed lightly and said, "Um, Lingdang'er, if you have something to say, just say it. Don't hold back, but don't speak carelessly either; otherwise, I won't have peace!"

Mo Xiaohui hugged Lingdang'er, and for a moment, the two women were in tears, as if they were parting forever.
Li Nan smiled and said, "Don't be like this. It's a good thing that Lingdang'er can express her feelings. Now that the clouds have cleared and the moon is bright, you should be happy!"
Mo Xiaohui felt this made sense and immediately said to Lingdang'er, "Don't cry. If that Fatty dares to treat you poorly in the future, just come tell me, and I'll make sure to take care of him!"

Just as Li Nan was about to finish his cigarette, he suddenly heard footsteps coming from across the way.

The footsteps were light, and as the sound grew closer, it gradually revealed itself to be a child.
Li Nan extinguished his cigarette and stepped on it, then said to the person in front of him, "Li Dapeng, you're back!"
The figure in front of Li Nan suddenly paused. Upon realizing it was Li Nan, the person didn't speak but lightly nodded his head in response.
Li Nan grinned widely, his smile bright but silent. He then turned and headed towards the Small Buildings.
Li Dapeng followed behind Li Nan, their shadows—one large and one small—overlapping together.
At that moment, a gust of wind suddenly blew behind them. The heavy clouds in the sky parted, revealing a round moon the size of a grinding disc. It turned out that it wasn't a moonless night; rather, the full moon had been obscured by clouds. Now, with the sudden wind, the clouds dispersed, and the bright moon reappeared.
A beautiful scene of harmony under the moonlight marked a small perfection in life.
