The air in the room suddenly turned cold, almost reaching freezing point.
"Human!" the Vampire Woman shrieked, her voice sharp enough to shatter glass. "You will not ruin my plans!"
Plans? It seemed that everything had already been premeditated by this Blood Demon.
"That won't do," I said coldly, furrowing my brows. "Upholding justice is the duty of every Cultivator. Under this vast sky, how can you demons disrupt the peace?"

However, I was still wearing the Azure Flower Robe. The defensive power of the Azure Flower Robe is well-known; even Zombie Ba couldn't break through its defenses. So the attack on my shoulder blade was blocked by the Daoist Robe, but my throat was not so easily defended against. Only one of the Vampire Woman's nails managed to hit me, but that single nail, while avoiding my windpipe, pierced straight through my neck!

"You dare?" The Vampire Woman flew up and kicked Pixiu off the bed.
