Chapter Four Hundred and Three: 0

"Ugh," Seth rolled his eyes. "You, pushing that child to such heights at her age. Be careful she doesn't waste her talent." 0

"Don't worry," Freya smiled. "This is also a form of training for her. Do you not trust me? After all, Wen Li is my only disciple." 0

"Fine, it's up to you," Seth shrugged. "Anyway, you're already the Deputy Director now. In three years, I'll be heading to another world. If all goes well, I'll return within a hundred years. If something unexpected happens..." 0

His expression darkened slightly as he continued, "Please take care of those guys." 0

"Understood," Freya nodded. 0

Both of them knew this was one of the many paths a wizard could take to regain hope after exhausting their potential, and it was considered one of the more reliable options. 0

In the history of wizards, there had been those who returned from journeys to other worlds, coming back with immense power and wealth. 0

But that was only a minority. 0

The outcome of this gamble was unpredictable; no one could foresee what would happen. 0

If Freya had not entered the World Tower and met that otherworldly merchant, Edgar, her path might have been even more arduous than Seth's. 0

The topic felt heavy, and both fell into silence for a moment. 0

The meeting finally concluded two hours later. 0

Some key figures stayed behind to discuss matters while others returned to their posts. 0

As Freya stepped out of the conference room, she was immediately greeted with congratulations from several Runes Department Wizards. 0

In no time, the Secret Mark on her fingertip began to flicker with Azure Light. 0

Someone suggested holding a celebration party for Freya that evening. 0

Although it was difficult to refuse, she decided to send Wen Li or let her clone handle the situation that evening. 0

This noisy topic continued for half an hour before it finally ended. 0

On the main road leaving the Blood Eagle Territory Headquarters, Freya walked side by side with Seth. 0

She smiled wryly as she looked at the ever-changing Secret Mark on her fingertips, which had just received various pieces of information. 0

"I just think the Deputy Director position isn't suitable for me; it's too troublesome." 0

"Haha." Seeing Freya's current expression, Seth grinned and held back his laughter. "Consider it training; after all, there are still many days ahead." 0

"Okay. Enough." Seth looked up at the setting sun. He smiled and said, "I have some matters to attend to, so just report my attendance at tonight's party. It's specially prepared for you, so don't even think about escaping." 0

"Alright. Hurry up and go." Freya waved her hand casually. 0

"Mm." 0

Watching Seth's departing figure, Freya paused for a moment before heading towards the Library Tower in the Blood Eagle Territory. 0

The various powers of the Deputy Director had already been granted to her when she received the seal. 0

What she could not access before was now free of any restrictions due to her identity as Deputy Director. 0

"The Ancient Wizard Heritage ultimately allows its inheritors to become something like World Guardians. But what about the Modern Wizard's Meditation Method? It's known that there isn't much contradiction between inheritance and the Meditation Method itself, so why did no one choose to learn both together back then? Was it merely due to differing perspectives or limited personal energy? Or is there a deeper reason?" 0

Freya slowly stepped onto the stairs of the Library Tower and raised her head to look at the dark tower. 0

"Perhaps the answer lies here." 0

The black door was slightly ajar, flanked by elite wizards of the Crimson Eagle Guard Unit dressed in red robes. 0

Upon seeing Freya arrive, they merely nodded slightly, offering no further courtesy. 0

Freya paid them no mind and walked directly into the tower. 0

Without any hesitation, she stepped over layer upon layer of wooden stairs and passed through numerous protective Force Fields, quickly reaching the top level of the Library Tower. 0

Freya pressed the seal at her waist into a circular hole in a large black door. 0

With a click, the seal turned, and then the door slowly opened. 0

A bitter scent of grease immediately wafted from behind the door. 0

With a snap, the crystal chandelier inside the library lit up automatically. The moment Freya stepped inside, she felt as if she had passed through a soap bubble. 0

She turned her head to glance back at the seemingly ordinary door. In her line of sight, countless distorted rays of light flickered rapidly. 0

"Is this simplified realm technology? Those without permission will be directly teleported to other areas. So that strange sensation I felt when I first arrived came from this. Interesting." 0

After a pause, Freya's gaze shifted to the library that housed many secret documents of the Blood Eagle Territory. 0

It was not as exquisite as one might imagine; it could only be considered ordinary. 0

The entire room contained only a single Mahogany Bookshelf, with runes encircling it to ensure that the books would not deteriorate over time. 0

Aside from that, there was nothing else. 0

Walking over to the bookshelf, Freya glanced at the books displayed on it. She discovered that most of the books were merely ideas and conjectures regarding certain experiments or explorations in unknown areas. 0

Only a few contained detailed blueprints of large Rune Arrays and some war-grade Witchcraft Models. 0

"It seems different from what I imagined," Freya raised an eyebrow as she looked at the materials. 0

She had originally thought that this library, which housed the secrets of the Blood Eagle Territory, would be grand and magnificent, filled with powerful Witchcraft Models or blueprints for war-grade weapons. 0

Even if those were absent, there should have been some precious historical documents or secret materials from other powerful organizations within Cloud City. 0

But now, 0

Freya casually pulled out a book with a black cover. It was a theoretical study on Spatial Folding Technology, along with related experimental data and development progress. 0

The book recorded various broad conjectures and changes in numerical values resulting from specific experiments. 0

On the last page, there was even a vision for the future applications of this Spatial Folding Technology. 0

"Does it consider civilian technology that includes not only wizards but also ordinary people?" 0

Freya closed the book thoughtfully and placed it back in its original position. 0

She glanced at the book beside it, which was about the efficient Purification Tower Blueprint. 0

The Wizarding World was filled with various Energy Particles, making life more convenient for wizards. However, the wars among wizards and some experimental abuses had led to irreversible damage to nature. 0

