The atmosphere in the conference room was quite heated as Running Man was planning its third Asian Tour. There were four destinations in total: Phuket, Thailand; Macau; Beijing, China; and Hokkaido.
Everyone was brainstorming good ideas for this large-scale project. The writers' proposals needed to be more thoroughly refined and evaluated, while the producers were integrating more detailed implementation plans based on the writers' suggestions.
Ultimately, based on the characteristics of each location, the main games for the four episodes were decided: a sea chase in Phuket Island, extravagant gambling in Macau, a fortress assault at the Great Wall, and an old train journey in Hokkaido.
"Who should we invite as guests?" Zhao PD asked. "Feel free to suggest any stars that fit the theme."
Upon hearing this, everyone began discussing, with names of male and female idols being thrown around. However, Anna and everyone else knew that who would actually be invited depended on whether their schedules allowed it.
"Also, our first stop will be Phuket Island. Half of the Task Force will come with me two days early, while the other half will stay with Miao PD and join the members later," Zhao PD said.
Everyone certainly hoped to arrive two days early; who wouldn't want to go to Phuket Island, a great vacation spot? But they also understood that the specific arrangements depended on the PDs' decisions.
Seeing everyone looking at him with anticipation, Zhao PD smirked mischievously, completely shedding his previous serious demeanor at work. Anna felt a bit out of place.
Holding the list as if announcing award winners, Zhao PD straightened his back. This stylishly dressed middle-aged man showed a playful side for the first time, sending shivers down Anna's spine.
After much anticipation, Zhao PD finally spoke: "Camera Crew: Zhou Chitian, Lee Jin-Soo, Park Min-seo, Wu Hao..."
Those whose names were called cheered silently below.
"FD: Dongwan, Li Xiuyu, Zheng Tianming, Anna Zheng..."
Anna smiled at Dong Wan, who was sitting next to her, feeling a surge of happiness deep inside.
Once the list was announced, there was a mix of joy and melancholy. Miao PD joked, "Everyone, don't be like this. Is it really that unhappy to stay with me?"
"Yes," Park Seok replied jokingly with a frown.
Everyone burst into laughter, and Miao PD, both amused and annoyed, crumpled the paper in his hand and threw it at his own head.
"Alright, everyone go back and prepare. If you have any good suggestions, feel free to send them to my or Miao PD's email. Also, those leaving early will take the flight at ten o'clock the day after tomorrow, so please gather on time at Incheon International Airport's international flight hall. This trip will be long, so make sure to bring enough of your own things," said Zhao PD.
"Okay," everyone replied in unison.
After the meeting, they continued to enthusiastically discuss whether they would have time for shopping and sightseeing. Looking at her still slightly swollen knee, Anna knew that swimming in the sea this time was definitely a luxury.
"What’s wrong? Aren't you happy about leaving early?" Sister Park noticed Anna's disappointed expression.
"Not really," Anna smiled and pointed at her knee, saying, "This guy definitely can't go into the sea."
"You were thinking about playing in the sea? Just make sure you don't exhaust yourself too much," Park Soo Eun said as she quickened her pace. Noticing that Anna wasn't keeping up, she impatiently stopped and said, "Hurry up! Everyone else is almost ready; you don't need anyone to help you, right?" As she spoke, she walked over and grabbed Anna's arm to walk together.
Anna had now gotten used to Park Soo Eun's cold remarks, which only added to her charm.
"Thank you, Sister Park," Anna said to her.
"Oh, stop the chatter and hurry up. If it weren't for the fact that I see you struggling to work here, I wouldn't bother with you."
Anna chuckled lightly as the two of them entered the elevator.
