Irena listened to Baron's introduction, her gaze wandering between the two before finally settling on Freya, who was dressed in a swordsman's outfit. She smiled and said, "Freya, I didn't expect you to have grown up so much. Are you still interested in horseback riding and hunting?"
The gentle teasing made Freya feel that Irena's memory of her was still from that time, but as soon as the words were spoken, the sense of unfamiliarity between them diminished significantly.
"No! I only ride occasionally!" Freya replied with a smile, looking at her sister, who felt both strange yet familiar.
In her past memories, Irena had always been a well-behaved and sensible girl. She possessed all the good qualities of a noble girl—gentle and kind. The only time she had shown stubbornness was in her choice of love.
To her surprise, after many years apart, Irena still looked just like she did back then. Time had not dulled any of her good traits, and judging by Irena's attire and demeanor, it seemed that her earlier stubbornness had indeed paid off.
Upon hearing Freya's response, Irena smiled again and greeted Eric.
"By the way, why haven't I seen Bode?" Baron suddenly interjected while the three were conversing.
Bode was Irena's husband, a genuine young businessman. However, his family was not limited to commerce; they were involved in various other industries as well.
"Bode went to Beccaca City and will be back in two or three days," Irena replied. Then she looked ahead at the horses and curiously asked, "Father, why didn't Aunt Mary come along?"
Baron's previously smiling face stiffened slightly as he spoke in a low voice, "We'll talk about this later. Let's head back first."
Baron's sudden change surprised Irena, but she quickly nodded and said, "Alright, let's go back."
A young woman, seemingly in her mid-twenties, stood quietly at the entrance of a manor with two maidservants, smiling as two carriages came to a stop, appearing to have waited for quite some time.
The woman's appearance bore some resemblance to Freya, but she lacked Freya's sharp demeanor and instead exuded a softer and more dignified presence.
"Father, welcome," her gentle voice flowed as she curtsied, lifting her skirt.
Baron smiled upon seeing the woman, jumped down from the carriage, and strode toward her.
"Irena, you must have been waiting long!"
Hearing the Baron's name, Freya, who had just stepped out of the carriage, paused slightly and turned to look at the unfamiliar woman who resembled her. Gradually, the vague images from her memories began to overlap, and she realized that this was her sister who had married off early.
Meanwhile, Eric, who had remained in the carriage, looked at her with confusion.
The Baron waved at them both, and once they approached, he took one of each of their hands and smiled at Irena.
"This is your younger brother and sister, Freya and Eric. It has been so long since you last saw them; perhaps you've forgotten."
"Sister Irena."
"Sister Irena."
Both siblings felt a bit reserved as they looked at the gentle woman before them.
Freya was somewhat okay; she still had some memories of Irena, though she felt a bit strange now. However, Eric had no recollection of Irena at all, which left him looking somewhat dazed.
Regarding the mutation of Green Castle, Baron only had a rough idea about it, so Irena was still unclear about the specific details.
Freya and Eric noticed Baron's demeanor and realized that the two of them needed to discuss something privately, so they consciously stayed back.
Walking side by side at the front, they listened to Baron's narration. Irena's expression gradually became serious, and her brows furrowed.
Due to the distance, Freya could only catch snippets of conversation. However, even if she could hear everything clearly, she wouldn't have been very interested; instead, she curiously surveyed the estate around her.
The layout of the entire estate resembled a large villa from her previous life, predominantly white with a hint of pale yellow, giving an overall impression of simplicity and cleanliness.
The marble-tiled floors, pavilions, and flower beds all reflected the owner's attention to detail in constructing this estate.
However, there weren't many servants in the estate. Along the way, Freya only encountered two or three, and each appeared to be in good spirits, suggesting that working here wasn't particularly strenuous.
Overall, it seemed that Irena was living well in Dragon Harbor.
Freya nodded slightly; living here didn't seem too bad. However, thinking about the aftereffects she was experiencing dampened her mood again.
"The rarity of Cursed Items, according to my father, only exists in the hands of nobles or powerful individuals. Since I can't obtain any information... perhaps I can only pursue these two avenues to acquire them!" A fleeting cold glint of murderous intent flashed in Freya's blue eyes.
The aftereffects were pressing; if not resolved soon, they could lead to unforeseen significant risks. If she were to release the pressure on her chest now, with her Knight Level peak strength, unless she was well-prepared beforehand, even Baron might struggle to control it. The consequences would be unimaginable.
Since Dragon Harbor is one of the most luxurious cities in Rudin Kingdom, there must be many nobles here. As long as she doesn't reveal any flaws, it might be worth a try...
Freya lowered her head, carefully considering the feasibility of the situation. Just as she was thinking about where to start, Baron and Irena, who were walking ahead, stopped in their tracks.
"Freya, come here! I have something to tell you," Baron waved his hand and called her over.
She raised her head and saw the joyful expression on Baron's face, walking over with curiosity. "What is it, Father?"
"I discussed it with your sister, and we've decided to send you to Dragon Academy for your studies," Baron said with a smile. "It's the perfect time since the academy is currently enrolling students. You should prepare yourself."
Baron's words caught her off guard. "But Father, we just arrived here, and you haven't settled down yet. How can I..."
"No need to say more!" Baron interrupted her, reassuringly saying, "Bailey's injury has healed, and Damsdin will break through to Knight Level in just a couple of days. I've already made decisions about what comes next!"
Although Baron spoke in a comforting tone, the determination in his words left no room for her to argue.
"Freya, you don't need to refuse. Since Father has already made up his mind, just agree," Irena chimed in with a smile. "Besides, I heard you originally intended to go to the academy; it was just delayed because of that incident. It's not too late now."
In truth, Freya felt slightly swayed by Baron's comforting words but still frowned and asked Irena, "According to Father, isn't Dragon Harbor very strict about knowledge management? We are not nobles right now..."
