He walked to the door on the right side of the large black iron gate and knocked with a special technique. 0

With a creak, the door slowly opened. 0

Albert stepped inside, and Freya followed closely behind. 0

As soon as they entered, the door slammed shut behind them. 0

Freya, carrying her suitcase, curiously looked around. It seemed she was in an area resembling a plaza, where several people dressed in gray robes like Albert hurried past, seemingly unaware of their destination. When these individuals noticed Freya in different clothing, they merely glanced at her out of curiosity before continuing on their way. 0

"Freya, right? Do you have a specific mentor in mind? If not, you can choose one first; this is a privilege for newcomers with recommendations," Albert suddenly asked her. 0

"Mentor?" Freya paused for a moment, then suddenly recalled Hegel's instructions. "Yes, it's Master Lisa from All Things Studies." 0

"Master Lisa? Are you sure?" Albert asked again for confirmation. 0

"Yes, that's correct," Freya nodded. 0

One of the two main reasons she came here was to apprentice under this wizard named Lisa. According to Hegel, Lisa also had some of his belongings that could help her accomplish the second task. 0

"Alright, I understand," Albert nodded and said no more as he continued to lead her forward. 0

After passing through the plaza-like area and winding around for quite some time, they finally arrived at a long corridor. 0

On both sides of the corridor, there were doors spaced at intervals, and at the very end stood the largest door. 0

"Master Lisa is in that room. You can go straight in to see her. Each area of the academy has signs that will help you find your way. My task is complete; if you have any questions, feel free to ask your mentor," Albert pointed to the door at the back. 0

"Thank you," Freya smiled and expressed her gratitude. 0

"Don't look anymore, I am the Rabbit Guardian of Elgreen Academy, you can call me Jim." The nearly half-human tall Gray Rabbit fixed its red eyes on the badge on Freya's left chest and said, "If you are a new apprentice, please show me your admission certificate." 0

"Is this yours?" Freya curiously looked at the large rabbit in front of her while taking out the certificate given by Hegel from her suitcase. 0

The Gray Rabbit named Jim hopped over to Freya's side, carefully examining the black leather booklet in her hand, then displayed a look of astonishment. 0

"To think it's a recommendation letter from Lord Taboli. Young lady, it seems you have come a long way." 0

Freya nodded noncommittally at the Gray Rabbit's words. 0

"Since you have an admission certificate, you may enter the Elgreen area. Someone will be there to assist you. Be careful not to go anywhere else besides this path; otherwise, don't blame me for not warning you." After finishing, the Gray Rabbit bounced away into the nearby bushes. 0

Freya watched with interest as it completely disappeared before retracting her gaze. 0

'Looks like I haven't taken a wrong turn.' She gazed toward the distant Black Building. 0

Twenty minutes later. 0

Although Freya continued along the path, the building in the distance still seemed just as far away, showing no signs of getting closer. 0

'Is that strange rabbit tricking me?' Freya frowned slightly as she looked down at the road, which was flanked by silent woods, not even a whisper of wind could be heard. 0

A strange feeling began to fill her heart. Freya turned around to look behind her but was astonished to find that the path she had just walked on had vanished, replaced by dense trees and thick layers of fallen leaves on the ground. 0

"What is going on?" She glanced around at the eerily quiet forest and felt an unsettling sensation in her heart. 0

Suddenly, deep within the woods, a black shadow darted through the grass with a rustling sound. The shadow had long ears on its head, resembling that rabbit from before. 0

"Hey! Is that you, Jim?" Freya called loudly toward the direction where the shadow had disappeared. Just as she was considering whether to chase after it, footsteps echoed from afar. 0

"Newcomer, if I were you, I wouldn't recklessly enter this forest." 0

Freya turned around and saw a young man, completely shrouded in a Gray Robe with only his head exposed, walking towards her from the path. 0

"Hello. Nice to meet you. I am your host, Albert. I was delayed by some matters, so I arrived a bit late." 0

"Hello. I am Freya, Freya Green." Freya spoke respectfully to the man in front of her. 0

"Mm." Elgreen seemed to have a cold personality, merely nodding slightly. "Follow me, but keep a distance of five meters; otherwise, it will be like before." 0

After Albert finished speaking, he did not wait for her response and directly returned the way he came. Freya had no choice but to hurry and catch up. 0

"May I ask, Lord Albert, what do you mean by 'like before'?" Freya looked back at the strange disappearing path behind her and asked respectfully. 0

"Don't call me 'Lord'; I can't bear that title." Albert said lightly without turning his head. "Did you not feel it earlier? No matter how you walk, the distance to the academy remains the same. That is a warning Magic Circle set by the academy. Without notification from the Rabbit Guardian or authorization from the academy, you cannot enter. If you recklessly enter this forest, you will encounter unknown dangers." 0

"Alright... I understand." Freya nodded knowingly. 0

"Mm." 0

Albert seemed to be the type of cold man who spoke little. Aside from answering Freya's initial question, he did not say another word. Although Freya had many questions in her mind, she felt it unnecessary to provoke him, so both of them continued on in silence. 0

After about ten minutes of walking, they finally arrived at the foot of the Black Building. 0

It was a massive Black Castle, with high walls extending around it; its exact length was unknown. Countless buildings protruded from the walls, and she even saw a tall black spire inside, with a circular Silver Clock hanging at its peak. 0

Even standing in front of the main gate, Freya could feel a subtle sense of oppression emanating from the Black Castle. 0

"We have arrived," Albert said to Freya after remaining silent throughout their journey. 0

"Mm." Albert nodded and turned to leave. 0

Freya turned her head, looking at the dimly lit corridor. She took a deep breath to calm herself, then strode forward. 0

'Knock, knock, knock' 0

The crisp sound of knocking echoed in the hallway. 0

"Come in, the door is not closed." A clear female voice came from behind the door. 0

Freya withdrew her hand from the door and grasped the doorknob. With a click, the door opened. 0

Feeling a bit nervous, Freya stepped into the room. 0

It was an office that resembled those of ordinary nobles. The mahogany floor was covered with a thick carpet, and at the back were two large bookshelves. In front was a black long table and a chair. 0

Freya looked around and noticed that there was only one young woman in a white robe with a slender figure watering the potted plants on the windowsill. (To be continued) 0
