Chapter Three Hundred Twelve:
The simple Magical Pet contract was engraved in the Mud Python's spirit.
At this moment, the Mud Python felt as if it were an extension of Freya, aware of all her actions and thoughts. If necessary, Freya could even enter the Mud Python's body with her own spirit.
Conversely, after accepting the contract, the Mud Python's intelligence and spirit would rapidly increase over a certain period.
According to Freya's estimation, the knowledge flowing from her was sufficient to elevate the Mud Python's intelligence to that of an ordinary adult.
Freya calmly watched as the Crimson goat head on the Mud Python's forehead gradually faded away. The entire Mud Python seemed to have undergone a fierce battle, its body and spirit falling into a state of extreme weakness, curled up at the bottom of the Cultivation Tank.
"This state will probably last for two hours, after which its intelligence and spirit will rapidly grow. However, the current Mud Python is still in its juvenile stage; it's still too early."
The Magical Pet contract increases intelligence and spirit based on the potential of the contracting party. Clearly, at this stage, the Mud Python had not yet developed its maximum potential.
However, due to the battle between the Crimson Eagle and Landri, Freya had no choice but to make some necessary preparations.
After all, the conflict between the two Wizard Organizations affected all Official Wizards involved, which would certainly have a significant impact on Freya as well.
For a long time, she wouldn't be able to conduct her Bloodline Experiment, which was something that frustrated Freya the most.
Glancing at the still weak Mud Python, Freya gently extended her hand and pointed.
The Mud Python, which was submerged at the bottom of the Cultivation Tank, was suddenly pulled out and suspended in the air.
Then, she took the Mud Python out of the estate to the lakeside and tossed it into the water.
Splash.
Before long, the Mud Python sank to the bottom. Freya then lightly snapped her fingers.
A white light suddenly illuminated the surface of the lake around her, forming chain-like patterns that subtly enveloped half of the water.
A faint energy aura appeared and quickly vanished.
Watching the concealed Rune Array enter its stealth mode, Freya nodded gently.
"Now no one will be able to detect it. Although it's a lake and not a swamp, the impact should be minimal."
After sensing the state of the Mud Python for a moment, it seemed that this creature had not noticed that its environment had changed. It remained asleep.
After thinking for a bit, Freya took out a slender King Cobra Scale from her waist pouch and tossed it into the lake as well.
The essence of the King Cobra would greatly benefit the Mud Python. Even if it couldn't induce mutation, it could enhance its strength, allowing it to serve Freya better.
Having completed these tasks, she turned around and headed back to the estate.
Apart from the overly mature Mud Python, there are numerous Mud Pythons in the Cultivation Tank growing naturally.
These creatures are still in their juvenile stage and cannot leave the Cultivation Tank. If they were to be released into the lake alongside that Mud Python, Freya even felt that some of the powerful fish and crabs in the lake could easily devour them.
After a moment of thought, Freya snapped her fingers.
Snap!
A strange wave of power emanated from her, and then a sticky Azure Liquid seemed to appear on her body. This liquid slowly dripped off her, gradually solidifying into an Elemental Entity that resembled her.
Looking at the Elemental Creature formed by the Second Level endowment of her Meditation Method, Freya glanced around the laboratory and said calmly.
"Take good care of them while I'm away. If anyone tries to break in, use the Rune Array in the estate to eliminate them. No need to leave any survivors."
The Elemental Entity said nothing, merely smiled and nodded to indicate understanding.
The intelligence of this Elemental Entity is derived from Freya herself, almost equivalent to a significantly weakened clone, which reassured Freya greatly.
After giving all her instructions, Freya looked at the Ancient Bloodline creature on the Experiment Table, which was indistinguishable from a normal Crimson-Eyed Lizard, and let out a slight sigh.
"Forget it; I'll just capture Buckley and ask him directly."
She vaguely sensed that although the Bloodline of this Crimson-Eyed Lizard had a strong contaminating effect, it also stimulated some unknown mutation in the Ancient Bloodline of the Mud Python.
