Saradin retreated continuously, her face pale, the aftereffects of excessive mental energy consumption making her feel like she could collapse at any moment. 0

‘Bang!’ 0

A Silver Armored Soldier broke through the blockade, shouting as he ran towards her, the massive Broad Sword scraping against the sandy ground with a rustling sound. 0

Seeing the imminent danger approaching, Saradin suddenly raised her finger, and a fist-sized ball of Purple Flame shot out abruptly. With a bang, it struck the soldier's chest. 0

The intense flames instantly melted through his chest armor and pierced through him. 0

As the soldier fell, Saradin was suddenly engulfed in darkness, a strong dizziness hitting her. 0

“Damn it. Is my mental energy already at its limit?” 0

Clutching her head tightly, Saradin struggled to open her eyes; this was clearly a trap aimed at her. She had begun to vaguely guess who had set it up. 0

Under normal circumstances, she wouldn't have taken that person's strength seriously, but she hadn't expected... 0

Feeling the dizziness in her head easing slightly, she took out a long seed about the size of a finger from her waist pouch and gently plucked off a small protrusion from the top of the seed. 0

The seed immediately came to life, extending two transparent wings on either side. 0

“I hope she sees it soon,” Saradin murmured as she watched the flying seed soar into the sky. 0

She had released all of these flying seeds now; if luck was on her side, perhaps Freya would notice them and there might still be hope. If not, then the consequences were unimaginable. 0

"Swish!!!" 0

Silver sword marks continuously slashed through the air, sending yellow sand flying in all directions under the fierce attack. 0

Freya held dual swords, constantly retreating while coldly observing the seemingly crazed warrior before her. 0

"Your mind must be completely shattered by now." 0

She slightly turned her body to evade the opponent's powerful horizontal slash and suddenly thrust her dual swords forward. 0

"Thud!" 0

The Silver Cross Sword easily pierced through the gap in his neck armor, a stream of crimson blood gushing out from there. 0

Watching the figure slowly collapse, Freya sheathed her swords and glanced at the large number of corpses on the ground. 0

Among these corpses, some wore armor while others were in Robes, but now they lay quietly on the ground, their thick blood staining the yellow desert with splashes of red. 0

"This is the third batch. So far, I haven't encountered a single Third-Rank Apprentice. It seems this operation at Blue Eagle Nest is just a division sent over. However, someone capable of designing this Sand Trap must have at least one wizard involved. Given how long this has been going on, Saradin must be exhausted as well. I need to find them quickly!" Shaking off the blood from her swords, Freya dashed swiftly in a specific direction. 0

... 0

In the far distance of Freya's running path. 0

A large-scale battle was taking place. 0

Soldiers clad in Silver Armor were slaughtering each other, red blood and fierce sword techniques causing casualties in mere moments, with some falling and being buried in the sand. 0

In the golden desert, a clear figure was sprinting at high speed, raising a large cloud of sand behind that somewhat obscured the sun. 0

Freya, with a slightly grim expression, looked back at the rapidly approaching entity hidden beneath the yellow sand and suddenly shot out two Black Daggers. 0

With a soft 'thud' and 'swoosh', the daggers plunged directly into the sand. The creature lurking beneath the surface paused momentarily, then the ground suddenly bulged as a massive Sandstorm Worm burst forth. 0

Seeing the enormous worm emerging from the ground, Freya immediately retreated to avoid its bite. 0

With a slight flick of her two Cross Swords, Freya's pupils suddenly constricted as she leaped into the air. 0

A chaotic airflow formed two long Tassels behind her, and in midair, Freya spun rapidly, creating a fiery Sharp Blade vortex that descended upon the worm. 0

The sharp blades sliced wildly into the Sandstorm Worm, producing a cacophony of noise. 0

Chunks of blood splattered from the frozen worm's body. 0

After a long while. 0

With a 'snap'. 0

Freya returned to her original spot, the blades of her Cross Swords stained with green blood. In front of her, the Sandstorm Worm was unrecognizable, its body torn apart and lying on the sand, still alive but barely. 0

She lightly flicked the blood off her Cross Swords and suddenly looked up at the sky. 0

There, finger-like flying seeds were quickly escaping, as if being driven away by something. 0

"Saradin's doing?" 0

Seeing the peculiar shape of those seeds, Freya immediately deduced their origin. However, just as she was about to rush in that direction, a flock of Black Crows suddenly appeared in the air, swooping down towards the seeds, causing Freya's expression to turn cold. 0

The appearance of the large group of flying seeds indicated that Saradin's situation had become dire. Now, even this primitive distress signal was being intercepted; one could only imagine how critical things were. 0

Without hesitation, she immediately ran towards the direction of the flying seeds. 0

A blurred figure dashed across the yellow sand, and soon Freya found herself on a slope beneath the flock of crows. 0

The elevated terrain allowed her to see everything clearly below. 0

Not far from her, scattered bodies lay in disarray; most had been strangled by emerging plants, while some had been slain by swords. 0

Narrowing her eyes slightly, Freya noticed that at the end of these corpses, a large-scale battle was still ongoing. 0

Among those fighting, she suddenly spotted Saradin. 0

At that moment, Saradin appeared completely exhausted, half-sitting on the ground with a pale face. Surrounding her were two slender Green Energy Sprites spinning around, repeatedly blocking the attacks from the Black Crows. 0

The sound of intense collisions echoed, but once again, it was intercepted by the Energy Sprite. 0

However, even though the mental energy consumed by the Empowerment Spell was minimal, Saradin still felt she couldn't hold on much longer. 0

Opposite her, three Apprentice Wizards in Gray Robes were holding a Token and softly chanting a spell. From the faint Flowing Light surrounding the Token, several black energy crows occasionally flew out, attacking Saradin. 0

Suddenly, one of the only two remaining sprites around her was struck by a crow and dissipated into green light. 0

This situation brought joy to the three Gray Robes, and the Token in their hands suddenly shone brightly. What had been a few Black Crows now surged into a large swarm, darkening the sky like rain clouds. 0

Saradin, whose green sprite had been destroyed, turned pale as she watched the flock of crows approaching. Suddenly, a hint of determination flashed in her eyes. 0

A faintly chaotic green light spread from her. (To be continued) 0
