Faced with Azheng's swift elbow strike, Zhang Yang felt the red Blade on his forehead suddenly darken. He quickly launched an attack, using his longest middle finger to jab at Azheng's rib area, targeting the Zhangmen acupoint. Just as Azheng's elbow was about an inch away from Zhang Yang's chest, it was already hit. Azheng immediately felt a numbness in his upper body; his elbow still collided with Zhang Yang's chest, but it was now soft and powerless, as if it were just a playful tap.
Zhang Yang would not give him a chance to recover. He retracted his fingers into a fist and delivered a short punch to Azheng's waist, sending Azheng flying sideways and crashing heavily to the ground.
"Wow!" Lin Zhenxiong exclaimed in surprise, picking up a piece of discarded iron from beside the air conditioning unit and charging forward to strike; meanwhile, Long-Haired Man also released the girl and rushed in with a butterfly knife. This alley was a dead end; there was fighting ahead and no way out behind. The girl had nowhere to run and stood trembling, unsure of what to do.
Lin Zhenxiong and Long-Haired Man were on a completely different level compared to Azheng. Zhang Yang directly grabbed the iron piece that Lin Zhenxiong swung at him, yanked it hard, causing Lin Zhenxiong to lose grip and fly out, landing with a loud thud on the ground. At the same time, Zhang Yang kicked out with his right leg, breaking Long-Haired Man's wrist that held the knife. Without pausing in mid-air, he delivered another kick to Long-Haired Man's face, who let out a scream and fell to the ground.
Lin Zhenxiong and Long-Haired Man groaned in pain on the ground while Azheng slowly stood up, supporting himself with one hand on his waist.
"You are quite skilled," Azheng said. This statement made Lin Zhenxiong and Long-Haired Man on the ground curse internally; wasn't this just stating the obvious? If he weren't skilled, how could he have beaten them so badly?
Only Zhang Yang understood Azheng's meaning. What Azheng meant was that Zhang Yang's abilities were not merely brutal fighting techniques or ordinary combat skills like Sanda or boxing; they were true martial arts. While Sanda experts and fighters could easily handle ordinary people, they often found themselves at a loss against someone with mysterious martial arts skills.
"I didn't expect there really are such people; they don't just exist in martial arts stories," Azheng sighed. "You can take them away; we admit defeat."
Zhang Yang waved at the girl, signaling her to come over. She obediently ran over. As they walked, Zhang Yang said to Azheng, "You're a man; why do you have to be a thug?"
Azheng paused for a moment but quickly turned around to help Lin Zhenxiong and Long-Haired Man up.
As they exited the alley, Zhang Yang asked the girl, "Where do you live? I'll take you back."
"My name is Sister Yao; I'm from Tianfu Province," she replied, looking at Zhang Yang with sparkling eyes.
"I didn't ask for your name; I asked where you live," Zhang Yang maintained his calm tone.
"Oh, Seaside Grand Hotel. Thank you for taking me back," Sister Yao stuck out her tongue playfully.
Seaside Grand Hotel was a five-star hotel in Haizhou City, located by the sea in South District, not too far from Midnight Bar. As they approached the hotel, Sister Yao's phone suddenly rang. "We're almost at the hotel; it won't delay anything," she said into her phone.
Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, a short but capable-looking young man walked out: "Sister Yao, I told you not to wander around; this isn't our territory. We have business in two days."
"I'll introduce you; this is Alang... By the way, what's your name?" Sister Yao turned to look at Zhang Yang.
"My last name is Zhang," Zhang Yang replied with a slight smile.
"Hello, Mr. Zhang," Alang said with some confusion but still greeted politely. He then looked at Sister Yao and asked, "You all..."
"Someone was causing trouble at the bar, and this handsome guy saved me," Sister Yao replied. "By the way, why don't you come up and sit for a while? I'll buy you another drink."
"Sister Yao!" Alang shot Sister Yao a look, clearly trying to stop her.
"No, I should go home. Don't be polite. Goodbye." Zhang Yang didn't want to stay longer and turned to leave.
"What's with the politeness? You're the one being polite. Let's go," Sister Yao surprisingly reached out and grabbed Zhang Yang's hand. Her small hand was cold but very smooth, making Zhang Yang feel comfortable. "If you leave like this, I'll seem ungrateful. Come on, let's go." Saying that, she pulled Zhang Yang toward the hotel.
Zhang Yang was at a loss for words and looked at Alang, as if asking him to persuade his companion; he really didn't want to go up.
"Ah." Alang sighed. "Come on, Mr. Zhang, let's have a drink in the room. We really should thank you." Clearly, Alang seemed to know that once Sister Yao had set her mind on something, it would be hard to change it. He had no other options and ended up saying this.
Sister Yao's delicate face showed anticipation as her lips slightly pouted. Zhang Yang smiled and agreed to follow them up.
Alang and Sister Yao were staying on the same floor. Alang had a single room while Sister Yao had a business suite; their statuses were evident. The three of them entered Sister Yao's room and sat down on the sofa in the living area. Sister Yao took a bottle of Chivas and two glasses from the liquor cabinet.
Seeing Zhang Yang's puzzled expression, Sister Yao laughed and said, "He doesn't drink." After pouring the drinks, she asked, "You're amazing! Who did you learn your skills from?"
"I learned from a relative; it's enough to deal with small-time thugs," Zhang Yang replied. Since he was there, he picked up his glass and took a sip.
"So what do you do?"
"Uh, I'm still in school," Zhang Yang hesitated for a moment but decided to tell the truth.
"How old are you?"
"18."
"You're a year younger than me! Hehe," Sister Yao laughed.
"And you two are?" Zhang Yang asked symbolically.
"Oh, we're colleagues here on a business trip," Alang answered before Sister Yao could respond.
"Sister Yao is your leader," Zhang Yang chuckled.
"Well, he has to listen to me. Let's exchange phone numbers. What's your full name?" Sister Yao laughed again.
Heroes often struggle with beautiful women. Zhang Yang had no choice but to give his name, and they exchanged numbers. Taking the opportunity, he mentioned that he really needed to go home and stood up to leave. Before Sister Yao could respond, Alang also stood up and said, "I'll see Mr. Zhang off."
After Zhang Yang left, Alang returned to the room and closed the door. "Sister Yao, we came here for a deal. Why were you so careless as to bring an outsider in? What if he's a cop?"
"Is there such a handsome cop?" Sister Yao replied dismissively.
"The Haizhou line is an old connection with a long-time client. Uncle Chuan only trusted me to bring you here because of that, but this time it's five kilograms of goods. Can you wait until after the deal before having fun?" Alang was clearly a bit anxious.
"What are you afraid of? Don't you have a gun? Aren't you known as the Sharpshooter?" Sister Yao stepped forward and shook Alang's arm. "Come on, Brother Lang, my dad is fine with me going out. What are you worried about? At most, I'll just follow your arrangements for the next couple of days."
"Alright then, you are not allowed to leave the hotel before the deal!" Alang said before getting up to leave.
"Hmph!" Sister Yao watched Alang close the door and muttered to herself, "It's not easy to get out for once; how can I not have some fun?"
