Chapter Three Hundred Sixty-Five: 0

A flash of dark blue light suddenly shot out from behind Freya, sweeping fiercely toward the back. 0

The stone wall behind her was carved with a long, deep groove, sending sparks flying. 0

However, there was no sound at all. 0

With a grim expression, she turned around, retracting her right hand that was entwined with the Black Wind, and scanned her surroundings. 0

It was empty, as if there was truly nothing there. 0

Her gaze, cold and vigilant, sensed something lurking in a corner, watching her. 0

"The sound just now was in the language of Hell World." 0

In the past, she had learned quite a bit of the common language of Hell World to communicate with the intelligent beings within it during her explorations. 0

The abrupt voice she heard clearly was not a hallucination caused by her mental tension. 0

There were no unusual reactions in her mental perception or in the air; not even a trace of Spirit's presence. 0

After a moment of silence, Freya looked at the circular stone wall covered with layers of patterns. The designs now increasingly resembled the howl of Face before death. 0

After some thought, she extended her hands slowly toward those patterns. 0

A faint sound echoed as a large amount of black stone dust quickly fell from the stone wall, soon covering the corner. 0

After thoroughly destroying the intricate patterns, she nodded in satisfaction. 0

Glancing around once more, Freya continued to move forward. 0

However, this time she chose not to fly at high speed but instead walked slowly. 0

The stone slab floor beneath her feet, though appearing ancient, was well-preserved, showing no damage apart from a layer of white dust. 0

On either side, the smooth stone walls revealed various chaotic lines and patterns. 0

As Freya walked through the cave passage, she remained vigilant of any anomalies to her left, right, and behind her. 0

Yet after walking for half an hour, that sound still did not appear, as if it had truly been a figment of her imagination. 0

After another half hour, Freya stopped and took out a black Sphere from her waist. 0

Inside the Sphere, white smoke swirled slowly. Like a vortex, the smoke changed shape as it rotated, occasionally rippling with small waves. 0

Observing the ever-changing smoke, Freya turned her gaze to the nearby stone wall. 0

"Just as I thought. The interference frequency of these elements is emitted by these patterns." 0

An hour ago, when she actively destroyed that part of the pattern, Freya had noticed this detail, and now it indeed seemed to be true. 0

"However," a look of doubt flashed in her eyes. "Why would a naturally formed cave show such obvious signs of artificial alteration? Could this be a passage to some special area?" 0

Freya faintly sensed that she had inadvertently stumbled upon a secret location within the Hell World. 0

Moreover, it was a place that had not yet been discovered by anyone. 0

Calming the turmoil in her heart, she lightly tapped the black Sphere, and a subtle wave of Force Field immediately emanated from it, merging with the defensive Force Field surrounding Freya. 0

The Force Field, which had felt on the verge of collapsing, instantly returned to its original state. 0

Feeling that her magic could be cast normally, Freya retracted the Bloodline Power she had kept isolated, and the noisy buzzing sound faded away. 0

Satisfied with the neutralized interference, she looked up at the still pitch-black cave passage, licked her lips, and chose to move forward. 0

Two hours passed. 0

It was unclear whether it was due to the interference being blocked or because the passage had reached its end, but a massive black stone door appeared before Freya. 0

The stone door completely obstructed the cave passage. 0

Freya approached the stone door and noticed that its surface was covered with bizarrely shaped Face reliefs. 0

These Face reliefs depicted expressions of agony as if they were screaming in their final moments, mouths wide open with tongues and teeth exposed, their eyes showing an unusual fear. 0

Among the reliefs were men, women, elderly people, and children. Freya even saw one relief of a woman whose open mouth bore an indentation resembling a wormhole in her jaw. 0

It was as if all these individuals were sealed in their expressions at the moment they faced their doom. 0

"Is there even such a detail?" 0

Freya looked gravely at the stone door. 0

However, in her King Cobra's perception, a dense Bloodline Power was emanating from behind the door. 0

In just this short moment, the form of the Bloodline Power she had been collapsing had surprisingly achieved a strange state of balance under the pull of the aura. 0

