Xin Yi couldn't bear to see Lijie and Roxy continue to torment those children. After all, they just chose the wrong path and became delinquents, but that didn't mean they deserved such a harsh fate. A man can be ugly, but he must have some courage! Without that, he wouldn't be a man at all. So, as winter arrives, friends who invite others for hot pot should eat more quail eggs; after all, you are what you eat. I wish you all plenty of quail eggs!
Xin Yi quickly called out, "Hey ladies, take a break! Let the older guys handle this kind of physical work."
Upon hearing this, the group of small delinquents cried out in despair. Oh my God, is today a cursed day? How could their luck be so bad? Their boss often told them that being a delinquent was a promising career! But how could they be so pathetic? Just teasing a girl and getting rejected right away, not to mention being taken down by a monster-level figure in just two seconds. What kind of delinquents were they? They might as well go home and help their mothers sell tofu at the market.
Thinking this way, the few small delinquents who could still run immediately took off. It wasn't easy for their parents to bring them into this world; they should keep themselves safe. However, due to the large crowd watching, they found it hard to escape. The onlookers saw them in trouble and didn't give way; the small delinquents scurried around like rats trying to find an exit.
Just as they were struggling through the crowd, a commotion erupted from outside. A man shouted, "Everyone get out of the way! Dong is here!"
The crowd immediately parted to create a path as a group of burly men entered. Leading them was a tall man with a buzz cut. He wasn't exceptionally tall but was broad and muscular, fitting the description of someone strong and formidable. His gaze was fierce.
As the group entered the circle, the big man glanced at the Green-Haired Monster lying on the ground before his eyes fell on Xin Yi and her companions. Notably, when he saw the three ladies, his expression was one of pure admiration rather than lewdness—much better than his subordinates who looked at them with greedy eyes reminiscent of the Green-Haired Monster's hair color. The big man scanned them and asked, "What does this mean? Don't you know this is my territory, A Dong?"
"You are A Dong, right?" Xin Yi replied. "I think you should ask your little friends here about what happened; they should know better."
The small delinquents who had tried to escape earlier felt their courage surge upon seeing their boss's boss arrive and decided that being a delinquent wasn't so bad after all. They turned back and gathered around A Dong, indicating that Xin Yi was referring to them.
After listening to Xin Yi, A Dong nodded and glared at the cowering small delinquents. "Speak up! What’s going on? Why are you causing trouble in my territory?!"
The small delinquents were startled and exchanged glances, none daring to speak up. Seeing this, A Dong understood most of it and darkened his expression while pointing at a red-haired delinquent. "You tell me! Speak honestly!"
The Red-Haired Little Rogue turned pale and stammered, "D-Dong... Brother Xi said those girls were pretty and wanted them to dance with us Brothers, but... but those girls acted all high and mighty and ignored us Brothers, so Brother Xi told us..."
"Smack!" With a crisp sound, before the Red-Haired Little Rogue could finish speaking, A Dong slapped him hard across the face. The little rogue's face immediately swelled up, clearly indicating that A Dong was serious. After slapping the Red-Haired Little Rogue, A Dong scolded, "I knew it was you little brats causing trouble! Always making a mess for me! The customers who come to our place are important, do you understand? They are like gods, our bread and butter! Without customers spending money, how can I support you little rascals? Hurry up and apologize to them! Or else I'll deal with you later!"
After saying this, A Dong walked over to Xin Yi and the others, bowed, and said, "I apologize on behalf of my underlings for their lack of manners and for disturbing you." He then turned back to the little rogues and shouted, "You little rascals, come over and apologize!"
The little rogues had no choice but to walk over sheepishly and apologize to Xin Yi and the others. Xin Yi and his group were not the type to hold grudges against their own people. After all, they were all part of the Three Tiger Group in Binhai's underworld. Moreover, this was in the bustling Central District of Longchuan. It was clear that this Disco Bar was also an establishment of the Three Tiger Group. How could those guarding the place dare to harass the Boss's women? It was no wonder these little rogues were in trouble.