If she could understand the direction, Freya was even fifty percent confident that she could cultivate the King Cobra.
As for the information about the Ancient Bloodline, Landri's Buckley must know some details.
Thinking about various matters, Freya walked out of the manor.
Under her control, the carriage had already been patiently waiting at the manor entrance for quite some time.
After jumping onto the carriage, it quickly headed towards the Crimson Eagle Headquarters.
The war had been confirmed, but it would not start immediately; during this period, the higher-ups of Crimson Eagle needed to make decisions.
...
In a vast hall of the Crimson Eagle Headquarters.
At a long table resembling red crystal, many wizards in white robes with red trim were already seated.
Most of these wizards appeared very old, with silver hair, solemn expressions, and remained silent.
After a long while, an old wizard dressed in a red robe with gold trim entered the hall, walked directly to the front of the long table, and slowly sat down.
His wrinkled face bore a sinister expression as his cold gaze swept over the wizards around the table.
The withered fingers gently tapped the long table, producing a rhythmic sound.
"Alright, since everyone is here, we should discuss the matter of Kage. I, Crimson Eagle, represent a free organization, and I will give you the choice. It's time to vote on the war against Landri: should we completely annihilate them or attempt to absorb them? You have one minute."
The hoarse voice echoed slowly in the hall.
After Old Wizard finished speaking, the other wizards began to quickly discuss among themselves through mental communication.
Soon, a minute passed.
The wizards lightly tapped the table, and particles of light, either red or blue, traveled along the surface to the hands of Old Wizard at the front.
When the last red particle gathered in his hand, he slowly extended his arm, and two numbers appeared on the crystal table.
"There are seven votes for annihilation and thirteen votes for absorption. It seems we are leaning towards absorption?"
He glanced at the wizards and finally fixed his gaze on a Wizard with several scars on his face, surrounded by a strong aura of danger.
"Oh? Louis, it seems you also voted for the blue option. Care to explain?"
"Great Elder," he stood up from his seat and slightly bowed respectfully. "I voted this way considering the attitude of Sky City. Cloud City hasn't seen a war between Wizard Organizations for hundreds of years. Although we are situated in Crimson Plain, they can still exert pressure on me. I don't want Kage's issues to jeopardize the foundation of my Crimson Eagle; after all, it's just a matter concerning a junior."
"Is that so?" The Great Elder raised his head and looked Louis up and down. "Sky City is indeed powerful. Your consideration is sound; however, I recall you had some conflicts with Kage in your early years. Although Kage currently has no authority here, are you sure you aren't letting your personal feelings influence your decision?"
The Elder's gaze was calm, but Louis felt his body tremble involuntarily. It was a fear instinctive to danger, and it seemed even his Empowerment Spell was faintly affected.
Seeing Louis silent, the Elder casually waved his hand.
"Alright, you can sit down."
"Yes, my lord."
Feeling the gaze shift away, he slowly returned to his seat, at this point, Louis's forehead was already covered in fine cold sweat.
The Elder looked around at the wizards one by one. Then, in a slightly heavy tone, he spoke.
"I know that each of your decisions has its own reasons, whether it be hatred or threats. Although Kage has lost its only descendant, I hope that through this matter you can remember the true essence of us, the Crimson Eagle. Why did we migrate to Cloud City hundreds of years ago? Was it for comfort? Or for peace? Does Sky City truly believe that they have crushed us, the Crimson Eagle? Or have you forgotten our former name?"
His last sentence was almost a shout, causing a buzzing sound to resonate throughout the hall.
"We are the Blood Eagle Territory! We were before! We are now! Whoever touches my brother will face death! I have decided to propose the annihilation of Landri! Is there anyone who opposes this? Step forward!"
All the wizards chose to remain silent; some seemed to want to say something but were quickly silenced by nearby wizards shaking their heads.
"Very good." Seeing everyone's reaction, the Elder nodded in satisfaction and then turned his gaze to the nearest Old Wizard.
"Old Three, just like before, you'll lead the charge again. Is that alright?"
