The light of the Buddha slowly faded, and we returned to the forest by the shore. However, the Buddha Seal did not return to Senior Sister 6 Wan's neck but instead appeared in her eyes. 0

In Senior Sister 6 Wan's eyes, two lotus flowers emerged, and she suddenly became solemn and majestic. She slowly opened her mouth, but it was no longer her original voice; instead, it was a voice that sounded aged and weathered, yet holy and compassionate. 0

"Black Wuchang, bring her to me," 'Senior Sister 6 Wan' said. 0

Black Wuchang suddenly knelt on one knee: "As you command, Bodhisattva." 0

The only Bodhisattva who could make Black Wuchang kneel and obey would be Ksitigarbha, right? 0

'Senior Sister 6 Wan' slowly turned her head to look at me, and a faint smile appeared at the corner of her mouth. 0

"Very good," 'Senior Sister 6 Wan' said. 0

After saying this, Senior Sister's eyes began to return to normal and then transformed into a stream of light that entered my gourd. I understood why. At this moment, Senior Sister's soul was extremely weak; if she didn't quickly enter my gourd, she would dissipate into the ground. 0

Why do I feel like I'm becoming more and more like Calabash Baby? 0

The person who escaped from Red Boy and the one who previously attacked JZ Normal University should be from the same group, meaning they have not given up on continuing their plans against JZ Normal University or Wang Ni. Witches are now quite rare; there might not even be any in Three Rivers Water. Yet one appeared near JZ Normal University, and not long ago, hell was just raided, releasing countless ghosts. These events are hard not to connect; could it be the same person? But who has such immense power? 0

Currently, there aren't many Evil Cultivators left in the world, especially those with such high magical abilities. Why is there no record of them in historical texts? If they only started cultivating recently, then it would be Fang Ye Tan. Evil Cultivators indeed progress rapidly in their early cultivation stages, but like demons, they face Three Disasters and Six Calamities during their growth process. An Evil Cultivator who hasn't experienced calamities but possesses unmatched strength is easily susceptible to Evil Techniques invading their mind, leading them to madness and eventual death. 0

Thus, powerful Evil Cultivators are often quite old. Using corpses and corpse poison is still considered a lower method among Evil Cultivators, so I worry that this mysterious Evil Cultivator will use other mysterious means against us in the future. 0

However, the most important thing right now is still Senior Sister 6 Wan. The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Buddha Seal has appeared on her body, and the Bodhisattva specifically requested to see her. The Bodhisattva must have her own plans; perhaps these confusing matters will be resolved after meeting with the Bodhisattva. But dealing with Senior Sister 6 Wan's aftermath is also a troublesome matter. 0

I had mentioned this to Senior Sister 6 Wan before, but it was interrupted by Red Boy. It was already too late for those who had turned into bones at the riverbed; their souls had already become Evil Spirits, and with only bones remaining, it would be difficult to distinguish who was who. Since these individuals turned into Evil Spirits in search of substitutes, I felt no sympathy for them at all. 0

It's different for Senior Sister 6 Wan; she has the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Buddha Seal on her. Just considering her as my senior sister means I must help take care of her remains. 0

"19," Senior Sister said from within the gourd, providing a phone number: "This is my parents' number; just let them come." 0

I handed these matters over to Red Boy and instructed him to inform Uncle Xing about the previous Drowned Ghost and the escaped Evil Cultivator but to hold off on mentioning the Buddha Seal for now. I would report it myself after returning from hell. 0

I quickly returned to my underground garage, lay down on the bed, and immediately had an out-of-body experience. Black Wuchang had already left ahead of me, so I dove into the passage and headed to the Underworld. 0

I had arranged to meet Black Wuchang at the entrance of Yama's Hall. When I arrived, I found not only Black Wuchang but also White Impermanence and Dynasty Ma Han Zhang Long Zhao Hu together, seemingly waiting for someone. 0

"Who are you all waiting for? This looks serious," I greeted them. 0

"Shh." Among them, I was closest to Black Wuchang, who quickly pulled me aside. "First, release the girl with the Buddha Seal that you brought earlier, then take the souls I collected along with those Drowned Ghosts to Yama." 0

I wasn't sure what Old Black and the others were up to, but judging by his cautious expression, it seemed to be something important. So I followed his instructions. 0

Yama King was alone in the empty hall, reviewing some documents. He looked up only when I approached him. 0

"You've arrived?" Yama King paused his writing and spoke. 0

"Yes." I handed him the gourd. "Here are over a dozen Drowned Ghosts and one Horizontal Death Ghost that Old Black left with me. How should we handle this?" 0

"You don't need to worry about that. The Drowned Ghosts will go to hell first, and the Horizontal Death Ghost should be handed over to the Judge." Yama King took the gourd and released the spirits inside. 0

The female ghost of Accidental Death stood still after coming out, but the Drowned Ghosts lunged at Yama King, their bodies surrounded by wisps of Blood Qi. 0

Yama King snorted coldly and picked up the Judgment Wood beside him, slamming it down hard. As the Judgment Wood struck, two rows of Ghost Messengers holding chains and clubs appeared in the previously empty hall. At the same time, a strong wind swept from where the Judgment Wood fell, scattering the Drowned Ghosts that were charging at Yama King. 0

