The person holding Zhang Yang was naturally Wings. Wings gave a glance and said, "Mud Bodhisattva." The meaning couldn't be clearer; you are already in trouble yourself, yet you still have time to meddle in others' affairs? 0

Zhang Yang frowned and also signaled Wings to leave first, not wanting to stir up trouble; that was not like him. 0

The man hesitated while looking at the chips in front of him, but the two soldiers were growing impatient. One of them even placed his hand on his waist, where something bulky was clearly tucked away. 0

"There's no evidence; why say someone is cheating?" Zhang Yang stepped forward and said. 0

"Mind your own business?" one soldier replied in broken Chinese, stepping closer to Zhang Yang with an intimidating glare. 0

"It's not meddling; it's a matter concerning the Chinese people!" Zhang Yang sneered, staring at the soldier. Suddenly, without warning, the soldier raised his hand and slapped at Zhang Yang, but Zhang Yang easily caught his wrist and with a swift motion, threw him down to the ground with a loud thud. 0

The other soldier immediately drew his gun, aiming it at Zhang Yang. Without a second thought, Zhang Yang waved his hand, producing a sharp sound as the gun flew out of the soldier's grip and clattered to the ground. 0

People around the gambling table gasped in shock. At that moment, the man who had been suspected of cheating looked up, and to Zhang Yang's surprise, it was a familiar face. 0

Kang Ning! He actually came to Myanmar! 0

"Go!" Wings shouted and rushed out. Without thinking twice, Zhang Yang grabbed Kang Ning and dashed outside. 0

Their speed was so fast that the casino guards didn't have time to react. Even those who tried to block them were easily brushed aside. The three quickly burst through the casino doors and ran toward the border. Gunfire erupted behind them. 0

Kang Ning was struggling; after just a few minutes of running, he was already gasping for breath. By the end, he was practically being dragged by Zhang Yang, significantly slowing their pace. As they neared the border line, a military jeep suddenly appeared at the end of a secluded alley, and two soldiers emerged from either side of the street. 0

Both soldiers were armed with submachine guns and raised their weapons at the trio. 0

Zhang Yang and Wings didn’t give them a chance; they charged forward before the soldiers could fire, taking them down swiftly and seizing their submachine guns. Kang Ning was terrified, trembling against one side of the wall; his legs felt weak, barely able to stand. 0

At that moment, several more soldiers emerged from behind the military jeep, aiming their rifles at the three and opening fire. 0

Fortunately, there were plenty of doorways along the alley for cover. Zhang Yang quickly assessed the terrain, raised his submachine gun, and waited for an opportunity to retaliate. 0

Wings pulled out a rope with a hook from his gear and swung it around to catch one of the fallen soldier's bodies. Zhang Yang understood immediately; he darted behind the corpse and crouched down, finding an opening between its legs to fire rapidly. 0

Zhang Yang's marksmanship needed no introduction; one soldier was shot through the throat instantly, blood spraying out like an arrow. The others were stunned and quickly dropped down for cover behind the jeep. 0

"Both of you retreat!" Zhang Yang shouted, pushing aside a corpse and standing directly in the middle of the street. He aimed at the tires of the jeep and shot them, causing them to burst. Then, he aimed at the jeep's fuel tank and fired again; the bullet struck the metal body of the vehicle, creating a spark. 0

A few soldiers hiding behind the jeep seemed to understand Zhang Yang's intentions but dared not raise their heads. 0

Seeing that Wings and Kang Ning had run far away, Zhang Yang immediately turned and followed them. They quickly turned into a narrow alley. After several twists and turns, they reached the main road. Zhang Yang and Wings stopped a black sedan. The driver was a man in his fifties who, upon seeing the two with guns, was so frightened that he nearly wet himself. 0

The three got into the car, with Wings sitting in the passenger seat, gun pressed against the driver's head. "Take us to the suburbs! Somewhere with mountains, villages, and trees!" The driver nodded and started the vehicle. 0

They chose the suburbs because the border was surely blocked by Myanmar's soldiers, and other major roads through different cities were likely also sealed off. Therefore, they could only go to the suburbs to avoid trouble for now and then look for an opportunity to cross back home. 0

The driver brought them to a road near Old Street in the suburbs. Seeing a dirt road nearby, he immediately directed the driver to turn onto it. Throughout the journey, none of them spoke. 0

At the end of the dirt road was a village located halfway up a hill, consisting of several dozen bamboo houses. On one side was a forest, while on the other side of the small mountain lay a valley with a small river running through it. 0

After stopping the car, Wings retrieved a large travel bag from the trunk of the black sedan, placed his gun inside, and then pulled out several bottles of mineral water and some packets of milk. He said to the driver, "Let me see your driver's license!" 0

The driver trembled as he handed over his license. Wings glanced at it a few times before returning it to him. "You can go now. Don't talk about this matter; keep it to yourself. I've noted down your license plate number!" 0

The driver felt as if he had been granted amnesty and quickly drove away. 0

The three did not dare to enter the village easily; instead, they sat behind a large rock in a small grove. 0

"Sorry for dragging you into this," Zhang Yang said to Wings. 0

"It's no big deal. By the way, do you know this Buddy?" Wings asked with a smile. 0

"He's an old enemy of mine; now he's also wanted and living in exile," Zhang Yang replied as he glanced at Kang Ning and chuckled. 0

Kang Ning shivered and took a closer look at Zhang Yang. Zhang Yang had changed his appearance; initially, Kang Ning did not recognize him and merely thought they were both Chinese people. He wanted to thank him for his help but never got the chance until now. Hearing Zhang Yang say that made him recall his voice, and suddenly he exclaimed: 0

"You are Zhang Yang!" 0

Only then did Zhang Yang remember that he had changed his appearance; Kang Ning hadn't recognized him earlier either. He nodded slightly and said, "Yeah, we seem to have quite a connection." 0

Kang Ning lowered his head and suddenly said softly, "After all, we are all Chinese people. Thank you for your help." 0

Zhang Yang replied, "Help? If it weren't for me, you might have just spat out some money and walked away. You could have been harmed, hahaha." 0

"That's not how it should be said," Kang Ning suddenly said seriously. "As Chinese people, how can we allow outsiders to bully us!" 0

"Hey, I didn't expect you to have such a sense of national pride. By the way, do you know that Wu Zhongxin has been dealt with?" Zhang Yang asked. 0

"I know. If I hadn't run away, I would have been dealt with anyway. Even running away might not save me from being killed outside," Kang Ning said quietly. "That person is too ruthless." 0

"Are you talking about Hua Sihai?" Zhang Yang suddenly asked. 0

"Who is Hua Sihai?" Kang Ning replied, somewhat confused. 0

Zhang Yang suddenly realized that this Hua Sihai was likely a false name, and different people were handling different matters, possibly unaware of each other. What Pigo did might not be known to Kang Ning, and what Kang Ning did might not be known to Pigo. 0

"Could it be that the mastermind Big Tiger is Luo Huasheng?" Zhang Yang said in a low voice. 0
