"Sir, is this what you are looking for?" Tom waved the Bamboo Grass in his hand as he ran towards Freya.
Taking the Bamboo Grass from him, Freya gently squeezed it, and a faint sour smell immediately wafted out.
"This is indeed the place." Sensing the aura of Negative Energy within it, Freya revealed a slight smile.
The energy activity and concentration in this area were twice as high as in other places. When Tom was searching for the Bamboo Grass, she had glanced around the open space and noticed that besides the plants from the Negative Energy System, there were also other Magical Plants, almost like those around the academy.
This further confirmed her belief that this was the Secret Realm Entrance.
"Tom, your task is complete now; you can go back. Also, don't use this kind of plant to treat wounds in the future; otherwise, the consequences could be severe." Freya said lightly, glancing at Tom standing behind her.
She was in a good mood and even mentioned his misuse of the Bamboo Grass.
"Yes." Although he didn't quite understand the last part of what the girl said, he nodded in response.
As they walked along, he increasingly felt the immense pressure beside her, akin to that from noble lords in big cities. Even though Freya didn't say a word, he still trembled inside.
Now granted permission to leave, he immediately turned and walked back in the original direction.
Without paying attention to whether Tom had walked far away, Freya stared at the hazy stickiness on the ground and suddenly took a step forward.
'Crack!'
The Azure Wind Flow coiling around her feet caused an imprint to form where she stepped down.
Freya firmly planted one foot there before stepping out with the other.
"This repulsive force increases as I get closer; however, it's still within my tolerance!" Feeling the strength of the Force Field surrounding her body, Freya exerted all her strength and strode towards the center of the open space.
The turbulent air pressure caused all the weeds around her to be pressed tightly against the ground. Clumps of black soil were flipped up with each step she took.
At first, it was manageable, but as she got closer, the repulsive force grew stronger. Eventually, she felt an unusual strain with every step she took.
The turbulent energy erupted, gradually forming a slender green cone in front of her due to the Light Wind Spell, accompanied by a loud buzzing sound emanating from ahead.
"This level of Force Field..." Looking at the viscous barrier almost within reach, Freya struggled to extend her arm, yet a faint smile appeared on her lips. As she uttered the incantation, a thin Purple Flame flickered into existence at her fingertips and slowly advanced forward.
"It seems that it not only prevents approach but also has the ability to block Spells." Freya felt the strength of the Ashfire she controlled, her anticipation for the treasures within this secret realm growing deeper.
After all, this was a Magic Circle that had been maintained for about a hundred years. Despite enduring so many years of wear and tear, it still possessed such strong defensive power; thus, the value of whatever lay inside must be extraordinary.
This made her somewhat grateful for her decision to come here immediately. Otherwise, if the wizards from the Blue Eagle Nest had arrived first, she would have missed out entirely.
As the flames drew closer, Freya sensed that the Ashfire was under intense pressure, giving her the illusion that it might explode if she wasn't careful.
Suddenly, she gently clenched her outstretched hand.
'Boom!!'
A large expanse of Purple Flame erupted before her in an instant.
Due to the carefully chosen angle, it couldn't harm her. However, Freya still felt the extreme heat beside her.
'Hiss hiss hiss'
It sounded as if something was being scorched. Freya watched as the originally viscous and hazy area began to twist and deform under the heat of the flames, forming a fist-sized black void.
'Crash!'
With a noise, at the moment the black hole emerged, the repelling Force Field surrounding Freya vanished instantly.
Feeling unimpeded in her body, she waved her hands to disperse the ashes left by the flames and then directly reached out toward the black hole.
'Crack!'
The sound of shattering echoed between her hands. With a gentle exertion of force, it felt as if she were tearing apart paper; numerous transparent fragments quickly peeled away as the black hole gradually expanded.
Before long, the originally fist-sized black hole was opened into a human-sized black void.
A long, eerie black corridor appeared in her line of sight.
"This must be the entrance!" Looking at the dark passage inside the opening, Freya felt a slight sense of caution rise within her. She paused for a moment and then strode forward into the corridor.
