Chapter Three Hundred Fifty-Two: 0

After a while. 0

Sitting at her desk, Freya gently set down the materials in her hands, shaking her head in disappointment. 0

"Just as I thought, it's all superficial information." 0

Among these materials, Freya had prepared various resources for her promotion and researched knowledge related to the world. 0

However, she discovered that the data room of Blood Eagle Territory only contained information that had already been published by major organizations. 0

She had already inferred this information during her previous travels to other worlds and her time in the World Tower. In some ways, Freya's personal experiences of traversing other worlds were far more detailed than what was presented in these documents. 0

"Deep-level knowledge about the world is treated as confidential by major Wizard Organizations and cannot possibly be circulated outside. Even if one becomes a core member, obtaining such information is not guaranteed. However, for this research on other worlds, the higher-ups have invited two expert wizards from Starlight Tower. I hope it won't be too disappointing." 0

Starlight Tower, as the first Wizard Organization in Cloud City to conduct research on other worlds, holds significant authority in this field. However, as far as Freya knew, Starlight Tower had not been involved with the previous Wizard Organizations that collaborated with Blood Eagle Territory; it seemed they had only recently established a connection. 0

To invite two expert-level wizards likely required Blood Eagle Territory to expend considerable resources. 0

After all, while it appeared to be guidance on the surface, it certainly involved secret knowledge that Starlight Tower had studied for many years. Once Blood Eagle Territory acquired this knowledge, they would likely make significant breakthroughs in the field of other worlds in the coming years. 0

"Preparing for a third-level promotion will take at least ten more days. However, establishing the world passage is not something that can be completed quickly. I can certainly find time to complete my promotion during this period. With the aid of the Spiritual Orb, I should have about seventy to eighty percent confidence. Then there's also the choice of Empowerment Spell." 0

Thinking about the third Empowerment Spell, Freya fell into deep contemplation. 0

Previously, her plan for the third Empowerment was also intended for enhancing energy compression spells. However, after several battles, she realized that while energy compression was powerful, it was too singular in nature. 0

Moreover, before being tainted by hell, she relied too heavily on this powerful witchcraft. 0

Once she encounters a method to restrain such abilities, the only trump cards she can use will be a pile of Cursed Items and the most forbidden King Cobra Legacy. 0

In lower levels, battles among wizards mostly involve a combination of physical and witchcraft attacks. At slightly higher levels, it becomes a contest of empowerment and Cursed Items. However, at the level Freya is currently at, low-level Cursed Items have little significance. 0

The combat style at this level primarily revolves around one's own Empowerment Spell and various powerful trump cards or other abilities. Defensive capabilities at this level are essentially optional. 0

After all, there are too many ways to ignore defenses formed by Force Fields or Energy Particles. 0

At least in the battles Freya has encountered, her own defensive capabilities have not played a significant role. 0

If it weren't for the powerful physical attributes gained from her inheritance, she could have easily died. 0

"If I have diverse options, the first Power Field can resolve it. For close combat, I can use compressed energy witchcraft in conjunction with my current physical attributes. Most conventional battles can be conducted with King Cobra's essence as a water-type creature. Choosing a simple Wind Magic at level three is too singular; perhaps I can approach it this way." 0

After thinking for a while, a rough choice for an Empowerment Spell appeared in her mind. 0

This choice may be slightly less powerful than other strong Third-Level Witchcrafts, but it would be much more flexible. Combined with the King Cobra's inheritance, it might yield unexpected results. 0

... 0

Second. 0

In the Sakalen region under the jurisdiction of Blood Eagle Territory. 0

The vast Verdant Prairie is dotted with the ruins of crumbling walls. 0

A gentle breeze stirs the grassland, creating ripples across the surface. 0

Occasionally, wild herbivorous creatures and abandoned wooden cabins can be seen scattered throughout the prairie, giving off a desolate appearance. 0

At this moment, more than ten enormous Red Eagles are gliding slowly overhead. 0

The giant eagles flap their wings as they collectively fly toward a certain direction. 0

In a cleared area, a massive black stone platform abruptly appears. 0

On top of the platform is a crack over a person's height, from which faint Black Smoke emanates. It looks very eerie. 0

