‘Drunken Hero’ KTV, while on the surface a place for singing, is far more complex than it appears. It is not only the largest KTV in J City, but also the biggest underground casino, the largest Bathhouse, and the deepest waters. 0

Individuals like Zhao Kuan, who have made a name for themselves in the underworld, take pride in being able to spend at Drunken Hero. I can imagine Zhao Kuan will boast about this experience to his peers for a long time to come. 0

If it weren't for this mission, I probably would never have any connection with this KTV in my lifetime. Because the waters here are so deep and murky, Shaoming and I had already left a mark of spiritual awareness on each other when we entered, as a precaution against danger. (Mine is called spiritual awareness, while Shaoming's is called Fox Thought; they have different names but are essentially the same.) 0

Just now, I suddenly felt that Shaoming's Fox Thought had vanished! What does this mean? It means something must have happened to Shaoming! 0

I quickly ran back to the private room where Wang Lin and the others were, but I couldn't see Shaoming anywhere. 0

"Isn't that the guy who ran away?" someone greeted me. "What? Back for a penalty drink?" 0

I ignored him and went straight for Wang Lin, who was up on stage fighting over the microphone with a group of people. 0

I yanked Wang Lin off the stage and pulled him out of the private room by his collar, much to everyone's astonishment. This time, no one dared to stop me. 0

Once outside the room, I threw Wang Lin onto the ground. "Where's your aunt?" 0

Wang Lin referred to Shaoming as his aunt. 0

"Aunt Shao? I don't know; wasn't she just sitting there drinking?" Wang Lin seemed still stunned from being pulled out of the room. 0

It appeared that Wang Lin hadn't paid any attention to Shaoming's whereabouts and was completely clueless. 0

“Pixiu, can you smell Shaoming's scent?” I asked, looking down at the jade pendant around my neck. 0

Ever since the incident with Wang Ni, Pixiu seemed to enjoy transforming into a jade pendant. Since living creatures cannot be stored in my Seed Bag, I had no choice but to wear it around my neck. This way, it would be convenient to ask questions if any issues arose. As a divine beast, Pixiu has an excellent sense of smell. 0

The jade pendant transformed into a streak of light and landed on the ground, taking on the form of Pixiu. It sniffed around before confirming a direction, pointed at me, and then dashed off following the scent. 0

"Stay here and don't go anywhere," I instructed Wang Lin before quickly following behind Pixiu. 0

"The scent ends here," Pixiu said after running for a while. 0

I looked up; wasn't this the elevator? Had Shaoming gone upstairs or left already? 0

"Wait, that person seems to have a strange smell," Pixiu pointed at a man in a black suit standing at the stairway. 0

"What kind of smell? Yin Qi or demonic energy?" 0

"Neither," Pixiu replied, then sniffed hard. "It's a very complex scent; I've never smelled anything like it before. If I had to describe it, there's a hint of blood." 0

"Blood?" I asked, confused. "So does that mean he's suspicious?" 0

"Not far from the truth; this isn't the usual scent of blood," Pixiu said. 0

As long as there was something unusual, it meant there was a breakthrough. The scariest thing was dealing with matters that were completely unclear. Since the guard in the black suit was suspicious, he would be my next target! 0

Acting as if nothing was wrong, I walked to the stairway. The elevator wasn't far from the stairs, but for some reason, there was a person guarding it, seemingly preventing anyone from using the stairs to go up. 0

"Stop!" Sure enough, before I could even step onto the stairs, I was blocked by the black-suited man. 0

"I want to go upstairs; can't I go through here?" I asked deliberately. 0

"This is a fire escape; you can't enter freely," the black suit replied, taking a stance. "If you want to go upstairs, take the elevator." 0

"I'm just going up one floor; waiting for the elevator is too much trouble." 0

"That's not allowed either," the black suit refused. 0

"I can't be blamed for this," I said ominously. 0

"Ah!!!" The Black Suit had not reacted in time before I struck him down with a swift chop, leaving him lying on the ground with a soft groan. 0

I dragged the Black Suit into an empty booth nearby and took off his suit to wear it myself. This way, I could blend in without much trouble. 0