As soon as she stepped into the passage, she immediately sensed a dense energy aura, even more intense than that at Abyssal Lake. Freya thought that meditating in this place would likely yield results comparable to a mid-level Energy Gathering Array in terms of energy perception.
Glancing back at the forest scene outside the opening, although she had forcefully broken through the defense Magic Circle of this secret realm, it was uncertain whether it would automatically restore itself.
After some thought, she took out a green seed from her waist pouch, held it in her palm, and began to chant incantations softly. A green glow gradually emanated from her hand.
Seeing this, Freya gently tapped the seed with her other hand and let it drop to the ground.
'Puff!'
As soon as the seed hit the ground, it burrowed itself into the soil. Before long, a round creature with emerald green leaves slowly emerged from the earth. The creature was only the size of an egg, round and plump, with two short arms on either side and two black bean-like eyes in the middle, resembling a cartoon character.
Watching as this creature fully unfurled, Freya expressionlessly plucked a leaf from its head and placed it into her waist pouch.
"Record this location. If anything happens, notify me immediately. Understood?"
Upon hearing Freya's words, the creature surprisingly nodded in a human-like manner before its form shrank back into the ground.
Having completed these tasks, Freya did not linger and turned directly toward the depths of the passage.
The seed she exchanged from Saradin for Scouting Technique could Collapse over a range exceeding one kilometer when there was land available. This time frame was more than sufficient for her to explore the entire secret realm.
In the pitch-black silent corridor, only Freya's footsteps echoed. She held a stone emitting White Light in her hand to illuminate her surroundings.
Meanwhile, behind her, the opening had transformed into a tiny point of light.
Freya glanced at the walls of the corridor beside her; they were covered with a thick layer of Black Ash, appearing abandoned for quite some time. However, there was no sense of stuffiness as she had imagined; it seemed that the Wind Element circulation within this secret realm had not been damaged.
She focused her mind and quietly walked down the corridor. After about ten minutes, the originally dark passage suddenly became bright.
This was a circular, empty room, with nothing but two tables.
Freya walked up to the two tables, and under the light of the White Light Stone in her hand, she noticed that one of the tables had a thickly covered booklet made of Black Ash on it.
"What is this..."
She reached out to pick up the booklet and flipped through it. Freya frowned slightly; perhaps due to its age, although the booklet was still relatively intact, most of the writing inside had turned into a dark blur, making it impossible to discern anything.
After putting the booklet back in its place, Freya scanned the room and found three other passages leading in different directions besides the entrance she had come through.
However, one of the passages emitted a faint smell of decay, with warm air flowing out from there.
Freya looked at the three passages, thought for a moment, and walked toward the leftmost passage that appeared to be in good condition.
The passage she chose looked the most intact among the three, with only a little dust accumulated on the floor.
A few minutes later, black doors began to appear along both sides of the passage that had previously been just walls.
As Freya looked at the emerging doors, a hint of confusion arose in her heart. Although she had only been to Fran Sith's secret realm once, that did not mean she was unfamiliar with the structure of the Wizard's Realm. These numerous doors were merely ordinary doors without any aura of energy isolation.
It should be noted that the Wizard's Realm itself is a place for storing or cultivating resources, which has very strict environmental requirements. As Freya delved deeper into this passage, she increasingly felt that this place did not resemble a secret realm.
With a puzzled mind, Freya approached the nearest door and gently twisted the handle.
'Click'
The door opened easily.
Freya stepped inside, and white light illuminated the room. She frowned slightly as she looked at the facilities inside.
A Metal Rack, a Decayed Cage, and in front of her was a large metal table—this turned out to be a laboratory.
"Perhaps this place was never the Wizard's Realm; it was just my assumption..."
Looking at the items in the room, Freya felt a bit disappointed. However, just as she was about to leave, she noticed a cleverly hidden bookshelf that was only half her height in one corner of the room.
The placement of the bookshelf was quite discreet; if Freya hadn't caught a glimpse of it by chance, she probably wouldn't have discovered it.
Curious, she approached the bookshelf, crouched down, and began to flip through its contents.
There were many items inside the bookshelf, but most of them were like the previous booklet—very blurry letters. However, in the end, she managed to find a few pages with clear information.
