The familiar sour smell was identical to the blood of those creatures. In addition, Freya sensed an inexplicable aura of danger lurking in this room. 0

It felt similar to the Abyssal Creature she encountered back at Abyssal Lake, the Two-Headed Hound. 0

This made Freya hesitate. 0

Although she had enough gains for a return ticket, what lay before her was clearly a room with immense secrets. 0

After careful consideration, Freya ultimately decided to observe for a moment; if anything unusual appeared, she would immediately turn back. 0

With her current abilities, unless she faced an overwhelming force capable of instant kill, she had some degree of self-preservation capability. 0

With a snap, she took out a thin White Light Stone from her waist pouch and tossed it into the room. 0

However, as soon as the white light entered the room, it quickly dimmed, as if shrouded by some mist. 0

Looking at the faint glow of the White Light Stone, it only illuminated the dark floor but provided no substantial effect. 0

Freya frowned slightly and took out a few more White Light Stones before tossing them in. 0

Snap! Snap! Snap!... 0

Five or six thin White Light Stones connected their weak glows, instantly brightening the area significantly, allowing Freya to vaguely see the scene within the room. 0

She followed the hazy light and stepped into the room. 0

The space inside was vast and circular, resembling a large hall, with a hazy mist undulating across the ground, slightly dispersing as Freya walked. 0

Freya gently covered her mouth and nose; even with her use of Energy Particles to substitute for breathing, she could clearly sense the corrosive nature of the pungent odor. 0

If an ordinary person were to enter, they would likely have their respiratory system corroded by this gas in no time, leading to suffocation and death. 0

Freya cautiously observed her surroundings. 0

In the far direction of the White Light Stone, she suddenly noticed something. In the center of the room, there seemed to be a massive object lurking, and the source of the foul smell emanated from there. 0

This made Freya stop in her tracks, a subtle tension immediately entering her senses, ready to explode at any moment. 0

Although she had found it relatively easy to deal with that previous creature, she knew those were merely individuals that grew within minutes; she was unsure of the limits of such beings. 0

The enormous object in the center, though not clearly visible due to the lighting, appeared to be at least three meters tall. 0

Based on the volume-to-strength ratio of Yamato's capabilities, Freya estimated that if it was that creature, she would have no choice but to flee immediately! 0

However, after waiting for a long time, there was no reaction. 0

Freya restrained her aura and cautiously approached. 0

When she reached the side of that thing, she realized it was indeed that type of creature; however, it was not alive but rather a massive corpse. It was in a crouched position, and if it stood up, it would likely be over seven or eight meters tall. 0

This colossal dinosaur-like corpse was not alone; there was another one beside it. 0

Freya stood oddly between two corpses, noticing that their backs and limbs were entwined with massive chains, while numerous red tubes were inserted into the rest of their bodies, resembling countless ribbons growing from them. 0

"This might be the mother of that creature, or perhaps a primitive version," Freya speculated lightly in her heart, as she observed that besides their similar appearance, they lacked any antennae on their heads, instead having rows of dense black scales. 0

After a brief observation of the two enormous beings, Freya followed the position of the tubes connected to them and saw two large square pools not far away. 0

The pools had dried up, but she could still faintly see a thick red liquid inside. In the center of each pool was a long rectangular platform covered with glass over something. 0

Approaching the edge of one pool, Freya took out a dagger, crouched down, and gently scraped a bit of crystal from the wall of the pool, placing it into a test tube for future research. 0

After completing this task, she stood up and jumped into one of the pools, stepping onto the viscous liquid to reach the platform in the middle. She lightly tapped the glass on top with her dagger. 0

'Crack' 0

To her surprise, Freya broke a large hole without using much force. 0

Through that hole, she saw that inside was a half-damaged Blue Column Crystal, emanating an inexplicable energy aura from above. 0

Freya sensed the fluctuations of this energy and realized it was not a conventional type of Energy Particles but rather an energy aura she had never encountered before, resembling a crystal found within some living organism. 0

After pondering for a moment, she walked over to the other pool and gently shattered the glass on that platform with her dagger. Here too was a cylindrical blue crystal, but its integrity and intensity were better than the one beside it. 0

"This might be a biological energy source or something similar. However, the shape and aura of this Crystal are quite strange..." Although Freya could feel the energy aura emitted by this object, she also noticed that the activity level of Energy Particles around this Crystal was significantly higher, as if they were being attracted by it. 0

