Actually, there is a purpose behind the way Xin Yi is queuing. Big Bull, Qin Dali, and he are positioned differently in the line. In front of Big Bull are two department managers known as Glasses Man, while in front of Qin Dali are two female staff members and Wang Fang. Xin Yi stands at the back of the line, with Shu Rui and two other female staff members in front of him. This formation ensures that in case of any unexpected situation, they can promptly assist those around them who are defenseless.
When they reached the cars, Xin Yi directed the group to split into three vehicles, following the same formation he had arranged. This way, it at least ensured that no accidents would occur in the cars. The man did not oppose Xin Yi's arrangement; to him, Xin Yi seemed like a genuinely good person. Being kidnapped yet cooperating so well with the kidnappers made such a good person hard to find, so he decided to let Xin Yi take charge.
The man felt quite pleased with himself, having completed the task assigned by his boss without even lifting a finger. He ordered the convoy to turn on their double flashing lights and headed towards the outskirts. Their destination was a disco bar located in the suburban area. Such places on the edge of urban and rural areas are notorious for their chaotic security; it would be unusual if no lives were lost in these regions each year. Therefore, these disco bars are essentially breeding grounds for crime—over money, women, drugs, and more. Every night, if there aren’t several violent incidents occurring, it would seem out of character since many people come specifically to watch fights.
Inside the disco, deafening music blared as colorful men and women danced wildly. Very few noticed that Xin Yi and his group were being taken upstairs. A few drunken men spotted beautiful women in the crowd and lewdly whistled as they tried to approach but were quickly driven away by several burly men.
The group was taken to the third floor, which was an abandoned level. In the empty space stood a table where two overweight men sat—Jin Yuhua from Jinhua Group and Huang Dafa, whose face was swollen like a pig's head. The two were grinning as they watched Xin Yi and the others being brought in. Once everyone was inside, Jin Yuhua said to the man, “Jin Ke, you’ve worked hard. Leave ten brothers here; you take the others out for a late-night snack!”
“Yes, big brother. That… can we eat as much as we want?” Jin Ke asked foolishly.
“Hahaha… Today you’ve done well; eat your fill! Afterward, I’ll reimburse you! Hahaha…” Jin Yuhua said loudly.
“Thank you, big brother!” Jin Ke replied happily before turning to Pervert and saying, “Old Five, you stay with ten men; everyone else come with me for a late-night snack!” After saying this, he led the remaining people down cheerfully. Of course, before leaving, someone remembered to pull down the roll-up door at the exit. Once pulled down, it effectively blocked out the noise from below and securely locked everyone inside.
Jin Yuhua seemed to disregard Shu Rui and her group entirely and turned to Huang Dafa saying, “My cousin here had a fever when he was young that messed up his brain; all he knows is how to eat. If you give him a woman, he wouldn’t know what to do with her. Luckily he’s with me; otherwise, he’d starve without even realizing it.” He sighed dramatically afterward to showcase his compassion.
“Jin Zong is indeed kind-hearted! I admire you!” Huang Dafa said with a thumbs-up, expressing his sentiments.
Their banter created a bit of atmosphere; if only some tragic music played in the background, they could easily be seen as contemporary philanthropists.
They avoided discussing serious matters while Shu Rui remained silent, watching them perform their act coldly. After a few minutes, it was Huang Dafa who could no longer sit still and kept signaling Jin Yuhua with his eyes. Only then did Jin Yuhua slowly say, “President Shu, I’ve told you before that a beautiful woman should stay home to support her husband and raise children; it’s not good for her to be out here making a name for herself. Look at what trouble she’s in now?”
“Cut the nonsense; what do you want?” Shu Rui replied coldly.
“Ah! President Shu is indeed straightforward! That’s how one should handle things! So I’ll get straight to the point: today your people injured my brother; what do you think we should do about this?”
"Yeah! That bastard hit me so hard that he knocked out several of my teeth! Yes, it's that guy!" Huang Dafa shouted, pointing at Qin Dali. "Bring him over here! I want to knock out a few of his teeth first!"
Hearing this, two big men walked over and pulled Qin Dali out of the crowd, bringing him to the front of the table. Huang Dafa squinted at Qin Dali and chuckled, "You still think you're tough? Show me how tough you are! If I don't kill you today, I won't call myself Huang Dafa!"
As Huang Dafa spoke, he stood up from his chair, walked around the table, and stood in front of Qin Dali. He waved his chubby arm and was about to charge at him when he noticed that Qin Dali was standing there with a fierce look in his eyes. He hesitated and turned to the two big men beside Qin Dali, saying, "Hold his arms! I'm afraid I might knock him away with one punch."
