Chapter Three Hundred Sixty-Four: 0

Next to the black hole was a rectangular stone platform, with goat heads carved on all four sides. 0

The goat's head had twisted, spiky horns that occasionally flickered with a dim light, as if they were about to extinguish. 0

Freya lightly landed beside the stone platform and glanced at the bottom of it, where a ring of gray-white dust was scattered around. 0

Her expression slightly darkened as she bent down to pinch some of the dust between her fingers. 0

A wave of scorching heat immediately emanated from her fingertips, and soon wisps of blue smoke began to rise. 0

Ignoring the temperature on her hand, Freya frowned slightly and looked up at the dark cave beside her. 0

"Something has actually gone in there during this time? That kind of Bandage Creature?" 0

After thinking for a moment, she took out a new Magic Crystal and inserted it into the Rune Platform before turning to walk toward the cave. 0

Whatever it was, she needed to see it with her own eyes to know for sure. 0

Chilly winds occasionally swept around the dark cave, and her boots crunched on the gravelly ground, making crisp 'crack' sounds. 0

Once the light source behind her completely disappeared, Freya snapped her fingers. 0

Two bright yellow flames suddenly appeared around her, illuminating the surrounding black cave walls. 0

About ten minutes later, the narrow cave opened up as she remembered. 0

Freya noticed that the black gravel beneath her feet occasionally revealed pale fragments of bone, a strange chill gradually enveloping her, creeping into her neck. 0

"We're almost at the fork where we encountered before." 0

As she murmured softly, she pulled her robe tighter to block the cold wind. A faint glimmer passed through her amber-green eyes. 0

With the increasing frequency of bones appearing underfoot, the once spacious cave began to branch out, with densely packed black holes dotting the walls. 0

A wailing wind blew from the holes, causing Freya's green hair to flutter slightly in front of her. 0

Freya's gaze swept over the large caves branching out, and she noticed that there were significantly more bones on the ground compared to before. 0

They nearly covered the black gravel beneath, forming a path like that of dried bones extending into all the caves. 0

In addition to a faintly decaying odor, the air was mixed with a light scent of blood. 0

This bloody scent seemed to gather on the back of her right hand, slowly being absorbed. 0

In Freya's hazy vision, she saw thick gray-black tendrils subtly extending from within these caves, gently swaying as if trying to grasp something. 0

She also seemed to hear various creatures screaming in her ears. 0

Her physique had always allowed her to see vague Grievance and Death Qi, often attracting the attention of Spirits. 0

However, as her strength grew, even elusive Spirits dared not provoke her; sometimes she even regarded this ability as a form of warning. 0

Seeing the thick resentment at this moment, it was clear that the dangers within were quite tricky. 0

Freya recalled the eerie figure dragging chains that she had seen earlier using the Shadow Prophecy Technique and took a light breath of the cold air. 0

"Regardless, let's test it out first." 0

After pondering for a moment, she opened the black leather case she had been carrying and took out five test tubes filled with Azure Liquid. 0

After removing the stoppers one by one, the Azure liquid quickly evaporated upon contact with the air. 0

Streams of dark blue wind rapidly coalesced in the air, and soon five Azure figures of varying heights appeared before her. 0

One of them, a tall and robust wind element wielding a massive sword, stepped forward and slightly bowed to Freya. 0

"I await your command." 0

Freya pointed to several caves where the resentment was heavier and calmly said, "Enter the caves, eliminate any moving objects inside, and report back with any information you find." 0

"Understood." 0

Upon receiving the order, the five wind elements immediately dashed toward the respective caves and soon disappeared from sight. 0

These wind elements were created by Freya using compressed Secret Art along with other rare resources. 0

Compared to ordinary wind elements, its strength has nearly reached the peak of the first level, even surpassing some specialized First-Level Wizards in wind elements. 0

Even though she is currently a Third-Rank Wizard, she can only summon five of them at most. 0

Freya stood quietly at the numerous cave entrances, and through her subtle mental connection, she could only faintly sense that these wind elements were advancing at an extremely fast speed. 0

