Chapter Three Hundred Thirty-Four: 0

The life of a wizard has always been long compared to that of ordinary people. 0

Each promotion represents an elevation in the level of life, potentially adding one to two hundred years to their lifespan. 0

Freya is now a Second-Level Wizard and also possesses the legacy of the King Cobra. 0

According to her estimates, her current lifespan could reach four hundred years, while she is only twenty-six this year. 0

If she were to stop progressing now, she would still have nearly three hundred years before she gradually ages. 0

However, for her family, including Baron and Eric, several generations have already passed. 0

Gently stroking the soft golden hair in her hand, Freya can vaguely see that adorable baby being held by his mother. 0

She took a white box from the drawer of the Experiment Table and placed the soft golden hair inside, letting out a slight sigh. 0

"What wizards pursue is truth, is Eternity, is the reality of the world. Wizards believe in Equivalent Exchange; perhaps this is the price one must pay for seeking these things." 0

As she lightly caressed the white box, Freya fell into reminiscence. 0

In fact, compared to Earth in her previous life, she feels a greater sense of belonging to the Wizarding World. 0

After all, in her previous life, she was just an orphan with very few close friends, until she accidentally crossed over into the Wizarding World. 0

This vibrant world opened her eyes, and the care from the Baron made her experience what it felt like to have a family. 0

"Perhaps once things settle down a bit, I’ll go home for a while. After all, over a decade is just a period for a few large experiments," Freya said, lifting her head and squinting at the scenery outside the window. 0

Wizards had reached an astonishing level in their research on the layers of life; she actually had some methods to prolong the lifespan of ordinary people. However, she did not want the Baron and others to try these methods due to their negative side effects. 0

Unless it was a self-evolving life form like a wizard, external interventions would only lead to unexpected mutations. 0

After standing by the window for a while, Freya walked directly to the Experiment Table. 0

She took out some paper and a pen and began writing a letter. 0

Five minutes later, she placed the finished letter and a Black Box into a package. Then Freya lightly snapped her fingers. 0

A layer of Azure gel-like substance detached from her body, forming an elemental servant that looked exactly like her. 0

Freya handed the package to the Elemental Entity and said calmly, "Take this package to the Birds' Society and send it to Dragon Harbor, 45 Coconut Street." 0

Elemental Entity nodded lightly, took the package, and then slowly flew up, directly diving out of the window and into the sky. 0

It was not until Elemental Entity had completely turned into a black dot that Freya withdrew her gaze and began working on the elemental potion synthesis that she had not completed earlier. 0

...... 0

Five Hours. 0

In the South of Crimson Plain. 0

The emerald green plain was dotted with white flowers. Occasionally, one could see a few Herd of Deer grazing on the grass. 0

On this plain, a Black Carriage was swiftly traveling along a straight yellow road. 0

On the side of the carriage was a Red Eagle Emblem, which looked very simple and elegant. 0

At the end of this road stood a prominent hill. In the middle of the hill stood a White Tower. 0

At the top of the tower was a Blue Crystal, emitting a faint blue glow. 0

Soon, the carriage arrived at a Fence surrounded by white wooden boards at the base of the tower. 0

On both sides of the Fence were some Brown Flower Pots. Inside were green plants that emitted a faint aura of energy. 0

‘Wow—’ 0

The carriage door opened. Dressed in a white robe, Freya nimbly jumped down from the carriage. 0

She gently raised her index finger, and a black mark resembling a magic cube flashed above it. 0

Before long, a blue light shot out from the Crystal at the top of the tower, and a white wooden door slowly appeared before her under the blue light. 0

"Welcome, welcome Lady Freya to my private tower." 0

Jann's aged voice came from behind the door. 0

As soon as he finished speaking, the wooden door creaked open by itself. 0

Behind the door seemed to be a garden filled with various plants, resembling a miniature tropical rainforest. 0

Occasionally, some creatures could be seen popping out from the grass or flower patches. 0

