I foolishly challenged the Bat Demon, but it was clearly on a different level. None of the Spells in my hands could penetrate the black mist surrounding the Bat Demon, and I could only shrink back into my Daoist Robe. 0

The Azure Robe given to me by my master was made of an unknown material; I felt almost nothing while wearing it. Such a thin Daoist Robe couldn't hold up for long, I thought. 0

However, when the black mist touched my Daoist Robe, strangely enough, it had no effect at all; instead, it dissipated upon contact. 0

My master's belongings turned out to be quite valuable! I couldn't just stand there and take hits anymore. 0

I took off the Octagonal Taiji from around my neck, bit into it, and let a Blood Drop fall onto the Tai Chi. The Tai Chi emitted several beams of golden light as I hurled it toward the Bat Demon. 0

The Octagonal Taiji created a gust of wind and a slicing sound as it struck the Bat Demon hard, leaving a bloody gash on its body. Seizing this opportunity, I raised my sword and slashed at the Bat Demon. Caught off guard by the sudden blow, it lost half of one wing to my strike. 0

The Octagonal Taiji curved in mid-air after passing through the Bat Demon and charged back toward it. The Bat Demon used its remaining intact wing to push off the ground and evade, causing the Octagonal Taiji to head straight for me. 0

I caught the Octagonal Taiji effortlessly and held it in my hand. I raised my glowing sword, ready to strike again, but unfortunately, the Bat Demon had already fled far away. 0

The Bat Demon bared its fangs and licked its nose: "Interesting." 0

In this encounter, I had gained a significant advantage; the Bat Demon could no longer fly, and its agility had been greatly diminished. 0

"A brat relying on magical artifacts," sneered the Bat Demon. "I'll make you watch as I drain your blood dry." 0

The Bat Demon pulled one of its sharp fangs from its mouth and held it in hand. The fang was nearly half a meter long, with a blood-red tip that looked eerie and sinister. 0

Now unable to fly, the half-crippled wing became a burden for the Bat Demon. I charged forward with my sword again, aiming three strikes to cut off its escape route. The Bat Demon clearly had training; with a slight lift of its hands, it deflected my attacks. Being shorter than me meant I had to lower my strikes while it could easily counter with an upward motion. 0

Seeing that my frontal attacks were ineffective, I shifted my focus to targeting the Bat Demon's lower body. 0

Hands are like two doors; it's all about using legs to fight. A Sweep Kick went straight for the Bat Demon, catching it off guard and knocking it down. Not one to let up on an advantage, I directed my glowing sword toward its chest. The Bat Demon blocked with its other wing. In the next moment, its fang pierced through its own wing and then through my chest; astonishingly, the Bat Demon used its fang to penetrate both its wing and mine! 0

Although the fang caused a penetrating wound in me, not a single drop of blood flowed out because my blood was being absorbed into the Bat Demon's body. 0

"Caw Caw, I am Black Wuchang," laughed the Bat Demon. To my surprise, the wing I had severed began to regrow slowly. It was using my blood to heal itself. 0

With its wings nearly restored, the Bat Demon kicked me away as I lay on my back on the playground. It held its fang with a sinister grin as it looked down at me. 0

"Cough, cough." Blood flowed from my chest up to my throat, trickling down the corners of my mouth. 0

"Tsk, tsk, as expected from a Cultivator's blood," the Bat Demon licked its sharp teeth. "It smells even better than that of those virgins." 0

Enduring the excruciating pain, I pressed my hand against the wound, which had already begun to turn pale, devoid of any fresh blood. 0

The magical energy within me was nearly depleted, and the light sword in my hand had lost its Radiance, reverting back to just a hilt. I thought to myself that I was almost in a desperate situation. 0

With no trump cards left in my hand, my heart felt as cold as the evening wind. The Bat Demon had absorbed my blood and had fully recovered to its peak state. It flew into the air, looking down at me with disdain. 0