Moreover, as the distance increased, her connection became increasingly vague. 0

Five minutes later. 0

Just as these wind elements were about to reach the limit of her mental control, suddenly the connection with three of the wind elements jolted violently. 0

It seemed they encountered some situation; from the dark cave came faint sounds of wailing and dull fighting. 0

This phenomenon lasted only a minute, after which the mental connection with two of the wind elements abruptly severed. 0

Only the strong wind element in the middle, wielding a large sword in both hands, continued to fight. 0

Freya patiently awaited the outcome, and after another minute, that mental connection stabilized and did not break. 0

"Oh? Did they win?" 0

As she murmured softly, the wind element soon flew out of the cave. 0

However, compared to its dark blue color upon entering, the wind element now appeared light Azure, as if it had consumed quite a bit of energy. 0

The intellect was also affected. 0

Glancing at the somewhat dazed Wind Elemental, Freya reached out to touch his forehead. 0

"Let me see what you've encountered." 0

With her eyes slightly closed, Freya's vision suddenly dimmed and then brightened. 0

The black stone wall was rapidly retreating, and the sound of howling wind filled her ears; this was a fleeting memory of the Wind Elemental's swift run. 0

Five minutes ago, everything seemed quite normal except for the occasional meaningless gray light spots and the numerous shattered bones beneath her feet. 0

However, after running for five minutes, a pair of purplish-blue hands suddenly emerged from behind the Wind Elemental without warning, tightly choking his neck. 0

The hands appeared as dry and weak as those of a desiccated corpse, yet their strength was exceptionally great. 0

Caught off guard while running, the Wind Elemental crashed directly into the stone wall ahead. 0

For an ordinary wizard, this impact could have easily resulted in a severed head and body. 0

However, this caused little harm to the Wind Elemental of the Elemental Entity. 0

Then, in the Wind Elemental's line of sight, a figure entirely covered in purple slowly crawled out from the shadows. 0

The figure had two withered heads, no legs, and its limbs were all arms supporting its body, looking extremely bizarre. 0

The wind element then raised its double-edged sword and struck according to Freya's command. 0

The chaos turned the narrow cave into a state of disarray. Although the creature was bizarre, it was incredibly strong. Moreover, it was elusive, like a ghost. 0

If it weren't for the wind element's unique body, it would have died countless times. 0

Finally, just as the wind element was about to dissipate, it suddenly turned and thrust backward. 0

With a 'crack,' that strange creature was unexpectedly split in half and fell to the ground. 0

Seeing this, Freya opened her eyes and looked at the wind element with an unusual gaze. 0

"What a fortunate coincidence." 0

After a pause, she took out a test tube from her waist. The soon-to-dissipate wind element immediately dove into it. 0

Not long after the wind element entered, the remaining two wind elements returned to her side. 0

However, the information brought back by those two wind elements was merely that the path was clear; there was nothing useful. 0

She placed the remaining two test tubes back into her suitcase. 0

"The creature encountered by the wind element, although formidable, seems to be just an ordinary hell creature. It appears these caves are much deeper than I had imagined." 0

What Freya anticipated was that strange bandage creature containing immense bloodline power; ordinary hell creatures held little significance for her. 0

After a moment of thought, Freya chose the cave where the surviving wind element had entered. 0

With her speed, she walked for ten minutes. The smooth cave walls were covered in chaotic white scratches, and the ground was in disarray. 0

Freya glanced around and slowly walked toward a corner. 0

On the ground lay two halves of a strange purplish-blue corpse, which had been killed by the wind element—a Hell Creature. 0

She reached out her hand, and a stream of crimson energy automatically flowed into her palm from the corpse, temporarily replenishing her depleted Bloodline Power. 0

Using the bright yellow flames beside her, Freya looked into the still dark cave, where translucent gray-black tendrils floated like seaweed. 0

Narrowing her eyes slightly, she took out a pouch of green powder from her waist. 0

"Sausananiqa, heed my call of the wind." 0

With the incantation spoken, a gust of azure wind suddenly swept up from behind Freya as she released her grip on the powder. 0

The powder was carried by the azure wind and spread throughout the cave. 0

Once all the powder had been dispersed, she withdrew her hand and stood quietly in place, waiting. 0