Beneath the crack, the stone platform occasionally flashes with a Red Light, preventing the crack from closing naturally. 0

On either side of the stone platform, a row of temporary tents has been set up. 0

Several wizards dressed in Red Robes and white robes stand solemnly, quietly waiting. 0

After a long while, a Crimson Giant Eagle slowly descends not far from the wooden cabin. 0

Several wizards in white robes with red trim quickly disembark from the giant eagle, each carrying two silver leather cases. 0

Leading them is Meilong, dressed in a Red Robe. Behind her are all members of the Rune Department. 0

As the crowd from the Rune Department approached, one of the witches among those waiting, a woman with long fiery red hair, quickly walked over and said in a calm tone. 0

"Welcome, Deputy Minister Mei Long." 0

"Hello, Sister Sani," Mei Long replied with a smile. "How is everything? Have the Elders come out yet?" 0

"Not yet," said Sani, the leader of the Crimson Eagle Guard Unit, shaking her head. "It should be within half an hour, though. However, it seems that the two spatial rifts are starting to close a bit. It appears to be some effects caused by the Elders earlier." 0

"Oh? Is that so? Let's go take a look," Mei Long said, her expression turning serious as she turned around. "Everyone else, prepare to set up the Stabilization Tower. The two experts from Starlight Tower should arrive in about ten minutes, so everyone stay sharp." 0

With that, she and Sani quickly made their way toward the stone platform, while the remaining Runes Department Wizards swiftly opened their leather cases and took out fist-sized cubes to assemble. 0

Freya, who was assembling nearby, glanced around and noticed that besides them and the Crimson Eagle Guard Unit, several other departments had also sent a number of wizards. There was a faint special Force Field surrounding the area, isolating the energy aura and mental fluctuations here; it seemed to be a security measure. 0

Soon, with everyone's efforts, three simple White Towers gradually took shape. 0

Seth raised his arm slightly. The tips of his fingers emitted a faint blue glow as if he were calibrating the energy fluctuations. 0

After a moment, he lowered his arm and looked at Freya, who was already prepared beside him. 0

"So, how about it? Should I do it this time or you?" 0

"You should do it," Freya replied, glancing at the black stone platform surrounded by the three towers. Mei Long and Sani were over there testing something and occasionally conversing. "After all, aside from the Vice Minister, you are the second person in charge this time." 0

"Don't say that. Although I'm in charge, your knowledge of runes is much stronger than mine," Seth said with a smile. "The teacher has high expectations for you this time; I believe that after some time, you'll become the tenth administrator of our Rune Department." 0

Regarding Seth's intention to befriend, Freya merely pointed to the black stone platform over there, where the cracks seemed to tremble slightly as the two spoke. 0

Seeing this phenomenon, Seth did not hesitate and stepped forward. 0

The wizard standing next to the Stabilization Tower quickly evacuated the area. 0

After a pause, he took out a Blue Crystal Pendant from his waist. Holding it in his hand, he began to murmur incantations. 0

Freya stood behind him, clearly sensing a stable mental wave being transmitted through the Pendant towards the three Stabilization Towers. 0

A strong wind blew past, and suddenly a beam of white light illuminated the tops of the three towers, shooting towards the stone platform. 0

Countless white runes emerged within the beam of light, beginning to spread across the entire platform while simultaneously stabilizing the World Rift. 0

The cracks that had been trembling slowly calmed down. 0

After fully activating the towers, Seth retracted his arm and placed the Pendant back at his waist. 0

"With the compressed Magic Crystal Ore we have, if all goes well, these three Stabilization Towers can hold for about a month. That should be enough time for us to establish a stable world passage." 0

"That should be right," Freya nodded. "This time, our Rune Department is bringing everyone along; it's one of the significant events in Blood Eagle Territory's history." 0

"By the way, regarding that rune arrangement you mentioned last time..." 0

As the two were conversing, the World Rift on the stone platform suddenly trembled, and a pair of aged hands reached out to grasp the edge of the fissure. 0

With a strong pull of his arm, an elderly man with long silver hair and a somber expression emerged first, followed by several high-ranking members of the Crimson Eagle Guard Unit dressed in Red Robe. 0

