At first, the guards were puzzled by the arrival of Sister Freya at the training ground. However, after she defeated a powerful captain with just a few strikes, the entire guard began to see her in a new light. 0

Moreover, due to her beautiful figure and outstanding swordsmanship, she gradually earned the nickname "Green Flower." 0

On the field, an unfamiliar Guard Member seized an opportunity and made a horizontal slash toward Damsdin's opening. 0

"Bang!" 0

The sound of wooden swords clashing echoed as Damsdin swiftly parried the attack with his sword. Then, with a calm gaze, he suddenly extended his empty left hand and grabbed the Guard Member, who was still in motion and unable to retract his sword. 0

In an instant, Damsdin's already muscular arm swelled again, and with immense strength, he lifted the equally matched Guard Member and slammed him down hard onto the ground. 0

"Thud!" 0

A loud noise mixed with thick dust spread out, and one could vaguely see the figure of the Guard Member in the center. 0

The onlookers around erupted in cheers; clearly, this was not their first time witnessing such a scene. 0

The battle concluded, and the outcome was obvious. 0

Freya did not linger any longer; she turned around and headed back along the path she came from, her mind still replaying the earlier scene. 0

Damsdin was the vice-captain promoted by Howard Bailey himself. He possessed strength close to Knight Level and fought using techniques taught by Howard Bailey—brutal yet shrewd. 0

As Freya walked along the path, she carefully contemplated the match between the two. If she had been in the position of that Guard Member, Freya realized that while she might not completely defeat Damsdin, at least she would not lose as miserably as that Guard Member did. 0

Furthermore, if the match had taken place in a more complex terrain rather than an open field, it might have been possible to wear him down gradually... 0

However, she also learned some special things from their battle that needed to be gradually integrated into her own swordsmanship. 0

Just as Freya was pondering how to improve her sword skills, a sudden sound of urgent hoofbeats came from afar. 0

On the road leading outside the castle, the Baron, clad in silver armor, rode on a White Steed, carrying a pure black greatsword on his back. Behind him was a group of cavalrymen in Half Armor and three large wagons covered with gray burlap. 0

Walking at the front, the Baron's expression was grim, and the heavy scent of blood made Freya frown slightly from a distance. 0

Soon, the Baron and the convoy arrived at the castle. 0

Everyone dismounted, and at the Baron's command, the burlap covering the wagons was lifted, revealing dozens of large wooden boxes to everyone's sight, which were then carried into the castle by the cavalrymen. 0

Seeing the boxes, Freya felt a bit dazed because she clearly saw a glimpse of bright gold through the gaps between them. 0

"It's gold!" Freya exclaimed in astonishment. 0

It was not hard to guess the origin of these ten large wooden boxes. 0

"Viscount Belta actually managed to produce ten boxes of gold even after being incapacitated... what does this mean?" Freya speculated, confused about the situation. 0

However, she did not want to inquire further into these matters; they were not her primary concern. 0

What mattered most to her now was to improve her swordsmanship and mindset. Other trivial matters were not as important since in this world, having power meant having everything. 0

Her bedroom remained simple, but there were now more items beside her desk. 0

A sheathed Cross Sword and a short dagger-like sword about thirty centimeters long. 0

These were things she had recently developed based on her past experiences and observations from training grounds—items that belonged solely to her. 0

The Cross Sword was for frontal combat, while the short dagger was meant for stealth attacks from hiding. 0

This unconventional approach had proven highly effective in Freya's simulations. Combined with Stiletto's two-stage strike, it could deliver fatal damage unexpectedly, catching opponents off guard. Even a Knight Level opponent might fall victim if they weren't cautious. 0

However, this combat style was still in the experimental phase; Freya was not yet fully proficient and needed more practice. 0

Picking up the Cross Sword and a short dagger, Freya practiced briefly in her bedroom before receiving a dinner notification from the maid. 0

The dining room, which should have been full, had only a few people scattered about, and neither the Baron nor Howard Bailey, along with several high-ranking guards who often appeared, were present. 0

After scanning the room, Freya took a seat, frowning as she picked up a bowl of thick white fish soup and took a light sip while glancing at the empty seats. 0

“Aunt Mary, where has Father gone?” Freya asked directly to Mary, who was standing behind her. 0

“It seems there was some trouble at the iron mine; the Baron and Howard Bailey left before dinner,” Mary replied. 0

“Oh.” Freya nodded. “By the way, do you know what happened?” 0

“Well… I’m not sure, but Damsdin should know. You can ask him later,” Mary said respectfully. 0

Mary was responsible for various chores within the castle, so she wasn’t very informed about special matters. 0

“Okay, got it.” Freya nodded, piecing together what she had seen at the training ground. 0

After dinner, Freya headed straight to the castle's library. 0

She had browsed through most of the books inside, but there were still some she hadn’t touched. 0

Taking out her key to unlock the door, she lit an oil lamp in the room with the candle in her hand. 0

Immediately, the dark room brightened up. 0

Freya walked down the corridor between the bookshelves and went directly to the last shelf, skillfully pulling out a thin booklet. 0

By the light of the flame, she slowly opened the booklet in her hands and suddenly found it was a folded map that surprisingly depicted the area around Green Territory. 0

Freya sat down on the floor and began to examine it carefully. 0

Following her finger, she quickly located the position of the iron mine. 0

"Sure enough..." Freya murmured. 0

In the regional map, the location of the iron mine was shown to be situated between Green Territory and Berta Territory, close to the edge of the forest, at the angle where the two territories meet. 0

Historically, the iron mine was the place where most incidents occurred each year. If anything happened in Green Territory, it would definitely be related to the iron mine. 0

"Berta actually went to great lengths to acquire this seemingly chaotic iron mine..." Freya frowned slightly. In a moment of distraction, she felt as if she had caught a hint of a clue, but she quickly shook her head, feeling it was somewhat unrealistic. 0

"That would be treason..." A flicker of uncertainty passed through her blue eyes as she slowly returned the map to its original state. 0

In this world, treason was the greatest crime, without exception. Even if someone successfully committed treason, they usually did not end well; after all, betrayal was an extremely shameful act, and that was true everywhere. 0

However, for a Viscount to commit treason seemed impossible. 0

Nonetheless, Freya kept this bold speculation in mind. 0
