"I've seen you before." Azheng smiled, "There's no reason for you to come here uninvited. So, what is it?" Azheng took a seat. Gao Ting brought over two cups of tea.
"I really like straightforward people. I'm here to recruit." The Black Wolf lightly sipped his tea and smiled.
"Why would I agree to that?" Azheng said, waving his hand to signal Gao Ting to leave.
"I've already dealt with Long-Haired. To be honest, I've been eyeing Wang Donghai's faction these past few days, so I've been keeping an eye on Lin Zhenxiong and Long-Haired, and of course, you. I didn't expect to run into this situation. You killed Lin Zhenxiong, so you can't stay under Wang Donghai anymore," the Black Wolf said.
"Is this some kind of trap you've set?" Azheng's muscles tensed, his eyes flashing with intensity.
"That's not important. What matters is that your girlfriend wasn't harmed. Even if you couldn't make it, Lin Zhenxiong wouldn't have gotten to her anyway. Besides, sticking with Lin Zhenxiong won't lead to anything good," the Black Wolf looked at Azheng and said, "Relax, if I wanted to deal with you, I wouldn't have come alone."
Azheng picked up his teacup and thought quietly for a moment before slowly saying, "Wang Donghai is not easy to deal with; he's very cunning."
"You guys have been fighting for territory in the seafood market lately, which has already angered Sha He Shang. If Seeking Society and Sha He Shang join forces, won't Wang Donghai be even harder to handle?" The Black Wolf smiled.
"So you've planned everything out. You're quite clever. But this means I'm becoming a traitor," Azheng said.
"A wise person knows when to yield; you're not being a traitor but merely protecting yourself. If you don't take down Wang Donghai, how will you ever stand under him again?" The Black Wolf stood up. "Come on, let's have a drink and I'll introduce you to a friend."
After evening classes, Zhang Yang escorted Ding Weiwei home and then arrived at a private room on the second floor of Midnight Bar. The first floor of Midnight Bar had a bar counter and dance floor along with scattered booths, while the second floor was relatively quiet with enclosed private rooms.
"It's you!" Azheng exclaimed as he and the Black Wolf entered the private room and spotted Zhang Yang.
"Long time no see, Cheng Ge," Zhang Yang stood up.
"This is Zhang Yang, Brother Yang," the Black Wolf introduced him to Azheng. At that moment, Azheng was surprised; Zhang Yang looked young yet was able to earn the title of "Brother Yang" from the leader of Seeking Society. Coupled with the fact that Zhang Yang had previously defeated him, Azheng felt a surge of admiration.
Without a doubt, Azheng officially joined Seeking Society.
After some discussion, the three decided to first eliminate Wang Donghai's three largest strongholds: Midnight Bar, East Sea Night Club, and Hot Spring Club. Azheng would act as an insider while Seeking Society and Sha He Shang worked together.
"Let's have a toast," Zhang Yang raised his glass.
This is a strange scene: a high school student, a Gang Leader, and the Backbone of the Rival Faction are toasting in celebration before taking any action, and the location is surprisingly in a private room of a bar on someone else's territory.
After the operation began, Wang Donghai suffered heavy losses. The Midnight Bar and East Sea Night Club were swept clean one after another, with fewer and fewer customers. The Seeking Society openly offered prices: 100,000 for the Midnight Bar and 200,000 for the East Sea Night Club. If they handed them over, everything would be fine.
"This is outright robbery," Wang Donghai cursed while half-lying in a small pool in the luxurious private room of Hot Spring Club. Two seemingly frail young girls beside him didn’t say much, each holding onto one of Wang Donghai's arms. Wang Donghai was not only ruthless but also quite perverse; he liked girls of such young age.
"How is this not considered robbery?" As he spoke, the door to the private room unexpectedly opened, and Black Wolf and Azheng walked in.
"Azheng? I should have guessed it was you; otherwise, how could they have been so successful? Did you take care of Lin Zhenxiong?" Wang Donghai turned his head to look, not showing much panic; after all, he was an old hand at this. He waved his hand to let the two girls leave.
"Let them stay here. But don’t worry, all your subordinates in the club have been dealt with. Now we at Seeking Society are helping you clean up the aftermath," Black Wolf said.
"Hahaha, it seems I've been utterly defeated." Wang Donghai stood up from the pool, completely naked. "Can I put on some clothes first?"
"You can put on the bathrobe hanging over there," Azheng replied coldly. He knew that Wang Donghai had a gun in his clothes.
Wang Donghai walked over to where the bathrobe was hanging, quickly put it on, then sat down on a nearby sofa before finally tying the belt of the robe. After lighting a cigarette, Wang Donghai asked, "What do you plan to do?"
"Two options. One, you announce that all your assets are merging into Seeking Society and immediately withdraw to find a place to retire. Two, if you refuse, we’ll just leave; we wouldn’t dare kill you. The crime of murder is too heavy for most people to bear. However, no one can guarantee that one day Wang Donghai might just mysteriously disappear," Black Wolf laughed.
"Very well. It looks like a multiple-choice question but is actually a dictation question. What if I refuse to write?" As he spoke, Wang Donghai suddenly pulled out a Type 54 pistol. Unexpectedly, he had placed the gun in the large pocket of his bathrobe; no wonder he sat down on the sofa right after putting it on.
"When I, Wang Donghai, was out making my way in this world, you two little brats didn’t even know whose balls you were hanging onto!" Wang Donghai said as he stood up and slowly reached behind the sofa to press a red button. Suddenly there was a sound from the wardrobe as if a secret door had opened.
"I'll send you two kids straight to hell!" Wang Donghai cocked his gun with swift movements. Holding a weapon ready to fire seemed to ease the danger; Wang Donghai appeared to be in better spirits and paused slightly before saying to Azheng: "I'll deal with you first, traitor!"
Black Wolf and Azheng were about three meters away from Wang Donghai, seemingly having little chance to roll away or dodge. Suddenly, there was a voice coming from inside the secret door of the wardrobe:
"Wang Gang Leader, your secret passage is well designed! Did you know there's also a Wang Gang Leader in Beggar's Sect from Heavenly Dragon Eight Parts?" Following that, the wardrobe door opened, and a pale-faced young man stepped out calmly. It was Zhang Yang.
A gunshot rang out.
Wang Donghai reacted quickly and fired at Zhang Yang, who was in front of the wardrobe. Zhang Yang seemed to be prepared, performing a back handspring to evade the bullet, then swiftly threw a coin with his right hand. Wang Donghai let out a scream as the smoking handgun clattered to the ground.
Wang Donghai gritted his teeth and raised his right hand, a one-yuan steel coin embedded itself into the back of his hand at an angle.
"You called me a traitor, so how could you not expect that I would find out there’s a secret passage in this private room?" Azheng said, staring at Wang Donghai.
"Who is this person?" Wang Donghai was drenched in sweat; the coin had flown through the air and managed to pierce his hand, leaving even this seasoned veteran shocked. Who was this suddenly appearing kid?
"My name is Zhang Yang. I’m a student from Wuzhong. After school today, I accidentally discovered a secret passage. When I walked in, I found someone about to shoot, so I used the coin I always carry with me," Zhang Yang said with a smile as he looked at Wang Donghai.
"You..." Wang Donghai trembled with anger at Zhang Yang's seemingly ridiculous explanation.
"Brother Yang, what should we do now?" Azheng asked.
"Call the police. Didn't I just say everything that needed to be recorded? You two must have come to the club for a bath, right?" Zhang Yang said, pulling out his phone and dialing the police.