Jann, dressed in a green robe, stood smiling in the center of the garden, his arms slightly outstretched as if welcoming Freya's arrival. 0

Freya smiled back and walked directly into the wooden door. 0

As soon as she stepped inside, the door closed with a snap and then slowly vanished. 0

Watching Freya approach, Jann pointed at a tall plant nearby. The plant flashed with a vibrant green light, quickly transforming into a round table and two chairs. 0

"I didn't expect you to arrive so soon; it's quite a surprise." 0

"I came here to return your things, and I also have some questions I would like to ask you," Freya said humbly as she walked to the table. 0

"Oh?" Jann put away his smile, looking puzzled. "Is it still about Hell World?" 0

"Pretty much," Freya nodded, admitting, "There are some things I want to clarify." 0

"What is it about? If it involves something special, I may not be able to answer." 0

Jann frowned slightly, sitting down on the chair made from plant materials and gesturing for Freya to sit as well. 0

"Heh, it's just a simple identification; it's not anything important." 0

Sitting in the chair, Freya took out the gelatinous substance that had unexpectedly formed after she defeated the shadow. 0

"This is what I wanted you to take a look at." 0

The gelatinous substance was placed on the table, faintly emanating a cold, decaying aura, with signs that the surface of the table was subtly darkening. 0

"Eh? This aura..." Jann looked at the object on the table, his pupils slightly constricting. He then raised his head to ask Freya, "How did you acquire this?" 0

As if she didn't notice Jann's expression, Freya lightly tapped the table and spoke calmly. 0

"I bought this from a Mysterious Merchant by chance. I felt that its aura is very similar to that of Hell, so I wanted to come and ask you about it." 0

Jann said nothing as he took out a delicate magnifying glass from his waist, looking at the items on the table with a somewhat complex expression. 0

He then pulled out a square White Cube and placed it on top. 0

Before long, the white cube transformed into a pure gray color, with faint wisps of smoke lingering around it. 0

After a long moment, he put away the two items in his hands and spoke solemnly. 0

"Indeed, this item is from hell. Moreover, it seems to be a Crystal formed after the death of some creature from hell." 0

"Is that so?" Freya nodded. "Then, can you identify what kind of creature this is from and what its specific function is?" 0

"Well," Jann said, carefully drawing out the smoke from the gray cube. "If you need precise information, it might take me some time. This is the first time I've encountered such an item." 0

"That's fine," Freya replied with a smile. "As long as you can identify it, taking a bit longer is no problem." 0

"Alright then, please wait here for a while." Jann took out a silver pair of tweezers and placed the item onto a tray before standing up. 0

"I'll head to the lab for a bit. Feel free to look around here. Oh, by the way, I’ve tested the method you told me last time, and it was successful. A few successful specimens are over there." 0

He pointed to a corner not far away where several Brown Flower Pots stood quietly. 0

The pots were home to plants resembling human organs, swaying gently as if they were real. 0

"Oh, so you've actually put my theory into practice?" Freya observed the strange plants calmly, revealing a hint of interest. 0

"That's right," Jann nodded, his gaze towards Freya filled with admiration. "My next step is to try cultivating some specific plant-like Models. If successful, not only the Necromancy Department, but my Plant Energy might also possess undead characteristics." 0

"This will definitely be another great breakthrough in the field." 0

"Heh, of course." Jann picked up the tray in his hand. "Alright, I'm going to experiment now. See you in a bit." 0

"Okay," Freya nodded. 0

As soon as Freya finished speaking, Jann walked towards the other side of the garden with the tray. 0

Watching him completely disappear into the garden, Freya scanned the miniature ecosystem with an interested gaze. 0

She had come this time to uncover the truth about the Revenant Guardian, after all, the existence of the Eye of the River Styx had always been a stumbling block for her. 0

If it wasn't resolved, she didn't know how long it would be before Hell's Mouth could potentially be inadvertently damaged. 0

That would have a significant impact on her future plans. 0

After observing various Magical Plants in the garden for a while, Freya estimated that Jann wouldn't be coming out anytime soon, so she closed her eyes and began to meditate. 0

