Lijie was sent to the hospital room after the surgery. Xin Yi was sitting beside her, looking at her lost in thought with affection. Suddenly, the door to the room was pushed open, and Roxy, Qin Dali, and Big Bull walked in. Big Bull glanced at Lijie lying in bed, his eyes wide as he said in a booming voice, "Brother Xin! After breaking through, he jumped out of the car while being chased by the police and threatened the driver by saying he had planted a bomb in the car that would explode if they drove slower than sixty kilometers per hour. The driver had no choice but to keep driving forward until he was forcibly stopped by the police, only to find out it was all a false alarm. Meanwhile, the criminal had already escaped. This sketch was drawn based on the driver's description." Roxy paused for a moment before continuing, "After I told Yang Chieftain about your ambush, he immediately instructed the Guokan police to investigate this matter. They discovered that these two incidents were actually one and the same, so they quickly sent relevant information for further investigation. By the way... Xin Yi, are you okay?"
"I'm fine; Lijie took that bullet for me," Xin Yi replied.

"I'll stay behind to take care of... her. I'm a woman; some things are easier for me than for you men," Roxy said as she glanced at Lijie who lay unconscious. Xin Yi thought about it and agreed; although he and Lijie were already like a married couple, her attitude towards him wasn't very good right now. There were some things she might not want him to help with. Having Roxy stay behind would be better since women could communicate more easily with each other. So he nodded in agreement for Roxy to stay.
As Qin Dali and Big Bull stepped out of the hospital room, they ran into Yang Wencai walking in with a group of people escorting him. One of Yang Wencai's assistants was holding a bouquet of carnations, apparently having come specifically to visit Xin Yi and his friends after hearing about what happened. Qin Dali exchanged brief greetings with Yang Wencai before leaving. Yang Wencai instructed everyone else to wait outside the hospital room while he entered with his assistant carrying flowers.
