Chapter Three Hundred Seventy-Five: 0

Freya stood before the burning black robe with a slightly grim expression. 0

The flames on the black robe were clearly the experimental fire, a type of magic specifically created to deal with failed experimental subjects. 0

It could effectively destroy spiritual remnants, energy information, and all traces related to the items. 0

It was even more thorough than her Ashfire. 0

After finally catching a clue, encountering such an unexpected situation left Freya with a frustrating feeling as if she had punched into thin air. 0

In just two seconds, the black robe was completely reduced to ashes, which then blended into the soil. 0

"To think there is an organization that trains at least Second-Grade Peak wizards into Undead Warriors," Freya thought, a shadow of darkness flashing in her eyes. 0

Once the ashes of the black robe were scattered by the wind, she did not linger and turned back toward the direction of the base. 0

The second morning at six o'clock. 0

The dense White Mist that had gathered overnight dissipated like an illusion, and the entire World Gate base slowly awakened. 0

The few wizards on duty during the night had no idea what had happened; everything seemed perfectly normal. 0

Five red giant eagles and an Airship flew swiftly through the sky. 0

The Airship emitted a faint noise, causing all the wizards on the ground to look up. 0

Standing in front of the Rune Tower, Freya slightly squinted her eyes. With her keen eyesight, she could clearly see several personnel from the Rune Department dressed in white robes with red edges standing on top of the Airship. 0

However, leading them was a Female Wizard wearing a White Mask and a black robe. 0

Noticing Freya on the ground, the witch slightly lowered her head and nodded imperceptibly as a greeting. 0

Soon, the Airship and the giant eagle landed on the Landing Pad. 0

Several wizards from the Rune Department were the first to disembark from the Airship, making their way without pause toward the damaged Rune Tower. 0

Among them, the elderly wizard Eric walked at the forefront. Upon seeing Freya standing by the Rune Tower, he immediately displayed a respectful demeanor. 0

"Milady." 0

"Yes, repair the Rune Tower as quickly as possible. The matter of the World Gate needs to be resolved swiftly to ensure the safety of the passage." 0

"Understood!" 0

Receiving Freya's command, Eric waved his hand, and the other wizards, including himself, immediately rushed past Freya toward the incapacitated Rune Tower. 0

Watching this busy group, Freya turned to look at the last figure approaching her—the Black-Robed Witch wearing a White Mask. 0

She nodded slightly. "You've arrived." 0

"Yes." The witch stood beside Freya. "How is the situation? Any useful clues?" 0

"The situation is fine; I was just attacked last night by a wizard at least at Second-Grade Peak." Freya replied calmly. 0

"Oh?" The witch looked at Freya. "With your strength, you should have captured him, right?" 0

"No." She gently shook her head. "That guy committed suicide and left no traces behind. However, I did find something earlier." 0

As she spoke, Freya took out a test tube containing a reconnaissance Bee from her waist pouch and handed it to the witch. 0

"Can you tell what it is?" 0

"Suicide?" The witch looked at the Test Tube in her hand, slightly taken aback. 0

"This is a Ghostface Bee, a naturally evolved creature that usually appears only in areas with dense Negative Energy. There are at least three locations in the Crimson Plain, and that area used to belong to the Elk Wizard Family." 0

"Truly impressive, coming from a professional of the Intelligence Department," Freya said, admiringly glancing at the witch. "You can gather so much information with just one look." 0

The witch ignored Freya's comment and calmly inserted the Test Tube into her waist, then said, "It's surprising that someone would attack my Blood Eagle Territory's World Gate while provoking in Sky City. What do you think about the connection between these two events?" 0

"Are you asking me?" Freya pointed to herself, amused. "I'm just an ordinary member of the Rune Department. What insight could I possibly have? Besides, since you're here, I should return to the Rune Headquarters. Otherwise, with just Sais around, he might start making suggestions to Lord Meilong." 0

"You," the witch shook her head slightly. "So, it's been a while since we last met. How about having a drink before you leave?" 0

After considering the witch's suggestion, Freya declined. "Never mind. I still have some unfinished business, and there have indeed been quite a few matters within the organization lately." 0