While everyone's attention was on Huang Dafa and Qin Dali, Xin Yi discreetly observed the situation. There were only ten people left on the opposing side, but it seemed that six of them had guns. Two of them had their guns pointed at Xin Yi and the others, while the other four had not drawn their weapons yet but would definitely shoot without hesitation if anything happened. Xin Yi quietly repositioned himself to stand in the best spot to attack the two armed men.
Seeing that the two big men had restrained Qin Dali's arms, Huang Dafa waved his arm again, twisted his neck, and shouted as he charged at Qin Dali, really intending to knock out a few of his teeth. Just as he was about to collide with Qin Dali, Wang Fang suddenly shouted from the crowd, "No!"
With Wang Fang's voice, a body flew through the air like a soccer ball kicked towards a goal and crashed into the wall three meters away with a loud thud before hitting the solid concrete floor with a dull thump and not getting back up.
Of course, it wasn't Qin Dali who flew out. Just as Huang Dafa charged at him with all his might, Qin Dali had already concentrated all his hatred into his right leg. The moment Huang Dafa got close enough, Qin Dali suddenly kicked out. His leg shot forward like an arrow released from a powerful bowstring. Although Qin Dali's leg technique was far inferior to Shen Liwei's, it was more than enough to easily kick a short and fat man like Huang Dafa away.
Everyone was stunned by the sudden turn of events; they hadn't even realized what happened. The two men holding Qin Dali's arms were especially shocked. They didn't see what happened clearly; they only felt Qin Dali's body tremble before Huang Dafa was sent flying through the air. Before they could react, they felt Qin Dali's arms shake free from their grip. Having already experienced Qin Dali's strength, they were frightened and stepped back two paces. Little did they know that Qin Dali's target wasn't them; he leaped over the table and grabbed Jin Yuhua by the neck like an iron claw.
At the same time, Xin Yi wasn't idle either. He had anticipated that Qin Dali would make a move at that moment. As soon as Qin Dali kicked Huang Dafa away, Xin Yi executed a stylish leap and performed a 360-degree spinning kick that sent the guns flying from the hands of the two armed men. Before he even landed, he dashed toward one of the guns' trajectory in mid-air and caught it while shouting, "Dali! Catch!" He tossed the gun to Qin Dali, who caught it effortlessly and pressed it against Jin Yuhua's chin.
Both actions were completed in one fluid motion within ten seconds. By the time everyone regained their senses, the situation had fundamentally changed; those who were previously at a disadvantage had successfully counterattacked while those who were once confident found themselves in a passive position.
Seeing that Qin Dali had successfully subdued Jin Yuhua with the gun, Xin Yi leisurely approached the armed men and confiscated all their guns before handing them to Big Bull for safekeeping. Big Bull was large and had ample pockets in his clothes, so all six guns fit perfectly.
Xin Yi smiled as he approached Jin Yuhua and sat down on the chair where Jin Yuhua had been sitting earlier. Looking at the sweating Jin Yuhua, he said, "Jin Zong, it's your turn to speak now. What do you think we should do about this situation?"
Jin Yuhua's eyes were blinded by sweat dripping down from his forehead; he didn't dare to wipe it away and could only blink his already small eyes vigorously. He looked quite flustered as he replied, "This brother... it's my fault for not recognizing you... I've offended you. Let's just pretend tonight never happened... I'll arrange for cars to take you all home..."
"Ha ha, Jin Zong is really generous. Such a big incident happened, and you actually act as if nothing occurred. However, I am not as magnanimous as Jin Zong. I think... Jin Zong should show a bit of sincerity," Xin Yi said leisurely while crossing her legs.
"What do you want me to do to show sincerity?" Jin Yuhua asked nervously.
"Well... for example... I heard that our bid against Jin Zong has a good chance of winning. Could you please help us out? Just let us small companies have a chance... how about you withdraw from this bid?"
"Um..." Jin Yuhua hesitated before responding, "It's not that I don't want to withdraw, but this matter is being handled by Old Xu. Our Jinhua Group can only get a small portion of the benefits; the rest has to be given to Old Xu. I really can't make that decision on my own; otherwise, Old Xu would take my life too."
"You’re talking nonsense!" Shu Rui interjected at this moment. "We visited Old Xu yesterday, and he promised me he wouldn't interfere with this matter."
"I’m really not lying to you... I also visited Old Xu yesterday and finalized the cooperation terms with him. I even called him today... just to ask if you were his people. Old Xu told me not to worry about him and to deal with you freely, and..."
"And what else?" Shu Rui asked sharply.
"He also told me that after controlling you, I should send President Shu over to him. He said... he said he is quite interested in you..." As she spoke the last part, Jin Yuhua's voice grew softer, likely fearing that Shu Rui would react violently upon hearing it.
Sure enough, after hearing Jin Yuhua's words, Shu Rui's face turned red with anger, and she gritted her teeth, cursing, "Old bastard!"
