Hearing Baron’s words, Freya was slightly taken aback. It should be noted that among the convoy, only the two of them were high-level Knights. If they both went out together, leaving the convoy unguarded, the consequences would be unimaginable. 0

"Don't worry, Damsdin is about to break through. His current strength is enough to handle ordinary incidents. If he really gets taken out instantly, then it wouldn’t matter if it were just the two of us!" Baron continued. 0

Seeing Baron's serious expression, Freya knew that persuading him was futile and could only nod in agreement. 0

"Everyone, halt! You two keep watch on either side, and the rest prepare for battle at any moment!" Baron instructed in a low voice. 0

The people around immediately followed the orders. 0

Baron took off the massive sword he had been carrying on his back and replaced it with a regular Cross Sword, which he hung at his waist. 0

"Let's go!" 0

"Okay!" Freya nodded, sniffed lightly to discern the direction, and then took the lead, running forward cautiously. 0

A faint stream of air surged from her legs, and the lightness made it so that even while sprinting quickly, the magical seed did not emit any glow. 0

Meanwhile, Baron behind her seemed to have used something as well, but there was no noise from him. 0

The Poison Star Grass quickly retreated without a trace, and the smell of blood in the air grew stronger. The sound of weapons clashing fiercely echoed in her ears. 0

Freya narrowed her eyes slightly and glanced back at Baron who was trailing behind her. Suddenly, a surge of energy enveloped her body, doubling her speed once again. 0

The grass she passed by remained undisturbed under her careful control. 0

Soon, in the distance amidst a large area of blue light spots, a fierce battle was underway. 0

Freya quietly slowed down her pace. Once Baron caught up with her, they found a slope close to the battle and quietly climbed up, lying in the grass to look down. 0

At this moment, Light's expression changed, and he immediately whistled a sharp sound. 0

Hearing the whistle, Baron suddenly raised his hand, and the carriage slowly came to a stop. 0

Freya picked up the Cross Sword beside her and jumped down from the carriage. She lightly sniffed the special scent in the air, increasingly convinced that something was happening ahead. 0

"What’s going on?" Baron rode over from the front, asking with confusion. 0

"There might be a situation ahead," Freya said, narrowing her eyes as she pointed forward. 0

Baron frowned as he looked in the direction Freya indicated. He sniffed the air and noticed a slight change in his expression; he too detected the smell of blood. 0

"What should we do, Father? Should we take a detour or camp here?" Freya asked, slightly serious. 0

It should be noted that while Sikou Prairie is not large, there is only one direct path out. It was getting close to evening, and if they strayed off course in this vast sea of green without the sun or other directional indicators, it would be easy to get lost. 0

After a brief hesitation, Baron thought for a moment and said, "Let’s not rush into a decision. We should first investigate what exactly is happening ahead! Although Sikou Prairie is a no-man's land, there aren’t many experts here. If it’s just easy prey, we can crush them directly!" 0

"Alright! Then I’ll go take a look," Freya nodded in agreement with Baron’s decision. 0

"You?" Baron frowned slightly, revealing a look of concern in his eyes. 0

Understanding her father's worries, Freya smiled slightly and pointed to the grass seeds beside the wheel that were still emitting blue star-like glimmers. "If it were anyone else in this environment, they would definitely be exposed. It's better for me to go alone; if things go wrong, being a single target makes it easier for me to escape." 0

Baron unconsciously nodded; he understood this reasoning. Moreover, he knew that Freya's strength had gradually caught up with him. However, since she was his daughter, he couldn’t help but worry regardless. 0

After pondering for a moment, Baron suddenly said, "I’ll go with you!" 0

"Uh..." 0

In the vast expanse of blue light, Freya could vaguely see in the distance a group of people, dressed in tattered clothing and wielding rusted weapons, surrounding two white carriages and launching an attack. 0

Surrounding the two carriages were five or six swordsmen in light armor, using the carriages as cover while continuously defending against the onslaught. 0

Several corpses lay on the ground, indicating that the battle had been ongoing for some time. 0

Although the swordsmen were formidable, they were struggling against the sheer number of attackers, gradually showing signs of being overwhelmed. 0

In addition to the shouts of battle, Freya could faintly hear the cries of a child. 0

"These are just ordinary bandits from the prairie robbing them!" Baron whispered to Freya. 0

"Is this a robbery?" Freya frowned slightly. She knew some of the bandits' rules; if one honestly offered a certain amount of wealth, most bandits would let them go. However, this group seemed intent on killing without negotiation, attacking the carriages with lethal intent. 0

"Yes, this is Sikou Prairie. The bandits here are more ruthless and cunning than those in other places. If they encounter a weaker convoy, they will rob and kill without mercy. But if it's a stronger convoy, these guys might call for other bandits to join in the attack; they are quite despicable." 0

As Baron explained, it seemed that the convoy below was reaching a breaking point. 0

A swordsman who could not withstand the pressure was suddenly struck in the shoulder by a blade, causing him to let out a mournful cry. The other bandits seized the opportunity and swiftly attacked with their weapons. 0

Before long, that swordsman fell to the ground without any signs of life. 0

With this breakthrough, two more swordsmen were killed by a flurry of blades. 0

The cries of children mixed with women's sobs from within the carriage echoed out during this moment of impending despair. 0

This seemed to spur on the surrounding bandits, who began to howl and intensify their assault. 0

"Father, what should we do..." Freya quietly asked as she watched the battle below come to an end. 0

If this group of bandits broke through the defenses of the remaining three swordsmen and left after the robbery, then the convoy would pass by here safely, which would be a better decision for them. 0

But if they meddled, perhaps these bandits would call in others, leading to unnecessary trouble. 0

Without answering Freya's question, Baron furrowed his brow and stared at the two carriages, or rather at a round emblem behind them. 0

It resembled a simplified ship shape, with two hammers crossed above it, along with some letters. 0

"Claude... dock..." Freya squinted her eyes, only able to make out these few words due to an obstruction. 0

"It's Claude. Chabrol Dock! This is the largest shipyard in Daqier City that we are heading to next!" Baron's eyes lit up slightly. "If we save them, we might avoid some trouble finding a ship! Let's go save them!" 0

There was no time to waste; if they were even a minute late, the people inside the carriage could be killed directly by the bandits. 0

Upon hearing Baron's decision, Freya immediately drew her Cross Sword from her waist and dashed out like lightning. 0

As she ran, a chaotic surge erupted around her, her golden hair flying wildly as she charged toward the group of bandits with her strongest stance. 0