"Alright then," the witch nodded, not insisting further. 0

"Well, I'll leave this to you," Freya said as she looked up at the members of the Rune Tower in the distance who had begun their repair work. A flicker of white electricity occasionally flashed from the dark tower above. 0

"Just a reminder, with the recent attack on the World Gate, other Resource Points might also encounter trouble soon." 0

"Oh? So you anticipated this?" The witch tilted her head to look at Freya. 0

In response, Freya simply smiled. 0

"I'm just speculating; the specifics are still your responsibility in the Intelligence Department, right? Well then, I should be going." 0

"Mm." The witch nodded. 0

Freya walked towards the Rune Tower, briefly explained a few things, and then headed straight for the Landing Pad. 0

Her current identity was not suitable for long-term guarding at the World Gate. In less than two hours, the Rune Department would likely have accumulated quite a number of documents. 0

With the involvement of the Intelligence Department here, it was unlikely that any other issues would arise. 0

After all, the Intelligence Department was the most covert among all departments in the Blood Eagle Territory, and its hidden strength was significantly greater than that of the visible Crimson Eagle Guard Unit. 0

Five minutes later. 0

Riding on the giant eagle, Freya left the base and flew towards headquarters. 0

Sitting on the fixed seat on the eagle's back, a strong wind brushed against Freya's cheeks. The rising red sun in the distance mixed with beautiful morning clouds made her squint slightly. 0

The various events occurring in the Blood Eagle Territory were just a part of her life. 0

With her current strength, there was likely no one in Cloud City who could keep her there instantly. 0

"Since I have now achieved the condensation of my first form, once I finish dealing with matters in the Blood Eagle Territory, that plan should also be set in motion." 0

The hellish journey from eleven years ago had always been a psychological burden for her, especially after learning about the general history of the Lord of Death. 0

Based on the descriptions, Freya could vaguely guess the approximate level of the Lord of Death. 0

To be able to rule over the entire Eerie Hell World was undoubtedly more powerful than any existence she currently knew. 0

"However, the condensation of my Second Form is not merely about collecting Bloodlines; it carries a significance that once belonged to King Cobra. Stardust Prairie..." 0

In ancient times, Stardust Prairie was the sacred land of Mud Python. It was once the largest wetland in the Wizarding World. 0

The area is several times larger than Cloud City, and countless beings live there. 0

The purpose of the King Cobra is to guard that place. 0

However, it is unknown where that vast wetland is now. 0

The howling morning wind brushes through her long hair, and Freya falls into contemplation about the road ahead. 0

The scenery beneath the giant eagle rushes by quickly. Expanses of green forests and houses slide past her view. 0

Suddenly, the brown pupils of the Crimson Giant Eagle narrow slightly, and two faint blood-red runes slowly split within its pupils. 0

Its straight flying speed unknowingly begins to tilt. 0

But this degree of tilt would go unnoticed if not detected. 0

Soon, the ground below becomes increasingly barren. Occasionally, patches of yellow sand appear. 0

The humid air also turns somewhat dry. 0

This anomaly causes Freya to pause slightly; she looks down and discovers a desolate stretch of sand. 0

On the sandy ground, a few green plants occasionally emerge, while several black crows circle in the sky, occasionally emitting soft cawing sounds. 0

The giant eagle continues flying but unexpectedly descends toward the sandy ground without Freya's command. 0

"Whoosh!!" 0

The wind generated by the eagle's landing stirs up a cloud of sand, and its sharp claws sink into the ground. 0

Freya furrows her brow as she gazes at this strange sandy area, feeling an unsettling sense of being watched. 0

She tried to grab the reins on the back of the giant eagle, but found that it seemed to be fixed in place, not moving at all. 0

At that moment, Freya noticed that Hawkeye had two faint red marks that had appeared at some point, glowing lightly. 0

"Hypnosis? When did it happen?" 0

'Crack' 0

As she was puzzled, a faint sound came from behind a plant in the sandy ground. 0

A figure dressed in a black robe slowly emerged from behind the plant. 0

On the chest of the black robe was a cross mark, and this person exuded a very strong aura. 0

After a pause, the robed figure lifted his hood, revealing an ordinary male face, but strangely, his eyes were completely white, as if there were no pupils inside. 0

On his forehead was engraved a complex rune. 0

Seeing the appearance of the two and their displayed hostility, Freya frowned slightly and said coldly, "Who are you?" 0