"Tonight's expenses will be on me as an apology," A Dong said to Xin Yi.
At this moment, Xin Yi wasn't concerned about the expenses; spending money in his own establishment meant it was still his money. What mattered more was figuring out what was going on with these little rogues. If those guarding the place behaved like this, it would undoubtedly have a negative impact on business. Such incidents could not be allowed to fester in his territory. Therefore, Xin Yi fixed a sharp gaze on A Dong and asked, "What’s going on with these kids? Are they your people? If not, why are you apologizing on their behalf?"
A Dong was taken aback by Xin Yi's question. He thought it was strange for a customer to ask so many questions after he had already apologized. What was the point of being so thorough? However, he had always been taught by headquarters to treat customers warmly like spring while being strict with enemies like winter. So A Dong maintained his professionalism and replied, "Actually, they aren't really my people; one of them is my younger brother. He often brings his friends here to hang out and occasionally helps out. That's how they got familiar with each other and are willing to listen to me. I never expected something like this would happen today; I'm truly sorry!"
Wow, a big shot at a Disco Bar acting like this—only someone from the Three Tiger Group would behave this way. Even in more upscale establishments, the attitude of a lobby manager might not be as accommodating. Some managers would just give you a cold smile and say, "Sir, I'm sorry; no comment!" Is that what you call quality service?
"Oh, I see," Xin Yi understood the situation now. Since A Dong's attitude was so good, there wasn't much more to say. He continued, "These kids aren't staff members; regardless of who they are, they can come here to spend money but can't act on behalf of your staff when handling issues because uninformed customers might mistake them for employees. If there are such 'employees,' how can customers feel safe coming here again? Don't you think? Also, your actual staff responded too slowly. If we hadn't been able to fight back earlier, by the time you arrived we might have already suffered losses. As staff members, you should handle situations immediately as they arise to prevent unnecessary consequences. Do you think I'm making sense?"
A Dong felt overwhelmed by this lecture; this guy sure could talk! Hadn't he already led his brothers in apologizing? This whole reasoning sounded like he was teaching them how to do their jobs! Their Boss had never given them such detailed instructions before—wasn't he meddling too much?
While A Dong could still manage to accept it with a frown, one of his subordinates was visibly annoyed. Initially excited about seeing three beautiful women upon entering, he soon realized that this guy had swooped in like a hero saving a damsel in distress. The looks those three women gave him were starry-eyed admiration directed at that guy. He felt infuriated; that guy looked like a pretty boy type anyway! The ones lying on the ground were just inexperienced kids—if it were him there instead, he could take on several at once! What was so impressive about him? If given that chance, he too could win over those beautiful women’s hearts! Just thinking about what might happen after winning their affection made his heart race.
Now seeing his boss apologizing to that guy while he took on a lecturing tone made him even angrier—who did he think he was? Did he think he was our Third-in-Command Xin Yi from the Three Tiger Group? Damn! He should consider his own status before speaking! So he angrily retorted, "Cut it out! You’ve been given an out; just take it and leave instead of rambling on like you're someone important!"
"Bowa, don't be rude!" A Dong quickly signaled him to shut up and said, "You take a few brothers and escort Axi and them to the hospital."
"Hmph! That's right, what is this! Don't think that we from the Three Tiger Group are easy to bully!" Bowa muttered defiantly, before leading a few brothers towards the Green-Haired Monster on the ground.
"Hehe, it's understandable to vent a little frustration; after all, it feels uncomfortable when something like this happens in your own territory," Xin Yi said with an understanding smile. "Alright, we should be leaving now. A Dong, you did well!" Xin Yi patted A Dong on the shoulder and then walked towards the door with three beautiful women.
Bowa and another big man were lifting the Green-Haired Monster off the ground when suddenly a bag fell out of the pocket of the Green-Haired Monster. It landed right at Xin Yi's feet as he passed by, but no one else noticed. When Xin Yi bent down to pick it up and saw what was inside, his face immediately changed color, and he shouted at Bowa, "Stop! Bring him back!"
