As the members of Running Man appeared one by one at the airport, fans recognized them and covered their mouths in surprise, pulling out their phones to take pictures.
Lee Kwang-soo enjoyed this feeling, smiling happily and maintaining his most handsome look while greeting the fans.
Before boarding, he wanted to go to the restroom one more time. As soon as he entered, he overheard Yoo Jae-suk on the phone, his voice low and serious.
"I'm just a variety show host, a gagman. I can't do those things... Please forgive me... I'm sorry, the plane is about to take off, I have to hang up now. Goodbye." After ending the call, Jae-suk stared at the dark screen with a sigh. Turning around, he saw Kwang-soo looking at him with concern, surprised at first but quickly showing a bright smile like usual.
"Kwang-soo, hurry up! We're about to take off," Jae-suk said, patting Kwang-soo on the shoulder.
"Hyung, what happened? You seem troubled lately," Kwang-soo asked with concern.
"It's nothing," Yoo Jae-suk thought for a moment before saying, "There’s a show that wants me to participate, but I don’t think I can make it, so I declined."
Kwang-soo could tell he was lying but chose not to confront him. He understood that if Brother Jae-seok didn’t want to talk about it, there must be a good reason. He smiled and said, "Alright, hyung. If you need any help with anything, you must let us know."
Jae-suk smiled back and replied, "Okay." With that, he walked out of the restroom.
Lee Kwang-soo watched Yoo Jae-suk's back as he left. He knew that Jae-suk was facing something very difficult; in all the time they had known each other, he had never seen him look so troubled.
The plane took off, and soon everyone fell into a deep sleep. Kwang-soo woke up a few times unintentionally, while Jae-suk remained staring out the window in silence, his brow furrowed. Only when flight attendants approached him for autographs did he show a polite smile.
Kwang-soo could only hope that nothing bad was happening. Beside him, Ji-hyo was sleeping soundly, unconsciously resting her head on Kwang-soo's shoulder. Afraid of waking her, Kwang-soo dared not move.
After getting off the plane, it was already past nine in the evening. He walked through the large crowd of enthusiastic fans at the exit and got into the car. Every time there were so many fans to greet him, he felt a deep sense of gratitude.
Filming would not start until tomorrow, so tonight he was free to do as he pleased. After finishing the preparations for filming and spending a whole day on a speedboat, Anna just wanted to lie down and rest. However, just as she lay down on the bed after taking a shower, the doorbell rang.
"Coming," Anna replied, dragging her heavy feet to open the door.
"Sister Park?" Anna asked in confusion. "Why are you here so late? Aren't you going to sleep?"
"What time is it?" Park Soo Eun shot Anna a glance and said, "Everyone is going out for grilled seafood. Come with us, hurry and change your clothes."
"I..." At that moment, Anna just wanted to sleep, but thinking about everyone else going out and that Park Soo Eun had specifically come to invite her, she nodded and said, "Okay, sister, wait for me while I change."
When they arrived at the gathering place, Anna felt a bit regretful. She had thought it was a group dinner for everyone but found out it was just Kwang-soo, Ji-hyo, Haha, Kwon Ryeol, Park Seok, and a few others who voluntarily came out. If she had known, she would have stayed at the hotel to sleep. Anna felt regretful but since she was already there, she could only sit down cheerfully.
Anna sat next to Ji-hyo. Seeing Ji-hyo made her very happy; she greeted Ji-hyo affectionately. Looking at the two empty cans of beer in front of Ji-hyo, Anna was truly impressed.