"Of course, no problem!" The Old Wizard grinned, revealing his snow-white teeth. "My Eagle Claw Brigade has actually been assembled for a while now."
"Mm." Nodding lightly, the Grand Elder turned to another wizard not far away. "What about you, Old Five?"
"The same!" He seemed to be the silent type, his expression cold, and after that, he said nothing more.
"It looks like you are all ready as well?" The Grand Elder paused and then said solemnly, "After this, our Blood Eagle Territory will completely break free from the control of Sky City. The Crimson Plain will henceforth be our territory!"
As this declaration was made, some young wizards were momentarily taken aback, seemingly incredulous at the Grand Elder's words.
Crimson Eagle suddenly aimed to split from the vast wings of Sky City and establish its former glory.
This impact was undoubtedly stronger than anything else.
However, since the Grand Elder and several members of the Council of Elders had already made their decision, there was no turning back.
Moreover, most importantly, regardless of the outcome, Landri, a similarly massive Wizard Organization, would face its first and last catastrophic disaster in history.
...
Three days later.
Orders were issued one by one, and soon all the Official Wizards of Crimson Eagle received their respective missions.
The auxiliary Rune Department also set out under the leadership of the main force.
With the group acceleration technique of Winds of Oblivion, Crimson Eagle arrived in the vicinity of Landri in just two moves.
At this moment, the originally dim sky had turned into a fiery red.
Fiery red clouds slowly gathered, and soon a giant crimson eagle flew over the heads of the crowd, gradually pressing down towards Landri.
The giant eagle was surrounded by flowing light that rolled like magma, its eyes resembling red crystals fixated on the massive buildings below.
Just as the giant eagle was about to strike down, a Snow White Antelope composed of countless icy white energies charged fiercely at the eagle.
Boom!!!
The two monsters formed from abilities collided violently, and large droplets of sticky flames fell from above Landri.
As a layer of transparent film with fine ripples slowly appeared, a brutal voice roared from Landri's headquarters.
"Damn Crimson Eagle!! Have you all gone mad?? Are you provoking my limits!!"
No one answered. Above the fallen giant eagle, an elder in a Red Robe hovered in the air with a condescending gaze, looking down at Landri's headquarters.
He then slowly extended his hands, and a strand of black flame began to burn between them, spreading a strong sense of danger.
Not only Landri felt a hint of fear, but also Crimson Eagle.
Freya looked up at Elder Three in the sky, her eyes filled with a trace of shock.
"Is this the level of a Fourth-Level Archmage? The flames burning in that palm, if they were to spill out, could almost create a violent surge of energy. I didn't expect Crimson Eagle to be hiding such depth."
While everyone was lost in their own thoughts, Elder Three slowly pressed down towards Landri.
A scorching and strange Force Field caused the defensive Rune Tower below Landri to emit unpleasant creaking sounds.
The translucent white membrane also rippled violently, seemingly on the verge of shattering.
Just as the owner of the voice that had just roared out was about to cast another spell.
Crack!
Fine cracks rapidly spread under the pressure of Elder Three, and the central Rune Tower collapsed with a loud crash.
Immediately after, the powerful defensive Force Field protecting Landri also vanished completely.
After doing all this, Elder Three appeared pale, beads of sweat forming on his forehead, clearly indicating that this powerful spell was not easy for him either.
After a pause, he suddenly shouted loudly in the air.
"All troops of the Snow Eagle Territory! Charge!!"
After his shout, a massive roar erupted from Landri's side.
"Kill all these guys!!!"
From high above, two red and white figures collided in the vast Crimson Plain like crashing waves.
Immediately, a burst of light exploded as various spells were unleashed.
Behind the Crimson Eagle, or what is now known as the Blood Eagle Territory, two Red Robe Silver-Haired Wizards stood calmly watching the chaotic battle below.
Elder Three slowly descended from the air, pulled out an object, and casually tossed it to one of the wizards, saying softly.
"This is the token that killed Rafael's apprentice in the Landri family, Kage. Don't let me down." (To be continued)
