Lingfeng looked at Elder Yang with confusion, seeing his eager expression.
"Where did this stone tablet come from?" Lingfeng asked.
"It fell during the last meteor shower. I stumbled upon it and felt it must be a sign from the Sun God, so I decided to leave it here, waiting for someone who could break the formation. Finally, that person has arrived!" The person who could break the formation was clearly Lingfeng.
The meteor shower was simply what we refer to as a Meteor Shower.

Elder Yang smiled and said, "That formation may seem simple, but without profound cultivation and intelligence, one cannot pass through it." After a pause, Elder Yang continued, "This formation was left by the Ancient Sun Messenger and has lost much of its essence over time. However, it still retains some of its formidable aspects!"
"I don't see anything impressive about that formation. Although it's called the Fire Protection Formation, I've only seen some sparks; there hasn't been any flame attacking me!" Lingfeng replied.
Elder Yang was taken aback for a moment before saying, "That's because you haven't reached the center of the formation yet. Once you do, you'll be engulfed in flames. Moreover, this formation extends nine layers deep; even those with high cultivation cannot escape by flying!"
Lingfeng fell silent, pondering, "The Fire Control Technique is most incompatible with Water Control or Earth Control Techniques because fire will be extinguished by water and earth. Therefore, this formation cannot be laid underground and can only go straight up to nine layers. If I can escape using the Earth Escape Technique, then this formation is indeed extraordinary!"
"Have you figured it out?" Elder Yang gently asked as he noticed Lingfeng deep in thought.

"No!" Elder Yang shook his head. "We will unconditionally obey the Sun God's instructions!"

"But..." Lingfeng felt another concern rising within him.
"But what?"
Lingfeng looked at Elder Yang with some difficulty and said, "If I want to learn the Fire Protection Formation, it will take a long time, but I have other matters to attend to, so I’m afraid I cannot stay here for long!"
Now that Lingfeng had obtained the Demon Relic, he believed that the most urgent task was not to improve his cultivation but to take the Demon Relic back to the Demon Suppression Sect immediately. The more Elder Yang watched, the more delighted he became, his eyes fixed on Lingfeng without blinking.
"Watch closely now!" Lingfeng reminded him suddenly and said, "Rise!"
The ball of flame seemed to understand Lingfeng's command and gently floated into the air. Then Lingfeng recited an Incantation, and that ball of flame began to grow to the size of a soccer ball, though its shape remained pointed at both ends, resembling an egg.
Elder Yang couldn't help but exclaim in surprise; even Lingfeng was astonished. It had been a long time since Lingfeng had used the Fire Phoenix Soars spell. Previously, he could only summon a fireball the size of an egg, but now it had grown to the size of a soccer ball.
Eager to see what the grown Fire Phoenix looked like, Lingfeng slowly used his spiritual power to summon it. This time, the Fire Phoenix did not break free from an eggshell but directly transformed from that fireball as if it had been curled up into a ball all along. Upon hearing Lingfeng's call, it stretched its body and grew to the size of a rooster.

Fire Phoenix broke free from Lingfeng's restraint, like a large bird that had just stepped out of its cage, circling in the sky and letting out a hoarse cry.
"I never expected your fire control ability to be this powerful!" Elder Yang couldn't help but exclaim.
Lingfeng smiled proudly and replied, "I didn't expect it either. I haven't used this Spell for a long time, and I didn't think I would improve so much!"
Elder Yang nodded, then picked up a wooden board from the corner and said to Lingfeng, "Why don't you test the power of Fire Phoenix?" After speaking, he threw the wooden board into the air.
"Fire Phoenix, attack that wooden board!" Lingfeng understood Elder Yang's intention and commanded the empty Fire Phoenix.
Fire Phoenix let out an excited cry, flapped its wings made of flames twice, then opened its sharp beak and unleashed a burst of intense fire that struck the center of the wooden board perfectly.
The wooden board was hit by Fire Phoenix's attack and ignited violently as if it were made of flammable paper.
"It seems that you can now use Fire Phoenix in battle!" Lingfeng murmured as he watched Fire Phoenix.
However, amidst the excitement, Elder Yang unexpectedly asked a question that left Lingfeng speechless: "But this Fire Phoenix Soars can only be achieved with the Fire Control Technique from Mandala Demon Realm. How did you learn it?"
Lingfeng never anticipated that Elder Yang would ask this question, nor did he realize that Fire Phoenix Soars was indeed a unique fire control Spell from Mandala Demon Realm.
After a moment of silence, Lingfeng awkwardly smiled and said, "Actually, I learned it secretly!"
"Secretly?" Elder Yang looked at Lingfeng skeptically and asked, "But the guards in Mandala Demon Realm are strict. How did you manage to learn it? Moreover, the Fire Control Scripture is a high-level Spell manual; Mandala Demon Realm must have excellent protective measures. How did you obtain it?"
"Well..." Lingfeng felt a bit guilty but hesitated about whether he should tell him about infiltrating Spirit Sect.

Lingfeng did not know what Elder Yang wanted, but thought that this Divine Fork Yang State was originally a state that specialized in Fire Control Technique. Given that, it was not surprising that the Fire Control Scripture was the treasure of this state.

Before long, those fireballs transformed into fire clusters, accompanied by roaring flames as some of the fire began to fall around Elder Yang.
At the same time, Lingfeng could clearly see that those flames did not harm Elder Yang, but his chest was heaving violently. Meanwhile, Lingfeng, standing nearby, could feel the heat of the flames.
"These flames contain an aura of hellfire; they are different from ordinary flames. Could it be that this fire is..." Lingfeng took a few steps back, but the heat had already filled the entire hall. Moreover, the stones on the ground where the flames fell had begun to slowly melt.