Upon seeing the Grand Elder appear, all the wizards slightly bowed their heads in respect. 0

The Grand Elder scanned the crowd, his gaze landing on Meilong and Sani at the front. 0

He opened his mouth as if to say something, but no sound came out; it was likely some form of telepathy or similar magic. 0

Meanwhile, standing at a distance, Freya unexpectedly lifted her head and quietly observed the elderly man who stood at the highest position in the Blood Eagle Territory. 0

In King Cobra's perception, although not entirely clear, she could still sense a hint of Bloodline Power. 0

This scent resembled that of sea fish but was not pure; it seemed to be a powerful Bloodline synthesized through magic. 0

Although wizards gained extended lifespans due to their elevated life levels, they were ultimately not Eternity. Some wizards who could not break through their limits often incorporated elements from Longevity Species into their own Bloodline to Collapse themselves in hopes of achieving breakthroughs during their lifetimes. 0

This was actually what most wizards did. 0

Soon after several High-ranking Officials finished their discussions, the Grand Elder handed a stack of documents to the witch Sani and then led everyone away from the stone platform towards the Landing Pad, seemingly heading back to the Blood Eagle Territory Headquarters. 0

Once they had completely departed on the giant eagle, Freya turned to Seth beside her and asked, "Do you know what level the Grand Elder is at now?" 0

"Level?" Hearing Freya's question, Seth frowned slightly. "I think I heard from my teacher forty years ago that the current Elder has already reached the Dawn Wizard level for over a hundred years. As for now, I don't know." 0

"A hundred years as a Dawn Wizard?" Freya was momentarily taken aback, then quickly calmed down. "No wonder they were able to sever ties with Sky City back then." 0

Any wizard who reaches level four has a lifespan of at least five hundred years, and the Elder himself possesses the Bloodline of other Longevity Species, so his lifespan is likely even longer. 0

Based on this lifespan, Freya speculated that the Elder might not be too far from reaching level five Archmage. 0

Otherwise, it would have been impossible for Blood Eagle Territory to relinquish the Crimson Plain under the pressure of a giant like Sky City. 0

As Freya's thoughts flickered lightly in her mind, Azure Sky, a massive black Airship slowly emerged from the clouds. 0

The bottom of it resembled a gigantic black sailing ship, with two black chains hanging down to lower the anchor, securing its large body in the air before it began to descend slowly. 0

As the Airship descended, a tremendous wind pressure surged forward. 0

The hurricane caused Freya's golden hair behind her to scatter wildly. She squinted slightly and could see that all those standing on the Airship were wizards from Blood Eagle Territory. 0

"It's the transport team; our supplies have arrived," Seth shouted nearby. 0

Soon, the Airship stopped at a certain height, and two large black ship panels suddenly opened on either side of the Gunwale. 0

With a loud thud, they crashed onto the grass, splattering a large patch of dark soil. 0

Some Tall Shadows dressed in black robes quickly emerged, followed by rectangular objects wrapped in red leather paper being swiftly unloaded and placed in previously designated positions. 0

As the supplies were transported out, on the other side in a relatively secluded passage, wizards from the Blood Eagle Territory gradually descended from the ship. 0

The last to step down were two wizards dressed in silver robes, carrying leather cases. 0

Both had short black hair and bore a silver four-pointed star emblem on their foreheads, a special mark reserved for core wizards of the Starlight Tower. 0

Upon seeing the two wizards from the Starlight Tower, all the wizards from the Rune Department turned their gazes toward them. 0

Meilong approached with a smile and warmly embraced both of them before stepping back. 0

"It’s been a long time, Lord Sis and Lord Hart." 0

Looking at Meilong's aged face, a wizard named Sith from the Starlight Tower revealed a gentle smile. 0

"Heh, I never expected that stubborn girl from back then would now be sitting in the Deputy Director's position. I still remember those days when you were learning under Leonardo; they were truly nostalgic." 0

"However, I have grown old while you still look so young," Meilong sighed lightly. "In fact, when I received the notification, I didn't expect it would be you coming. It was quite a surprise." 0

"Who isn't surprised?" Sith remarked. (To be continued.) 0
