Lingfeng slightly nodded and shifted her gaze towards Enchanting.
The female disciples covered their mouths and giggled, already understanding, and each began to cast their spells, creating ice sculptures in the courtyard.
"Senior Sister, I came to learn Flowing with Water from Enchanting," Lingfeng said with a slight bow, her expression unchanged.
"Alright, Enchanting, you may go," the master replied.
"Yes, Master!" Enchanting lowered her head and then walked ahead.
The two arrived at Red Water Lake, initially silent. Lingfeng undressed but noticed that Enchanting had turned her head away. After a mischievous smile, she softly asked, "Enchanting, why aren't you looking at me?"
Enchanting shook her head and gently replied, "You took off your clothes; how can I look at you?"
Lingfeng glanced at herself and saw she still had one pair of pants on. She laughed nonchalantly, "No worries, I still have one pair of pants left. Just turn back; I won't take off the remaining pants!"
Only then did Enchanting slowly turn back but still kept her head down.
"Shall we start now?" Lingfeng had already stepped into the water.
Enchanting did not respond directly but said, "Flowing with Water means separating the water from your body. As disciples of Water Peak, we can directly use spells to achieve this effect. However, you need to use your True Qi to wrap around yourself so that you can breathe and move freely in the water."
"Oh, so that's how it is!" Lingfeng recalled the membrane that protected her when she was in Windhowl Valley; it had a similar effect. Thinking this way, Flowing with Water didn't seem too difficult after all.
Lingfeng circulated her True Qi in the water and then dove in.
The water in Red Water Lake was indeed rainwater. Although it was at the peak of Water Peak and received sunlight daily, the temperature remained quite low.
Once fully submerged, Lingfeng felt a sudden drop in body temperature. She quickly released her True Qi to activate her meridians and gradually felt her body warming up again.
Lingfeng dared not make large movements in the water since she could only stay submerged for about a minute. If she ran out of oxygen, she would have to surface for air. However, Lingfeng was determined to learn Flowing with Water in that short time so she could better master the Water Control Technique.
Unfortunately, Lingfeng struggled to learn it successfully. By the third time she surfaced for air, she noticed Enchanting standing anxiously on the shore; it seemed she was worried about Lingfeng.
Lingfeng smiled sheepishly and secretly gathered strength in her hand before suddenly pushing against the water with a palm. A splash erupted from her hand and directly drenched Enchanting.
A bird flew nearby, gradually disappearing into the distance.
“Lingfeng, let's continue practicing. Follow me!” Enchanting spread Lingfeng's arms and pulled him deeper into the water.
The lake water gradually submerged both of their heads, and with the emergence of a few bubbles, they completely vanished beneath the Lake Surface.
The lake was dim and boundless. Lingfeng struggled to open his eyes and could only see Enchanting's hazy face. That blurry feeling was uncomfortable, as if the person in front of him was about to disappear.
Enchanting gently waved a hand, and the haziness in front of them gradually lessened. The pressure of the water around them disappeared, replaced by an inexplicable sense of ease. Looking at Enchanting again, her face became clearer. Those eyes, a pair of delicate lips, and her adorable face gradually revealed themselves.
“Lingfeng, I have set up the Aura. You can breathe freely now,” Enchanting said softly while holding Lingfeng's hand tightly.
Lingfeng could hardly believe it and looked around with skepticism. Indeed, it felt like an additional protective layer had formed around them, isolating them from the external water currents.
Lingfeng tried to breathe again; although it wasn't as free as in the air, it was sufficient.
“Is this what Flowing with Water feels like? How magical!” Lingfeng couldn't help but exclaim.
Fish swam freely around them, and the plants and phosphorescent stones at the bottom of the lake were clearly visible. It felt as if they were in a dragon palace, carefree and at ease.
“Yes, this is Flowing with Water,” Enchanting replied. “Once you learn this Spell, not only will your Water Control Technique improve significantly, but you will also be able to play freely underwater!”
Lingfeng poked a finger gently at the Membrane; although it could break, it tightly wrapped around his finger. After he retracted his finger, the Membrane returned to its original state.
“First, channel your True Qi. Then I will separate the Membrane, and you can try to control it yourself.”
Lingfeng nodded and immediately channeled his True Qi again, only to find that the space they were in became even more spacious.
Although Enchanting used magic, her cultivation level was still inferior to Lingfeng's. While Lingfeng didn't understand this Spell well, his True Qi was abundant, allowing him to create a much larger space than Enchanting could.
“All set!” Enchanting recited another incantation and then released Lingfeng's hand.
Suddenly, the space between them contracted sharply, gradually isolating them from each other and forming a gourd shape. After a while, the connection in the middle completely loosened, creating two independent spaces.
Lingfeng was overwhelmed with joy as he slowly drew back the True Qi to his Dantian, trying to master the control of the Membrane. In no time, he had grasped the method of movement, effortlessly shifting and maneuvering up and down.
Enchanting glided over gently from the side, her flowing dress swaying, her feet unseen, resembling a mermaid dressed in clothing.
Once again, Lingfeng was captivated by Enchanting, his mind gradually relaxing, unaware that the Membrane was slowly thinning.
However, Enchanting noticed this change. She swam to Lingfeng's side and pulled him into her Membrane, patiently explaining, "This Membrane connects to your thoughts through True Qi. If your mind becomes chaotic or you focus your attention elsewhere, your Membrane will rupture. Do you understand? This can be very dangerous when you are unguarded!"
Normally, people inside the Membrane breathe evenly and do not take deep breaths intentionally. If the Membrane were to break, those inside would choke on water, easily leading to drowning accidents.
Lingfeng finally came to his senses and looked at Enchanting with an apologetic expression. He then actively separated the Membrane from Enchanting's and began circling around her, no longer daring to be careless.
The lake gradually darkened, and their vision became increasingly blurred until it was completely dark.
The two were so engrossed in playing in the water that they lost track of time. When they surfaced, they realized that the sun had already begun to set in the west; it was evidently afternoon. Unbeknownst to them, they had been playing for an entire morning.
Once on shore, Lingfeng used his energy to dry his shorts. Enchanting employed the Water Control Technique to transform the water on her body into a Water Snake, naturally leaving her clothes relatively dry.
Just as they were about to head back, they heard shouts coming from not far away: "Shixu! Senior Sister!"