"There must be something I need inside." 0

After pondering for a moment, just as she was about to reach out to touch the stone door, Freya seemed to sense something and suddenly turned around. She was momentarily taken aback. 0

Because behind her, at some point, a young man dressed in a peculiar silver-white outfit was quietly watching her with a smile. 0

The man's face was unusually pale, and at both ends of his forehead were a pair of black horns. His cracked lips faintly revealed two sharp fangs. 0

"Who are you?!" 0

Freya turned around, looking at the man with apprehension. There were no mental fluctuations, no energy aura, and no Bloodline power. He was almost like an air illusion. 0

The man did not respond, still smiling calmly as he looked at her, as if frozen in place. 0

Frowning slightly, Freya flicked her right hand lightly. 0

'Swish!' 0

A green light shot out instantly, piercing through the man's forehead and then 'bang' as it penetrated the ground. 0

"Is it really an illusion?" 0

Seeing the man completely unharmed, Freya cast several test spells and attacks using the Royal Serpent Bloodline, but as expected, they passed through without any effect. 0

After waiting a while longer, and noticing that the man still showed no signs of abnormality, Freya simply turned around and pushed against the stone door covered in Face reliefs. 0

With a screech, the stone slab dragged across the ground, slowly opening under Freya's strength. 0

As the door creaked open, an exceptionally dense Bloodline Power mixed with a nauseating smell of decay rushed towards Freya's face. 0

The intense odor caused Freya to momentarily catch her breath. Her expression changed, and a green aura immediately enveloped her mouth and nose. 0

The door opened just wide enough for one person before it stopped. Freya took out several red pills from her waist and tossed them into her mouth. After chewing and swallowing, she finally felt some relief. 0

"This is the smell of a large number of corpses piling up and rotting, mixed with a considerable concentration of resentment and Death Qi. A normal person would probably die instantly from just a whiff; it's even stronger than the first-level corpse poison technique from the Necromancy Department." 0

Freya glanced back at the strange man who still wore a smile, noticing he remained unresponsive. 0

She paused for a moment before opening the leather case she had been carrying. She began taking out square Rune Stones from inside and started assembling them on the spot. 0

The simple Rune Stones were quickly arranged into a triangular pattern taller than a person. 0

Freya then took out two large black Magic Crystals from the case and placed them on either side of the Rune Platform. She began to murmur the incantation to activate it. 0

A strand of white light emanated from the Rune Platform. The densely packed runes on it began to move rapidly, converging toward the center. 0

Before long, in the center of the Triangular Rune Platform, a giant golden eye slowly began to coalesce. 0

The pupil in the center of the eye was dark golden with slit pupils, surrounded by fine ripples, and a rich aura of Positive Energy gradually filled the entire stone-walled passage. 0

Once the eye fully solidified, Freya extended her hand and gently tapped the center of the eye. 0

With a hiss, the entire stone wall and floor, including the intricately carved stone door, suddenly opened a multitude of golden eyes, densely packed. 0

These eyes emitted a strong light, illuminating the area exceptionally bright. 0

Freya was enveloped by this rich Positive Energy, feeling a warm sensation. 0

The cold and decayed aura of the Hell World seemed to be repelled by this energy. 0

Freya squinted as she looked at the surrounding golden eyes. 0

"The Eye of Light can dispel all things related to Negative Energy, even part of Spirits. It is considered a highly cost-effective purification Rune Array." 0

Purification Rune Arrays are inherently very valuable, and this Eye of Light is the highest level Rune Array that Freya can obtain with her current identity and authority, and she had to pay a price to acquire it. 0

Even two highly concentrated Magic Crystals only provided about an hour's worth of Collapse time. 0

Feeling that the aura behind the stone door had weakened significantly, Freya stepped directly through the stone door and entered. 0

Behind the stone door was a spacious passage where the dense chill alternated with the intense heat of the Eye of Light, making her feel somewhat uncomfortable. 0

As she walked into the silent corridor, only her footsteps echoed around her. 0

Freya scattered some dark red particles behind her as she walked. Once these particles fell to the ground, they vanished, seemingly hidden away. 0

