Su Xingchen took a deep breath and slowly bent his knees.
"Brother Xingchen, don't!" Tang Xiaotang cried out, struggling desperately to break free from Ye Qingtian's grip.
"Stop! Everyone stop!" At that moment, a sharp female voice rang out as Lin Xi rushed onto the stage with a dozen security guards, surrounding Ye Qingtian.
Lin Xi ran to Su Xingchen's side, helping him up and anxiously said, "Xingchen, are you okay?"
"I'm fine." Su Xingchen shook his head, his gaze never leaving Ye Qingtian. He slowly stood up and walked step by step toward Ye Qingtian, his tone icy as he said, "Ye Qingtian, let her go. You have no way out now."
Ye Qingtian looked at the approaching Su Xingchen, a hint of despair showing on his face. He lowered his head to look at Tang Xiaotang in his arms and softly said, "I'm sorry, Xiaotang. I've dragged you into this."
Tang Xiaotang looked at Ye Qingtian with tear-filled eyes, shaking her head without saying a word.
Ye Qingtian closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and suddenly released his grip on Tang Xiaotang. He pressed the dagger against his own chest and shouted in anguish, "Su Xingchen, even if I die, I will take you down with me!"
"No!" Su Xingchen's pupils constricted as he realized it was too late to stop him.
"Bang!" A gunshot rang out, hitting Ye Qingtian's arm. The dagger fell to the ground as he stared in disbelief, slowly turning to look in the direction of the gunfire.
"Who?!" Lin Xi exclaimed as the security guards immediately raised their batons, warily scanning their surroundings.
A uniformed police officer stepped out from the crowd and approached Ye Qingtian coldly, saying, "Ye Qingtian, you are under arrest for multiple charges. We are formally taking you into custody!"
Behind the police, several officers escorted a few men in black out.
"These people are your accomplices, right?" the officer pointed at the men in black and said to Ye Qingtian.
Ye Qingtian slumped helplessly to the ground, his eyes vacant as if he had lost his soul.
The police placed handcuffs on Ye Qingtian and led him off the stage.
Su Xingchen walked over to Tang Xiaotang, gently holding her in his arms, softly comforting her, "It's okay, Xiaotang, it's okay..."
Tang Xiaotang tightly embraced Su Xingchen, her body still trembling slightly, tears soaking his chest. Su Xingchen gently patted her back, his eyes filled with pity and guilt.
"Xingchen, are you okay? Are you hurt?" Lin Xi asked anxiously, carefully examining him, afraid of missing any injury.
"I'm fine." Su Xingchen shook his head, signaling Lin Xi to relax, but his gaze remained alert as he scanned the surroundings. He knew that although Ye Qingtian had been captured, this concert was far from over.
Suddenly, the stage lights brightened, illuminating the entire area. Su Xingchen maintained his singing posture, a confident smile on his face as if nothing had happened. His gaze swept across the audience before finally resting on a dark corner.
"It seems my concert is quite popular, even attracting some uninvited guests," Su Xingchen's voice echoed through the microphone across the entire stadium, his tone laced with a hint of sarcasm that sent chills down people's spines.
As soon as the words were spoken, several shadows rushed toward the stage from the darkness below.
"Protect Xingchen!" Lin Xi shouted immediately upon seeing this. The security personnel reacted quickly, rushing onto the stage and surrounding Su Xingchen.
Su Xingchen handed Tang Xiaotang to Lin Xi and picked up a decorative metal pole from the stage, assuming a defensive stance. Although he was not a professional fighter, he had grown up on the streets and had developed agile skills.
The shadows charged onto the stage without hesitation, swinging their clubs at Su Xingchen. He remained calm, wielding the metal pole like a nimble serpent, accurately blocking and countering each attack. Each strike created a sharp wind sound, forcing the shadows to retreat repeatedly.
"Ah!" A gasp came from the audience as one shadow was kicked away by Su Xingchen, crashing heavily into a chair in the audience, creating a loud noise.
Su Xingchen did not linger in battle; while fending off the attacks from the shadows, he used his singing to soothe the panicking fans: "Everyone stay calm, with us here, everything will be alright!"
His voice stood out clearly amidst the chaos, acting like a calming agent that gradually settled the restless crowd.
"Bang!" On stage, one shadow was subdued by security and pinned to the ground. Seeing this, the other shadows realized they wouldn't gain anything today and dropped their weapons, turning to flee.
"Want to run? Not so easy!" Su Xingchen snorted coldly, taking a quick step forward and sweeping his metal pole to trip the last shadow attempting to escape.
The security personnel surged forward and subdued all the shadows, putting handcuffs on them.