Suddenly, Freya thought that this ability seemed similar to her Energy Gathering Array's function; one required consuming Magic Stones to attract while the other was spontaneous. 0

This caught Freya's attention. Initially, she felt a bit disappointed when confirming that this was a Laboratory Area and not a secret realm, but she didn't expect to gain so much. 0

If she obtained this Crystal, then even if she returned to the academy, she wouldn't have to worry about materials and resources! 0

Moreover, if this item turned out to be useless for her later, it could still serve as an exchange item to acquire the advancement resources she needed. 0

Gently extending her hand, Freya grasped the crystal and pulled it forcefully. 0

'Puff' 0

It sounded like something was leaking at the bottom of the crystal. Suddenly, the walls of the pitch-black room lit up with Azure Light, illuminating the entire area. 0

Freya stared in astonishment at the suddenly bright surroundings. At that moment, she realized that apart from the two corpses in the center, the entire hall was actually filled with Biological Embryo Vessels that she had seen in that previous room. 0

And their growth was similar to that of the last one she had killed. 0

Freya glanced around and found that there were at least five hundred of them! 0

Then, an emotionless female voice echoed from an unknown source. 0

'Alert: Third Laboratory Restrainer has disappeared, Third Laboratory Restrainer has disappeared, please proceed immediately to...' 0

Before it finished, it turned into a series of static noises. 0

"Restrainer??" Freya looked at the Blue Crystal in her hand and immediately understood; it seemed that taking this item triggered the laboratory's alarm system. 0

A faint sound echoed through the hall, like the cracking of glass. 0

It seemed to trigger a chain reaction, followed by a chorus of shattering noises. 0

Suddenly, Freya felt as if countless pairs of eyes were fixated on her, a chill emanating from the depths of her heart. 0

In an instant, she grabbed the crystal in her hand and swiftly stowed it away in her waist pouch. The air around her erupted with energy as she transformed into a blur, racing toward the exit. 0

Just as she left, a damp three-clawed paw emerged from the shattered glass container, darting in the same direction Freya had fled, moving with terrifying speed. 0

The scenery on either side rushed past her as Freya quickly retraced her steps. The energy she unleashed formed a slender tassel behind her, enhancing her speed. 0

A low, rhythmic rumble began to resonate behind her. Glancing back briefly, Freya suddenly noticed that the creatures she had seen in the hall were greedily pursuing her, their numbers overwhelming and darkening the space. 0

"Is it because the alarm has awakened them all?" 0

As she looked at the multitude of monsters behind her, Freya's expression turned cold. She flicked her dagger lightly, and a flash of crimson light glimmered momentarily. 0

'Pfft!' 0

The scorching dagger easily pierced into the adjacent wall, and with a strong pull, a long and thick red mark was cut out, revealing the soil inside. 0

Then, Freya quickly scattered a row of black seeds above. 0

"Casaomiras... Revive!" The clearly articulated incantation was uttered. 0

Feeling the green Energy Particles rapidly expanding, Freya did not even glance at the result of her Spell and ran off again. 0

'Creak... Creak...' 0

A series of grating sounds emerged from the crack in the wall. Just as a few creatures that had run ahead passed by, thick and fierce brown roots quickly extended out, filling the entire passageway like giant pythons. 0

'Boom!' 0

Then came the sound of a massive impact. 0

It seemed that due to the catalytic spell used by Freya, the entire passage began to tremble slightly, and large gray stones fell from above. 0

Looking back at the intense dust and smoke behind her, Freya could still clearly smell the acrid odor in the air. 0

"I must leave here as soon as possible!" 0

It was important to note that there were over five hundred of those creatures in the hall just now. Fortunately, the passage was narrow, and those creatures grew uncontrollably fast but would not pose much trouble for her in the short term. 0

I just don't know what will happen over time. 0

But now is not the time to think about these things. 0

'Whoosh!' 0

With a slight sound of airflow, Freya soon returned to the entrance of the previous fork in the road. 0

Feeling the footsteps still coming from behind, she turned around and kicked towards the top of the passage. 0

'Boom!' 0

A thick conical crack rapidly spread, and before long, the massive rock column at the top came crashing down with a loud noise, completely blocking the exit. 0

Looking at the solid stone pillar, Freya's chest rose and fell slightly. 0

"This should be enough now..." 0

However, just as she let out a sigh of relief, a clear sound of corrosion came from the other side of the stone. (To be continued) 0
