The strange old man who winked at him in the corridor, with an extremely ambiguous expression, was actually Roxy in disguise. Just thinking about that nauseatingly weird expression made Xin Yi burst into laughter.
Topology was baffled by Xin Yi's laughter. He thought Xin Yi was laughing at him for not having a masculine demeanor. Unexpectedly, this man, who resembled a high-protein production machine, was so insecure about himself. Topology anxiously asked, "Brother Xin, what are you laughing at? Do you also think I lack masculinity?" Only then did Xin Yi explain how Roxy had disguised herself as that strange old man and how she had just played a prank on him. Topology was so astonished that his mouth dropped open as if he could fit an ostrich egg inside.
With this, Xin Yi had no better reason to send Roxy back to Guokan. Since her makeup skills were so impressive, keeping her in Abayir shouldn't be a problem. Roxy didn't want to go back, but the list had to be returned, so this task naturally fell to Topology. Fortunately, Topology didn't insist; he also wanted to return to Guokan to see his long-lost brothers. What brothers? The Brothers from Beng Hu Company had already been transferred to Guokan. A call from Xu Maogong confirmed that the Brothers from Beng Hu Company had all arrived in Guokan, and Yang Wencai had set up a camp for them to train in his military base. These guys were purely overflowing with energy; on the day they arrived at the camp, they immediately started training. The soldiers coming out of Qin Dali's unit were impressive—they directly intimidated several nearby camps of the Guogan Army. It was clear they were not just soldiers; they were practically killing machines. Although they didn't conduct live-fire shooting training, their martial arts were enough to scare anyone. A single punch could easily break through three one-centimeter thick wooden boards stacked together, and a kick could sweep away five of them. They even used bricks as weapons—though the bricks broke, their heads remained intact. When two of them fought, it was serious business aimed at vital points; anyone unaware would think they were settling personal scores rather than training. The sound of fists hitting flesh echoed loudly, and when one kicked an opponent out of the way, it looked like child's play. The soldiers from nearby Guogan Army camps watching the spectacle gaped in disbelief; some even thought they might have ulcers from the excitement. Among them was a Big Guy Giant who always wore a stern face and challenged anyone he found displeasing to a duel. The Guokan soldiers once witnessed six tiger-like killing machines ordered to attack the Big Guy Giant, only for him to effortlessly toss each of them ten meters away as if catching shrimp. The Guokan soldiers couldn't close their mouths in shock—was this really a human? It felt like a group of tigers and elephants had arrived! Not to mention their own army; even Taiwan's most elite special forces wouldn't stand a chance against them!
After receiving this news, Xin Yi merely smiled. He understood Xu Maogong and Qin Dali's intentions—they were essentially trying to demonstrate to Yang Wencai that they brought an exceptionally powerful iron army that should not be underestimated, especially not Beng Hu Company or the Heavenly Pride Nation! Although they were indeed impostors, such demonstrations were quite necessary—not just for Yang Wencai but also for the nearby military camps. At least now those units that had previously complained about being forced into service no longer voiced their grievances. Originally planning to find an opportunity to express friendly condolences towards these Heavenly Pride Nation occupiers, they now realized that if they wanted to see tomorrow's sunrise, it was better to exhibit some neighborly hospitality instead. After all, the people of Guokan were quite hospitable!
Having obtained Topology's consent, Xin Yi immediately contacted Mr. Garon to help arrange Topology's departure from Abayir. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn't require such trouble; he could simply take a car back. However, due to Yi Jiuchuan's murder and the leak of the Mei Organization's agent list, local government officials, military personnel, police forces, and intelligence agencies were undoubtedly searching everywhere for suspects. If Topology looked somewhat like a Heavenly Pride person, it wouldn't be too conspicuous since many people in Taiwan also descended from Heavenly Pride ancestry and bore no obvious differences in appearance. However, Topology happened to have a typical Arab face—this made him an eye-catching target! Even if Roxy helped him with makeup, it wouldn't matter much since he couldn't even speak more than a few words of Heavenly Pride language; his usual communication involved a mix of Heavenly Pride language with English and body language—this method was acceptable among Xin Yi and others but would likely fail miserably with strangers.