Not long after, another stone door with the same Face relief appeared before her. 0

Collecting the remaining dark red particles, Freya approached the door and pushed it open with force. 0

The stone door opened easily. 0

Standing at the entrance, Freya flicked her finger lightly. 0

A bright yellow flame immediately shot out from between her fingers and floated in the air. 0

With the light of the flame, Freya noticed that behind the door was a spacious hall. 0

Thirteen black pillars were haphazardly distributed around the area, supporting the entire space. Various Faces were intricately carved on the pillars, lifelike as if they were real people. 0

The flickering shadows of the flame cast onto the Faces gave Freya an eerie feeling as if she were being watched by them all at once. 0

In addition to these pillars, there was a raised stone platform about half her height in the center of the hall, with black Stone Steps on either side. Atop the platform was a large black seat. 0

Behind the seat stood towering black spikes, giving it an artistic yet menacing appearance. 0

"What is this?" 0

Looking at the seat that resembled one for a giant, Freya frowned slightly. 0

Based on the size of the seat, any creature that could sit in it would definitely be no less than five meters tall, almost the same height as an ordinary giant. 0

Feeling that there was nothing dangerous, she slowly walked to the center of the strange hall, surveying her surroundings. 0

Suddenly, she noticed that among the scattered pillars, a few had a somewhat translucent appearance. 0

She approached the nearest translucent pillar. 0

Freya discovered that a strange shadow vaguely appeared in the center of this translucent pillar. 0

These shadows looked exceptionally tall, with various chaotic tentacles bound together, resembling not a humanoid but rather a type of Hell Creature. 0

"Is it a sculpture or a sealed creature?" 0

As she speculated lightly, she was about to reach out and touch the face relief on the outside of the pillar. 0

"What are you doing!!" 0

Suddenly, the previously hoarse voice reappeared, and this time Freya clearly sensed the direction of the voice. 0

She turned her head sharply and looked toward the enormous seat. 0

The empty seat seemed to be occupied by an invisible massive figure, which was gazing at her with a solemn expression. 0

Freya squinted slightly, glancing at the translucent pillar behind her. 0

"This is a warning to me. It seems there is indeed something akin to a seal within this pillar. What if I do this?" 0

She reached out her hand, trying to get closer to the pillar while concentrating her mind and observing her surroundings. 0

Just as Freya's fingers were about to touch the surface of the pillar, a sudden chill ran up her arm, as if her bare skin had brushed against ice. 0

Freya's expression changed slightly, and she quickly withdrew her hand. 0

A cold aura rose from her arm, and when she rolled up her sleeve, she saw a dark handprint clearly imprinted on her bare skin. 0

"What is this?" 0

Seeing that handprint sent a shiver down Freya's spine. 0

She quickly pulled out the Black Sphere from her waist. Inside, the swirling smoke had transformed into the shape of a person, sitting cross-legged. 0

Upon seeing the figure formed from the vortex, Freya felt a chill deep within her. 0

"A high-level Spirit!?" 0

This black sphere was a type of special detection Cursed Item and was something she had prepared for this occasion. 0

In addition to having a strong resistance to interference, she also has her own way of discerning Spirits. 0

Now, the changes in the smoky vortex have hinted to her that a very powerful Spirit is secretly watching her from somewhere nearby. 0

Or perhaps it has been following her ever since she entered this cave. 0

High-level Spirits are entities that even Dawn Level wizards do not wish to provoke. 0

According to Freya's knowledge from some materials, such Spirits have essentially developed intelligence and self-awareness. 0

Unlike ordinary, muddled Spirits, they can represent a new form of life. 0

"Since it has intelligence, although it seems to be following me, it doesn't appear to have any intention of harming me. Is it just trying to prevent me from doing certain things? Could this Spirit be guarding something?" 0

After the initial shock, Freya's thoughts quickly became clear again, and she immediately began to analyze some gaps in her reasoning. 0

Suddenly, she seemed to sense something and looked up towards one side of the throne. 0

There, a row of distinct grayish-white footprints slowly began to emerge. (To be continued.) 0