Taking advantage of their unsteady footing, the Ghost Messengers used their wooden clubs and chains to bind each Drowned Ghost and force them down onto the ground. 0

"First, give them fifty warning strikes!" Yama King's authoritative voice echoed through the hall. 0

The Ghost Messengers lightly tapped their wooden clubs on the ground in acknowledgment before raising their sticks to begin striking at the Drowned Ghosts. 0

Unlike how criminals are portrayed being hit in television shows, punishment in hell is directly aimed at their heads or can even strike at their souls. 0

As the Blood Qi from the Drowned Ghosts was gradually stripped away with each strike from the Ghost Messengers, it was immediately consumed by several wisps of Ghost Fire that burned it completely away. 0

The Drowned Ghosts in the hall initially had blank expressions, but as the Ghost Messenger struck them, pain began to appear in their eyes. Eventually, someone—no, some ghost—started to wail and plead for mercy. 0

This indicated that the Drowned Ghosts had begun to break free from the control of Blood Qi and were starting to regain clarity. However, what awaited them next would be even more brutal punishment. 0

Good and evil will eventually be repaid! It is just that the time has not yet come! 0

The Drowned Ghosts were also Accidental Death Ghosts. Accidental Death Ghosts were not considered sinful; their sin lay in taking others as substitutes for their own lives. Although they were instigated by the Witch, ultimately, the sins were theirs alone to bear. 0

A Judge emerged from the back hall, leading the Red-Clad Drowned Ghost away with a chain. Meanwhile, the Ghost Messengers finished their intimidation tactics and escorted the dozen or so Drowned Ghosts towards hell. 0

"Come on," Yama King said as he observed the situation in front of him being resolved. He stood up and gestured for me to follow him. "Let's go meet that esteemed one." 0

Esteemed one? Who in the Underworld could be greater than Yama King besides Ksitigarbha? Mentioning Ksitigarbha would earn respect from anyone, but now Yama King referred to someone as esteemed? Who could this esteemed one be? 0

As Yama King and I reached the entrance of Yama's Hall, a powerful beast roar echoed from afar. The cries of ghosts in hell suddenly ceased, falling into silence. However, this silence did not carry any eerie feeling; even in the usually grim atmosphere of hell, there was a sense of peace that did not make one feel uncomfortable. 0

As the beast's roar gradually diminished, a massive four-legged creature began to emerge in the distance. 0

The beast was enormous; its form was visible even from afar. With each step it took, clouds of dust were kicked up. 0

When the beast drew closer, we could finally see its appearance. The creature was a deep azure color and about the size of an elephant but resembled a gigantic lion more closely. Its eyes were like bronze bells, with long fangs and a single horn on its head. On its back rested a bright red lotus platform, beside which burned a green lamp. 0

I leaned forward to look at the lotus platform, wondering which Deity could warrant Yama King greeting them at the door. 0

At first, the lotus platform was empty, with nothing on it except for the flickering flame of the green lamp. 0

Black Wuchang slapped my forehead: "What are you standing there for? Hurry up and pay your respects." 0

"To whom should I pay my respects?" I gestured upward: "There's no one up there." 0

"What are you looking up there for? Just pay your respects to it," Old Black pointed at the giant beast. 0

"Who is this?" I asked Black Wuchang. 0

"I am the spirit beast Listening to the Truth under Ksitigarbha," the giant beast replied. "The Bodhisattva instructed me to come here to take away a soul." 0

It is known that both the Bodhisattva and Buddha like to keep some animals. Manjushri Bodhisattva has a lion, and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva has an elephant. Guanyin Bodhisattva keeps a black bear to watch over the back mountain. Even Tathagata Buddha has a Golden-Winged Peng Bird on his head. 0

The spirit beast under Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is Listening to the Truth. Born in the Hell's Blood Sea, Listening to the Truth was later enlightened by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and became the guardian spirit of the Underworld. 0

It is said that Listening to the Truth understands literature and geography, and can discern the truth from falsehood in the world. The true and false Monkey King was also identified by Listening to the Truth. However, at that time, Listening to the Truth did not dare to speak up, probably fearing a beating from the Six-Eared Macaque. 0

However, it cannot be denied that Listening to the Truth possesses great powers; in the Underworld, its status is even half a level higher than that of Yama King. 0

What Listening to the Truth was referring to should be 6 Wan Xuejie. With a gesture from Black Wuchang, Listening to the Truth swayed its lotus platform, and 6 Wan Xuejie's soul was absorbed into the green lamp beside the lotus platform. 0

Listening to the Truth showed no signs of hesitation, glanced at me, and turned to leave. Despite its massive size, it moved swiftly and soon disappeared from our sight. 0

With Listening to the Truth's departure, the cries of ghosts in hell reemerged. 0

"Is that it?" I looked at Yama King in surprise. 0

"Listening to the Truth used to be quite talkative, saying whatever came to mind. Once, it even revealed the color of Ksitigarbha's underwear, and after getting beaten for it, it hasn't dared to speak much since." 0