Garon was doing quite well within the Taiwan government and quickly arranged for Topology's return to Guokan by contacting an expert group conducting geographical surveys for a military magazine visiting Guokan. Topology would disguise himself as an overseas-hired geographical expert traveling with this group back to Guokan. Before leaving, Xin Yi instructed Topology to bring back the list and hand it over to Xu Maogong after arriving in Guokan. He had already spoken with Xu Maogong over the phone and instructed him only to extract information about agents lurking within Guokan from the list for Yang Wencai to handle himself while several capable brothers escorted the list back to Heavenly Pride Nation for Xin Shengtian. The agents within Heavenly Pride would be dealt with directly by either Xin Shengtian's Phantom Banner or National Security Department personnel. This arrangement benefited both public and private interests: publicly it served as a great service for the country by eliminating foreign spies lurking within its borders—one could say it was repaying the Motherland! It seemed that Xin Yi's political awareness and sense of duty were quite commendable! Privately it also saved Xin Yi considerable trouble; since someone else could handle those spies, why should his own people do everything? Those Phantom Banner and National Security Department folks wouldn't receive less pay for doing less work; perhaps they'd even find ways to waste taxpayer money due to boredom! Therefore, these people were there for free labor! Naturally, Xin Yi wouldn't worry about the list being swallowed by Xin Shengtian; after all, avenging one's parents also meant avenging his son and daughter-in-law—he wouldn't swallow it up but might even find ways to deal with other Taiwanese spies lurking in various countries without troubling Heavenly Pride Nation's own agents since no country relished having foreign spies within its borders! This list might even earn Heavenly Pride Nation some foreign currency! As for Beng Hu Company's main force remaining in Guokan awaiting support, Xu Maogong and Topology were instructed to select a small team of elite soldiers to rush over to Abayir for coordination against Limin Group.
The Taiwan Authorities indeed took Yi Jiuchuan's murder and the leak of agent lists very seriously; this was evident from the increased police presence and military personnel on the streets of Abayir. These officers and soldiers conducted strict checks on pedestrians; anyone they deemed suspicious would be interrogated—especially young women whom they almost always stopped for questioning along with body searches as well! These scoundrels certainly wouldn't miss such an opportunity for harassment! Consequently, screams from girls mixed with laughter from police officers and soldiers echoed throughout the streets—human rights? In Taiwan? Don't even mention that term! In a government run by military forces where throwing stinky shoes or eggs at parliament is commonplace—talking about human rights is just adding insult!
That afternoon, Xin Yi along with Roxy was picked up by Mr. Garon along with Topology returning to Guokan while Xin Yi and Roxy were arranged into Mr. Garon's apartment. It wasn't until Mr. Garon returned to military control that he realized how serious Taiwan Authorities regarded this matter—the president Jiang Jiwen personally ordered citywide martial law imposing strict checks on every exit point while ensuring every person leaving town was scrutinized thoroughly until those responsible for killing Yi Jiuchuan and stealing agent lists were captured! Topology needn't worry since Mr. Garon had already forged him a legitimate identity; coupled with being part of a geographical survey team provided sufficient cover—no one would suspect him! However, Roxy faced potential issues because she had checked into hotels using an identity forged by Yang Wencai which meant authorities would likely trace her back there based on that lead—thus Mr. Garon hurriedly extracted her and Xin Yi before police and military nets fully spread.
The place Mr. Garon arranged was merely an ordinary residential community—a typical two-bedroom apartment where he dropped them off before taking several photos then hurriedly left stating excessive outings during such sensitive times might raise suspicion while repeatedly advising them not to go out unless necessary since everything needed was available here—they just needed to stay indoors! After Mr. Garon left, Xin Yi checked around confirming nothing was missing—not only was there plenty of food in the refrigerator but daily necessities like toothpaste toothbrushes pajamas were all present—it seemed this place was prepared as an emergency shelter ready for use at any time.
During dinner time, Xin Yi casually cooked several dishes using vegetables from the fridge since this task fell solely upon him; although Roxy could cook too her repertoire mainly consisted of frying steaks or making salads which while edible didn’t compare favorably against stir-fried dishes served with rice—a stomach accustomed only enjoyed Heavenly Pride cuisine! While Xin Yi’s cooking skills weren’t exceptional they certainly weren’t poor either judging by Roxy’s ravenous consumption devoid of any ladylike demeanor—it surprised him how this vixen maintained such good figure yet could eat so much! Four dishes plus four bowls of rice left him only half full while she polished everything off looking unsatisfied as if still hungry—this impressed Xin Yi greatly! Noticing his gaze upon her Roxy shyly smiled saying: “I didn’t expect your cooking could taste so good; aren’t women supposed to cook in Heavenly Pride Nation?”
What kind of logic is that? Just because women cook doesn’t mean men can’t? If so then wouldn’t bachelors like Xin Yi starve? Thus he chuckled: “Isn’t it just my habit living alone? There aren’t any women at home so who else would cook for me?”
“Actually I can cook too,” Roxy replied earnestly: “I’m a woman so I’ll cook for you from now on.”