The Winds of Oblivion's Meditation Method had slowed down the rate at which her mental strength increased since she entered the Second Level. Instead, it began to autonomously modify some of Freya's physical characteristics, allowing her affinity with Wind Element Particles to quickly align. 0

This kind of autonomous modification resembled elementalization but was different from simple elementalization. 0

Moreover, Freya vaguely felt that this change was preparing her for the advancement to Fourth-Level Dawn Wizard. 0

In the data, the Fourth-Level Wizard represents a qualitative transformation of transcending the soul. At this level, in addition to gaining immense power, there is also the sublimation of the soul. 0

Moreover, some data indicates that a wizard's soul at the fourth level can temporarily leave the body, and even if the physical body dies, it can survive for a short time through the soul and find a way to revive itself by reconnecting with a body. 0

From Freya's perspective, this situation represents an existence that transcends material life, likely similar to a Spirit but at a much higher level. 0

Furthermore, once one reaches the Dawn Wizard stage, most world powers can be adapted to quickly by wizards at this level. 0

However, Freya, who chose the Ancient Wizard Heritage, wonders whether this level will affect her in any way. 0

After all, Ancient Wizards primarily focus on the physical body, with spirit and soul being secondary, emphasizing rapid enhancement of their own strength. 0

They utilize the abilities granted by their heritage as combat means. 0

It is worth noting that so far, no wizard has been able to practice two eras of Wizarding Legacy simultaneously; at least Freya is not aware of any such examples. 0

After meditating for more than half an hour, Jann still showed no signs of emerging. 0

Freya opened her eyes and lightly sensed her physical condition. Just as she was thinking about finding something else to do, suddenly, the wooden door she had entered through earlier reappeared. 0

With a creak, the door opened. 0

An elderly man with white hair dressed in a black robe walked in from outside. 0

The old man held a Black Staff in his hand, and a faint shadow could be seen behind him. As soon as he appeared, Freya caught a whiff of a cold, decaying scent, causing her expression to tighten slightly. 0

"The scent of hell." 0

The old man was also taken aback upon seeing Freya. He glanced at the Robe she was wearing and frowned slightly. 0

"Who are you, the wizard from Blood Eagle Territory? I wasn't aware that Jann had friends from Blood Eagle Territory." 0

"I am merely someone who came to ask Lord Jann a question. May I ask who you are?" Freya replied calmly as she stood up from her chair. 0

In her mental perception, the Old Wizard before her emanated mental waves that clung to him like a tangible substance, subtly forming a strange distorted Force Field. 0

Freya was certain that this wizard was definitely a Second-Level Wizard. 0

"Is that so?" The Old Wizard did not answer Freya's question but narrowed his eyes slightly, sizing her up. 0

Suddenly, his gaze fell on Freya's arms, and his expression paused, revealing an intrigued look. 0

"Oh, you actually survived an encounter with a Hell Guardian at your current level. Interesting." 0

"Hmm?" Freya's heart jolted, but she maintained her expressionless demeanor. "While I am curious about Hell World, I don't understand what you mean." 0

Her own concealment technique combined with the energy compression of the Black Forest made her adept at hiding her presence. 0

Even Third-Rank Wizards had never seen through it, yet this guy managed to see through her with just a glance. If he discovered the Ancient Inheritance... 0

With that thought, a cold glint flashed in Freya's eyes. 0

"Hey, there's no need to look at me like that." The Old Wizard pointed to his eyes. "These eyes can see things that you cannot. Encountering the Hell Guardian is not a secret; I have encountered it myself." 0

At that moment, Freya noticed that within the Old Wizard's dark pupils, there seemed to be swirling vortices, which looked quite eerie. 0

"Is that so?" Freya squinted slightly. "I am Freya Green from the Blood Eagle Territory. May I ask who you are?" 0

"I am Krus from the Starlight Tower, an old friend of Jann." (To be continued) 0