"How's that?" The Bat Demon kicked me mid-air, sending me flying. "Still want to meddle?" 0

I skidded along the ground for several meters before crashing into a Basketball Hoop and rolling to the edge of the playground. I felt as if my viscera were about to shift, blood gushing from my mouth like it was free. This was after the Daoist Robe had absorbed most of the impact. Lying on the ground, I gasped for air amidst the smell of blood, sweat pouring down my forehead like a river. This was the first time I had been beaten so badly. 0

The Bat Demon seemed to revel in this scene, clenching its fists and taking a deep breath. Suddenly, a surge of black mist erupted from its body, swirling around it three times before completely merging into the Bat Demon. 0

It was as if the Bat Demon were a balloon that had suddenly been inflated; its muscles bulged and veins popped out like worms. Its wings folded behind its back, and its legs straightened out, displaying exaggerated muscles—now, aside from its face, the Bat Demon resembled a human. 0

Still hovering in mid-air but now towering at about two meters tall instead of one point two, it approached me step by step while holding two sharp fangs. 0

I struggled to sit up but couldn't help but bitterly smile inside. This time, after pretending to be strong, there would be no escape... 0

A flash of light streaked through the air as a spear shorter than an ordinary long spear shot straight at the Bat Demon's back. The Bat Demon didn’t have time to dodge. In an instant, blood splattered everywhere as the spear lodged itself into its shoulder. 0

I recognized that spear; it was Red Boy's Fire Spear. 0

"Don't hurt Ango!" Red Boy's clear voice echoed from the night sky. Before he finished speaking, a Daoist figure blocked me. 0

Of course, it was Red Boy standing in front of me. He wore a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers, his fists clenched and body slightly leaning forward with an expression like a hen protecting its chicks. 0

"Another one," the Bat Demon said as it pulled out the Fire Spear from its back and tossed it aside. "Perfect; you have another companion for burial." 0

The last remark was clearly directed at me. 0

"Ango, wait a moment; I'll deal with this monster and then take you for treatment," Red Boy said as he prepared to strike. 0

"It's okay, I'm not going to die. You keep fighting, I can heal myself. Just hold on a bit and I'll come help you." 0

"No need." Red Boy waved his hand, and the Fire Spear obediently returned to his grasp. 0

Red Boy's signature move is True Fire, but the Niu Hong in front of me can no longer use True Fire, and the Bat's combat power is definitely not low, so I'm still quite worried about Red Boy. 0

Red Boy tapped the tip of the Fire Spear and softly said, "Go." 0

Red Boy moved quickly, so fast that he left an afterimage in place while he had already struck the Bat Demon. 0

The Fire Spear pierced through the Bat Demon's chest, directly penetrating the gunshot wound on its shoulder, creating a terrifying through-and-through injury. Then Red Boy moved to the back of the Bat Demon, grabbing the exposed tip of the spear and forcefully pulling it from its front chest to its back. 0

The Bat Demon instantly tore open, blood gushing from its chest as if it were free-flowing. 0

However, Red Boy was not in good shape either; his excessive speed caused him to crash directly into the Bat Demon's two sharp fangs, which stabbed straight into his abdomen. 0

Ignoring the fangs, Red Boy twisted the spearhead and continued to stab at the Bat Demon. Without its fangs, the Bat Demon dared not resist head-on. It spread its wings and lightly flapped them to fly into mid-air. 0

Red Boy threw the Fire Spear, which seemed to have a life of its own as it automatically chased after the Bat Demon. The Bat Demon dodged left and right in mid-air but could not evade the Fire Spear to attack Red Boy. Red Boy picked up a few stones from the ground and threw them at the Bat Demon. 0

Seeing it couldn't get close, the Bat Demon dodged the stones and summoned several clouds of corrosive black mist around Red Boy. Red Boy sneered, took out a bellyband he used to wear, which emitted golden light, causing all evil spirits to retreat. After all, that was a treasure bestowed by Guanyin Bodhisattva. 0