Without answering Freya's question, the Wizard looked at her with an interested gaze. 0

"Heh heh, the level of Third Peak. You must be the one who forced Morian to return to my master." 0

"Morian?" Upon hearing this name, Freya immediately recalled the black robe from last night who had committed suicide, and her expression turned understanding. 0

"Oh, so you are one of them? What’s this? Attacking an Official Wizard in Blood Eagle Territory so openly. That’s a capital offense; do you intend to turn yourself in?" 0

"Foolish!" 0

It seemed that the words of Freya had provoked the figure in the black robe, who slightly opened his hands and murmured in fragmented sentences. 0

Freya's gaze sharpened slightly. 0

In her perception, the air around her seemed to twist subtly. 0

Suddenly, a large black door burst forth from the sandy ground. 0

The door appeared to be made of iron, covered in various strange patterns, with thick black chains on either side. 0

With a creak, the door slowly opened, and wisps of crimson smoke began to seep out from the crack. 0

A mournful sound emerged from behind the door, followed by a dog’s head that seemed to have been skinned, emerging from behind it. The blood-red and white muscle fibers were clearly visible. 0

The dog's sharp canine teeth were exposed without any lips covering them, giving off a very ferocious impression. 0

Moreover, there was a strong scent of sulfur mixed in. 0

"Is this an Abyssal Hellhound?!" Seeing the strange appearance of the dog, Freya was momentarily taken aback. 0

She had seen one during her time as an apprentice at Elgreen Academy, but that Abyssal Hellhound had two heads, while this one only had one and was much larger. 0

What once seemed like an invincible Abyssal Creature now appeared to Freya as merely at the peak level of a First-Level Wizard. 0

After a pause, Freya revealed a cold smile. 0

"Do you really think you can rely on this dog to kill me? So far, my encounters with the Abyss World have been few, and now I have a test subject." 0

However, the scene that followed made Freya's expression gradually turn serious. 0

As the first Abyssal Hellhound stepped through the door, a second Abyssal Hellhound emerged, then a third, a fourth, all the way up to the thirteenth, as if the door connecting to the abyss was slowly dissipating. 0

At this moment, Freya's field of vision was filled with the figures of Abyssal Hellhounds. 0

These creatures opened their big mouths filled with fangs and emitted whimpering sounds, as if they could pounce at any moment. 0

Their presence was uniformly at the peak of level one. 0

"Hehe." The figure in the black robe stood among the many Abyssal Hellhounds with a mocking smile. "Aren't you looking for test subjects? Hehe, come and take one if you can. Devour her, my darlings." 0

With his command, all the Abyssal Hellhounds rushed forward eagerly. 0

Contrary to their massive size, their bodies were agile; they seemed weightless as they almost instantly reached Freya's face. 0

With their big mouths open, they lunged to bite her. 0

"Hmph!" 0

Seeing the closest Abyssal Hellhound pouncing towards her, Freya's eyes turned cold. She swiftly drew her Cross Sword and thrust it forward with force. 0

'Swish!!' 0

The head of the foremost Abyssal Hellhound was cleaved open, revealing magma-like brain fluid. It let out a howl and flew backward but surprisingly did not die. 0

This kind of powerful vitality made Freya's heart sink. 0

Without time to think further, she quickly retreated and then soared into the air. 0

"Rip!!" 0

The dazed giant eagle was directly engulfed by the red giant hound, its disheveled feathers mixed with the scent of blood covering the entire area. 0

Several Abyssal Hellhounds quickly devoured the giant eagle completely. 0

The Abyssal Hounds that did not get any food raised their heads to look into the sky, and then, as if stepping on air, they chased after Freya above. 0

Freya noticed that the first Abyssal Hellhound she had struck down was already shaking its head and standing up, a deep crack on its forehead rapidly closing. 0

Originally somewhat dismissive, Freya's expression suddenly became serious. 0

Facing the relentless Abyssal Hellhounds coming at her, she flickered and seemed to vanish into thin air. 0

Then, a large splash of blood erupted from the group of Abyssal Hellhounds. 0

Chaotic sword marks appeared all over these Abyssal Hounds, making their already flayed bodies even more gruesome. (To be continued.) 0
