Freya recalled the serious expression on Saradin's face when he entrusted her with these seeds, and she could imagine their lethal potential. 0

Gently placing the item back into her waist pouch and securing it alongside her pouch, Freya looked up at the rugged path ahead. 0

The thirty-kilometer journey was not too far; at the speed of a carriage, she could reach it in no time. 0

However, according to the information she had gathered, although that area currently belonged to ordinary people, the rate of disappearances there in recent years indicated something unusual. 0

"The data shows that those who go missing there are eventually found dead, but the conditions of their deaths are bizarre. Some show signs of being mauled by beasts, others bear bruises from heavy weapons, and some appear to have been scared to death... Moreover, the disappearances occur in a fixed cycle. If I'm not mistaken, it's likely the work of a malfunctioning Magic Circle," Freya pondered calmly. 0

Although the data indicated that the wizard's division still posed a danger, she could also infer that there must be valuable items within. Most importantly, by analyzing the timing and locations of these disappearances, she could specifically deduce the location of this division. 0

If she were lucky, she might even avoid the traps set by the Magic Circle and minimize unnecessary losses. 0

"Unfortunately, I couldn't find the name of this organization after reviewing all the materials. If I had known it, I could have prepared accordingly," Freya murmured with some disappointment. 0

It seemed that in her past life, every Wizard Organization specialized in different fields, such as potions, Cursed Items, Enchantment, combat, trade, and so on. For instance, Elgreen Academy focused on combat within the Negative Energy system; it was like an implicit label. Once one knew the name of an organization, they could generally understand its focus through research or other means and make appropriate preparations. 0

As for the place Freya was about to visit, aside from some basic information, she knew nothing else about it, which was quite troublesome. 0

However, even so, she felt compelled to see it for herself. If she were to retreat upon knowing there was danger, then she might as well have perished alongside Green Castle when it fell. 0

After organizing useful information in her mind, Freya began her daily meditation as usual. 0

Although simple meditation without a compatible magic array could no longer effectively increase her mental strength, she had developed a habit of meditating every day. 0

Feeling her mental strength expand and sensing the Energy Particles around her, Freya's already calm demeanor became even more tranquil. 0

Though her eyes were closed, she could still perceive every bump of the carriage and the rustling sounds from the surrounding forest. Occasionally, she heard faint noises from beasts moving through the trees. 0

Time passed without her noticing. When the wheels of the carriage rolled over a larger stone, Freya slowly opened her eyes. 0

The meditation had restored her spirit to its peak state, even better than sleep. 0

The surrounding trees had transformed into tall, deep green conifers, their lush branches blocking most of the sky and casting a dim light over the area. 0

Freya glanced around her environment; aside from the road beneath the carriage, there were trees everywhere, accompanied by a faint bitter smell of decaying leaves. 0

"By the time, we must have entered the Colt Forest." 0

Through layers of trees, she spotted an old wooden cabin not far away in the woods. It seemed to be a resting point built by hunters for convenience during their hunts. 0

However, the cabin was now covered by a thick layer of green vegetation. The door had warped from moisture and decay, appearing as if it had been abandoned for a long time, standing alone. 0

"Hehe." 0

Just as Freya withdrew her gaze, a girl's laughter suddenly came from beside the cabin. 0

The unexpected sound made Freya frown slightly, immediately alerting her. She quickly turned her gaze toward the source of the sound, but found nothing there. 0

The forest, which had previously held faint sounds, was now eerily quiet. 0

A subtle sense of unease began to fill her heart. 0

"Spirit?" 0

Freya scanned the dilapidated cabin and deftly drew her Black Dagger from her boot, applying a bit of golden powder to it. 0

"Hehe... Come catch me... Hurry..." Not long after, the girl's voice echoed again. 0

Swish! 0

At the moment the voice appeared, a Black Light was thrown out, embedding itself into the top of the wooden house with a thud. 0

"Hiss..." 0

The sound of corrosion rang out as Freya watched the black smoke rising from the tip of the dagger, narrowing her eyes slightly. 0

"These things again..." 0

The study of Spirit belonged to the realm of the Necromancy Department. Although she had done a lot of research on it, she still did not want to encounter them, as these creatures could not be understood by common reasoning. 0

"Hehe... Hurry and catch me... Hurry... You can't catch me... Hehe." 0

The voice came again, this time from a location not near the wooden house but seemingly from the road behind. 0

A faint cold wind carrying a mix of rotting corpse odor and sweet cream scent blew from that direction, making Freya feel somewhat nauseous. 0

In a daze, she vaguely saw a cute girl dressed in black burlap clothing, half of her body severely decayed, bouncing towards her with a wide grin. 0

"Damn it!" As she watched the girl approach, Freya felt goosebumps rise on the back of her neck. Without thinking, she quickly pulled out the remaining Sunlight Powder from her waist pouch and threw it. 0

Then, without looking at the result, she flicked her hand and sent a stream of black smoke flying towards the horse in front. 0

The horse-drawn carriage, which had been moving at a steady pace, suddenly doubled its speed. 0

"Hiss..." 0

The sound of corrosion echoed again, and Freya instinctively turned to take a look. 0

Amidst the swirling golden dust, a clear black humanoid silhouette suddenly appeared, resembling the child she had vaguely seen earlier. 0

A chilling sensation crept over her, prompting Freya to quickly turn away. 0

"Mom... Mom, don't you want me anymore... Mom... I'm so scared... That bear is chasing me... Mom... My body hurts so much... My hand..." 0

The tender, sobbing voice sent shivers down Freya's spine, as she realized that the source of the voice was right behind her. She could even smell the strong stench of decay. 0

Suddenly, she felt a coldness around her neck, as if a pair of hands were tightly gripping her. 0

"Get away!" 0

In a moment of panic, her energy and the thin Force Field around her erupted, creating a chaotic whirlwind that swept outwards from Freya's center. (To be continued) 0

P.S. Happy Valentine's Day. 0
