As soon as they entered, Qin Dali asked, "Brother Xin, should I bring a few more brothers over to keep an eye on them? What if they try to escape while we're not paying attention?"
"Don't worry, Dali," Xin Yi replied with a slight smile. "They won't escape. Collaborating with me is their safest option now. If they try to run away, they'll be doomed."
"Why? If they escape back to Taiwan, wouldn't that mean all our efforts are wasted?" Qin Dali questioned, concerned that losing a key member of the Mei Organization would be like letting a tiger return to the mountain.
"No, think about it. Cao Borin and Wu Zhi are in the hands of the Guogan Military, and the Mei Organization knows this. If they suddenly run back without explanation, who would believe them? As an experienced agent, Cao Borin wouldn't make such a foolish move. So let's allow them some peace; after being apart for so long, they must have much to discuss," Xin Yi smiled.
In the adjacent room, as soon as they entered, Jiang Lian turned to Cao Borin and asked, "Borin, did you do something against the organization?"

"Because they want me to tell them something," Cao Borin explained. "And this information is quite important to their leader named Xin Yi, which is why they're treating us this way."
"So you're preparing to betray the organization's intelligence?" There was no blame or opposition in Jiang Lian's tone; she simply expressed her doubts: "If you tell them what they want to know, what will happen to us? Will we continue to be imprisoned or secretly executed?"
"No, that Xin Yi promised me that he would help us escape to another country, free from the control and pursuit of the Mei Organization," Cao Borin said. "Jiang Lian, do you think it's worth it for us to do this? I promised that Xin Yi last night, but the condition was that he had to find you and bring you along with me. I never expected that just one day later, we would really meet again."
"Did you really make such a condition?" Jiang Lian's eyes were already filled with tears again as she choked out, "Actually, ever since you were captured by them, I haven't returned to Abayir. I've been staying in Guokan, just to kill those Heavenly Pride Nation spies and avenge you! "That spy from the Heavenly Pride Nation, the one named Xin Yi," Cao Borin explained. "He claims to be a descendant of agents from the Heavenly Pride Nation Phantom Banner.