Fortunately, my luck was good; the Black Suit's size was similar to mine, so his clothes fit me well. If I had encountered a heavier person, wearing their suit would have made it obvious that I was pretending. 0

I patted the suit on my body and lowered my head, sneaking into the staircase. As for Pixiu, being a divine beast, how could it possibly hide its form? Moreover, ordinary people couldn't see it anyway! 0

Once I entered the staircase, I realized there were no lights installed. This deepened my suspicion about this place; in such an extravagantly decorated location, how could they skimp on a few lights? It didn't make sense! 0

I was currently on the third floor of Drunken Hero, which was a high-end KTV booth area. One floor up was the Bathhouse, and the fifth floor was a Game Room, essentially a casino. 0

There were no hidden compartments or anything like that in the staircase as I had imagined, nor were there any people—just a special staircase without lights. It wasn't very wide either; at most, two people could walk side by side. This width might be sufficient for an ordinary fire escape, but for a large entertainment venue like Drunken Hero, it seemed merely for show. 0

Finally, there was some light above, but unlike the third floor where guards were stationed, I could faintly hear women's voices. 0

Could that be where the missing Dozens of Girls were? No way; I had to check it out. I exchanged a glance with Pixiu, which obediently transformed into a Radiance and turned back into a jade pendant. 0

Pixiu couldn't cast spells and as a divine beast, its only unique trait was its large appetite. Since its only combat ability was one technique, it was better to become a jade pendant to avoid getting separated from me. 0

Unsure of what was happening outside, I hesitated to rush in. What if those girls were being coerced? If I barged in and they decided to harm them, what would happen? After all, it concerned someone else's safety; it was better to be cautious. 0

"Official Blessing, All Restrictions Lifted!" I performed a spell and set up a Barrier to ensure my actions wouldn't be seen. 0

The so-called Barrier was merely a thin protective shield formed around me using magical energy; it wasn't a spell or Taoist arts—just a simple application of magic. 0

However, even the simplest things can become complex when mastered. Among those I knew, no one set up Barriers better than my master—the guy I referred to as Pervert. My master could set up Barriers without needing incantations or hand signs; he just had to wave his hand. Unlike me, whose Barriers could either hide my form or silence my presence but would shatter if anyone touched them. 0

However, Pervert's Barrier can be used as a door! It's even explosion-proof! I remember when he first asked me to cook for myself, I didn't know how to start a fire and could only use gas. One time, due to my improper handling, I accidentally ignited the gas tank. Just as it was about to explode, Pervert rushed into the kitchen and wrapped me in a Barrier. At that moment, I was so scared that I lost my ability to think and just collapsed on the floor. In the end, the gas tank didn't cause any harm because Pervert isolated it with a Barrier. 0

So even though I had never seen Pervert cast a Spell, I was certain he was incredibly strong. 0

Now, people outside couldn't see me through the Barrier, but I still couldn't make too much noise; otherwise, I would be noticed. 0

Finally, I returned to the light, but the scene before me left me stunned. The guards at the Hallway Entrance made me easily associate this place with the source of the missing Dozens of Girls. So I was prepared for battle, but when I actually saw the truth, I was dumbfounded. 0

The exit really was filled with girls, but I could tell for sure that they were not those missing girls. Just looking at their outfits confirmed it—heavy makeup, stockings, high heels; each one seemed to wear skirts so short they might as well have price tags on them. 0

How could I forget? The fourth floor is a Bathhouse! Do you really think a place like Drunken Hero operates as a legitimate Bathhouse? If it were me, I wouldn't believe it either! At that moment, I understood why outsiders weren't allowed on this staircase; this was the reason! It turns out I've stumbled into a den of iniquity! 0

Fortunately, I'm currently inside a Barrier. If I hadn't been cautious and just walked in like that, the consequences would have been unimaginable! 0

There are no good people here! They probably wouldn't just throw you out; you'd be stripped bare! 0

Just then, a Sister who seemed to have just finished 'working' walked in, complaining as she went. She casually tossed her already soaked underwear out. 0

Coincidentally, the thrown underwear came straight for me and broke through my Barrier, heading right for my face. 0

When I appeared in front of those Sisters, there was a lacy thong dangling from my head. 0