These energy pollutants might not mean much to wizards, but they were undoubtedly lethal to ordinary living beings. 0

Although it was possible to gradually dispel these energy pollutants through catalysis using plants, this method took too long. 0

Therefore, some research departments developed Purification Towers or purification magic as quick techniques to disperse energy pollution. 0

According to Freya, the Blood Eagle Citadel is surrounded by eight powerful Purification Towers. These towers not only quickly disperse energy pollution but also allow some Knight Level ordinary beings to enter the city without being harmed by the radiation naturally emitted by the wizards. 0

This highly efficient Purification Tower is evidently an upgraded version of the original Purification Tower. 0

"Perhaps, once this Purification Tower is developed, even ordinary people can live alongside wizards," Freya speculated calmly. 0

She seemed to understand why this library did not contain the things she had previously imagined. 0

"In other words, what this library holds is not just anything, but a relatively clear blueprint for the future of Blood Eagle Territory, rather than random imaginings. It is a truly visible future." 0

Freya felt a complex mix of emotions that was hard to describe. 0

Even though she had long understood that every world is constantly progressing, seeing it presented before her still stirred her feelings. 0

"Well," she took a gentle breath. "I might have some clarity on the significance of the White Wizards, but before that, let me address the question in my heart." 0

Freya's gaze swept across the bookshelves and soon found two books with blue and red covers in a corner. 0

These were the original editions of two Advanced Meditation Methods from Blood Eagle Territory. 0

Freya reached out and took the Azure book, opening it directly. 0

The text recorded inside was actually in Ancient Elvish Language, a special language used for casting spells. 0

However, although it was different from the text she would see later, the content was largely similar with little difference. 0

Before long, she flipped to the last page. 0

Closing the book, Freya looked at the Azure giant bird on the cover and frowned slightly; its wings were spread open as if a breeze was flowing around. 0

"Ancient elves are considered a branch of humanoid wizards, with long lifespans and a history that predates humanity. However, due to environmental changes and human actions, ancient elves have completely vanished or been assimilated. What we mostly see now are half-elves or humans with rare elven bloodlines. It seems these Advanced Meditation Methods may indeed be new paths to power developed by wizards through exploration after the war. But why has the legacy of Ancient Wizards declined? Is it due to the complete extinction of the original bloodlines?" Freya fell into deep thought. 0

She knew that the key to Ancient Inheritance was the original Bloodline and the power of many other Bloodline. 0

However, among the existing Ancient Family that have been passed down through generations, the preservation of pure blood is considered fundamental. With the abundant resources of these ancient families, obtaining the necessary large amounts of Bloodline power is not a difficult task. 0

"I remember when I fought against the silver wolf from the Klyent Family, it used a power similar to Bloodline, but there were no traces of any witchcraft—just pure Bloodline power, perhaps mixed with some special Cursed Items. Could it be that my inherited King Cobra Legacy is more advanced and can learn alongside modern Meditation Method?" 0

Freya faintly felt that this question might be the key to something. 0

There might be some conflict or contradiction between the two, but it did not manifest in her. 0

After pondering for a long time, she still could not come up with a reliable conclusion. 0

Suddenly, Freya seemed to think of something. She took out the Horn Communicator from her waist and turned on the switch. 0

"Klyent, are you there? I have a question I want to ask." 0

After a while, a slightly distorted voice came through before Klyent replied. 0

"What question? Freya, by the way! I haven't settled the score with you yet. What happened to my house? Why are there so many holes? Do you know how much I spent to fix it?" 0

In response to Klyent's roar, Freya moved the horn slightly away from herself and brought it back closer once the voice calmed down. 0

"I'll make you three Special Magic Artifact for free as compensation. How does that sound?" 0

"Three Special Magic Artifact?" Upon hearing Freya's voice, Klyent's tone changed dramatically as he laughed. "Hahaha, yours! By the way, what was your question again?" 0

"I wanted to ask why there are no examples of Ancient Family practicing both Advanced Meditation Method." 0

"Hmm? What made you think to ask this question?" Klyent replied with slight confusion but continued. "Well, this isn't exactly a secret. Since you're asking this question, I assume you understand that the inheritance of Ancient Family comes from the power of Ancient Bloodline, right?" 0

"Yes, I know a bit," Freya answered. 0

"That makes it easier to explain. In fact, regarding the power of Bloodline, the existing Meditation Method belongs to two completely different paths. One is about cultivating a powerful body, while the other is about existing as a life form detached from the body in other ways. If both are learned simultaneously, they will eventually collide at some point and then make a choice of abandonment; otherwise, neither can reach their potential." 0

"Hmm?" Hearing Klyent's explanation, Freya was slightly taken aback. "You mean that ultimately, the two cannot coexist, right?" 0

"Yes, that's the main reason," Klyent continued. "Actually, from what I've discovered over the years in various ruins, the paths of power in our world are not limited to just these two known types. However, in the end, every power will reach a position that creates severe 'repulsion' with other paths. This can be considered one of the rules of many worlds." 0

After Klyent's explanation, Freya fell silent for a moment before slowly responding. 0

"Okay, I Understand. Thank you." 0

"You're welcome. But don't forget your promise to me about the three Magic Weapons." 0

"No problem." 0

Freya turned off the communicator and raised her head. Her pupils gradually turned green, and various bright Thin Lines reappeared in her vision. 0

"As the Second Form approaches its condensation, World Power has already begun to slowly transform my body. It's not just external; even my soul is being affected. But why is there no 'repulsion' as Klyent mentioned? Have I not reached that point yet?" 0

She shifted her gaze to herself; her soul, which should have been blue, was now faintly shifting towards the green of the King Cobra. The Thin Lines were slowly wrapping around her, seemingly binding her. (To be continued...) 0