One minute passed, then two minutes. 0

Five minutes later, her expression began to darken. 0

"How can it be this deep?" 0

What she had just cast was a simple exploration spell. But strangely, the feedback from the exploration indicated that the cave seemed endless. 0

"Either this cave is truly bottomless, or the spell has been interfered with by something unknown; otherwise, such absurd feedback would not occur. I need to see if that's really the case." 0

Muttering softly, Freya suddenly waved her hands, and a layer of gray clouds was summoned to lift her body as she flew deeper into the cave. 0

She flew quickly, causing the entire cave to echo with the sound of rushing wind. 0

The bright yellow fireballs on either side elongated at this speed, resembling two chains of flames attached to her sides. 0

The stone walls rushed past her, and Freya noticed that the white bones beneath her were becoming denser and more complete. 0

The previously faint Bloodline Aura gradually became clearer as she advanced. 0

However, in addition to the increasingly intense Bloodline Aura, a faint buzzing sound reached Freya's ears from somewhere. 0

It felt like the sound of bees or mosquitoes flapping their wings. 0

At first, the sound was so soft that it could be ignored, but as she delved deeper into the cave, the buzzing began to grow louder. 0

After flying for more than ten minutes, the bright yellow fireball on Freya's left suddenly exploded with a loud bang. 0

The bright explosion of flames made Freya pause for a moment, halting her movement. 0

"Does this sound have a disruptive effect?" 0

Without the howling noise in her ears, the buzzing seemed to become clearer, as if it were right next to her ear. 0

She frowned slightly and covered her ears with her hands, but strangely, the buzzing did not diminish at all. 0

"What is this!?" 0

The buzzing gave Freya a sense of unease, a feeling of frustration building up inside her. 0

It felt as if she needed something to vent her emotions. 0

"Damn it!" 0

She released her arms from covering her ears and suddenly struck the nearby stone wall. 0

'Bang!' 0

With a dull thud, countless dark cracks suddenly appeared where she struck and quickly spread outwards. 0

The cold stone wall jolted Freya awake. She turned to look at her palm, surprised to find a faint trace of blood oozing from it after that strike. 0

"What is this!" 0

Freya let out a cold snort, and the King Cobra Mark faintly glowed, a strand of light green radiance enveloping her ears. 0

The buzzing sound that had been persistent suddenly vanished. 0

"The limitations of Elemental Power here are too great; even a slight disturbance can cause it to collapse." 0

For safety, she had kept her Bloodline Power partially activated since entering the cave, and now it seemed that decision was very necessary. 0

Without the buzzing, the feeling of frustration in her heart also disappeared. 0

Freya glanced at the ground beneath her feet; it was a path made up of large white bones piled together. 0

A sense of decay and chill emanated from below. 0

Her expression turned slightly cold, and she once again took flight deeper into the cave. 0

Time passed, and the surroundings remained shrouded in darkness with stone walls and a white bone path beneath her. Aside from the Hell Creature she encountered at the beginning, there were no other signs. 0

It was hard to tell how long had passed. 0

It could have been a moment, an hour, or even a month. 0

As Freya felt her Bloodline Power gradually depleting, she suddenly noticed that the path beneath her had transformed into square stone tiles without her realizing it. 0

The previously rough stone walls had also become smooth. 0

“Artificial Product!?” 0

She lowered her body and reached out to touch the smooth, gleaming stone wall beside her, feeling the cold sensation pass through her fingers. 0

The stone wall seemed to be covered in a layer of white dust due to its age, and when she wiped it away, intricate black patterns emerged. 0

These patterns were unusually twisted and lacked any logic, resembling something a child might have drawn carelessly. 0

“What are these things?” 0

As she puzzled over the chaotic patterns, she suddenly noticed one area filled with countless crooked circular designs. 0

These circles overlapped each other in various sizes, resembling a dark vortex or a large face made up of round shapes expressing terror. 0

“Hey, what are you looking at?” 0

Suddenly, a hoarse voice came unexpectedly from behind Freya, causing her body to stiffen. 0

A chilling sensation crept over her heart. (To be continued.) 0
